LOS CORAZONES DEL TRIGO SON ENTONCES PROCESADOS POR MEDIO DE UN NUMERO DE OPERACIONES DE FRICCION O ABRASION PARA PELAR Y LAMINAR VARIAS LAMINAS DE FIBRA DE LOS CORAZONES DE TRIGO. UNA SERIE DE MAQUINAS DE FRICCION SEGUIDAS DE MAQUINAS DE ABRASION ELIMINAN PROGRESIVAMENTE LAS LAMINAS DE FIBRA Y SEPARAN LAS MISMAS DENTRO DE UNAS MEZCLAS DE LAMINAS DE FIBRA GENERALMENTE PREIDENTIFICADAS. MAS DE UN 75% DE LA FIBRA PUEDE SER EXTRAIDA, EL RESTO DE FIBRA ES LIMINADO ESENCIALMENTE AL AUMENTO DEL TRIGO DE MANERA CONVENCIONAL DURANTE SU MOLIDO.
