Definitions
- the invention relates to a microswitch for a coaxial connector according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- Microswitches for coaxial connectors are used, for example, in mobile telephones.
- Mobile phones usually have internal antennas, but if they are plugged, for example, in a car mount, the mobile phone is connected to a motor vehicle antenna.
- the connection of the mobile phone with the vehicle antenna thereby requires interrupting the connection to the internal antenna and diverting the transmit and receive signals to and from the motor vehicle antenna when the mobile phone is inserted into the vehicle mount.
- the connection to the motor vehicle antenna is typically made via a coaxial cable, wherein the connection between coaxial cable and the mobile phone is made via a coaxial connector.
- microswitches An alternative application of such microswitches is the use as a test switch for testing a populated board.
- a coaxial connector with a switching function is known in which by the insertion of a coaxial plug in the mobile phone, the contact with the internal antenna is automatically interrupted and the contact is made to an external antenna.
- the there disclosed microswitch has a contact spring and a mating contact, wherein when inserting the coaxial connector, an actuator interrupts the contact between the contact spring and the mating contact and establishes the coaxial connector to the external antenna.
- the contact spring is designed as a simple leaf spring, the actuator after a loosening of the coaxial connector returns to an initial position and the signal circuit to the internal antenna closes.
- the microswitches known from the prior art have various disadvantages. For example, a simple leaf spring can apply only a relatively small spring force, so that a secure closing of the contact with the internal antenna when releasing the coaxial plug can not always be guaranteed.
- the invention has the object to provide a micro-switch for a coaxial connector, which allows a safe closing of the contact with a higher spring force.
- An inventive micro-switch for a coaxial connector has a contact spring and a mating contact, wherein the contact spring is a cross-shaped leaf spring.
- the cruciform leaf spring has the advantage that a spring force is applied not only by a longitudinally extending main web, but also by a transverse web extending away from the main web on both sides.
- the crosspiece is ideally arranged in a front region of the main web and in particular in the vicinity of the mating contact, so that there is a favorable force distribution.
- the transverse web is integrally formed on the main web.
- a one-piece design of the cross-shaped leaf spring has the advantage that the leaf spring can be produced with a single operation as a stamped part and thus no additional production costs.
- the crossbar may be formed arcuate biased, so that a larger spring force is achieved.
- the ends of the cross bar are mounted at the level of a contact surface between the contact spring and the mating contact, so that a spring force is formed from a bending of the cross bar.
- the main web can be formed bent at right angles to a mounting end, so that a simple contact of the contact spring from below and easier storage in the housing are possible.
- the mating contact may be formed bent at right angles.
- the microswitch has a housing into which an actuating opening is made via a crossing point of the main web and the secondary web.
- the housing can be designed such that upon insertion of a coaxial connector in the coaxial connector, a central conductor of the coaxial connector abuts through the actuating opening on the intersection of main and secondary web and so pushes the leaf spring down and releases the connection to the mating contact. At the same time a contact with an external antenna device is closed by the contact of the central conductor of the coaxial connector with the leaf spring.
- the housing of the microswitch can be made of metal, so that an outer conductor of the coaxial connector can make a ground contact via the housing.
- supports are provided in the housing, on which the crossbar is mounted floating.
- a floating mounting of the crosspiece on these supports which may be formed, for example, wart-shaped, prevents the ends of the crossbar can scour or jam on a flat surface trained flat.
- the supports are formed in a development of the microswitch with different heights. As a result, the transverse web slides differently over the supports when the microswitch is actuated, and the main web performs a slight transverse movement. By this transverse movement a slight chafing in the contact area is achieved, which causes a self-cleaning of the contact point.
- the complete microswitch for surface mounting can be designed as a surface-mounted device (SMD), for which purpose it makes sense to design the attachment end of the main web and the mating contact each as a soldering surface.
- SMD surface-mounted device
- Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a switching mechanism 100 of a microswitch according to the invention.
- the switching mechanism 100 is constructed from a cross-shaped leaf spring 110 and a mating contact 130 made of electrically conductive material.
- the cross-shaped leaf spring 110 has a main web 111 with a contact end 113 and a mounting end 114.
- the main web 111 is formed as an elongated leaf spring and bent at the attachment end 114 at right angles.
- the contact end 113 of the main web 111 overlaps with a mating contact 130 in a contact region 115, so that there is a conductive connection between the contact spring 110 and the mating contact 130.
- a transversely to the main web 111 extending transverse web 112 is integrally formed.
- the cross bar 112 is bent downwards in an arc shape, so that an additional spring force is provided when the cross bar rests on a base.
- Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of a microswitch according to the invention with a housing 200.
- the housing 200 is constructed cuboid, wherein the base surface is formed approximately square.
- a top surface of the housing 200 has a centrally disposed, circular actuating opening 210, which lies above a crossing point of the main web 111 and the secondary web 112.
- the housing 200 essentially has two parts, wherein an externally arranged, metallic part is bent substantially clamp-shaped around an inner part made of insulating material 205.
- the part of the housing 200 made of insulating material 205 is designed so that the switching mechanism 100 is mounted in isolation from the outer part of metal and both the right angle bent part of the mating contact and the right angle bent mounting end 114 of the leaf spring 110 are guided to the outside and, for example. can be used as solder contacts.
- Fig. 3 shows a section through the microswitch Fig. 2 along the line AA.
- the cut is guided parallel to a side surface of the housing 200 and extends transversely to a longitudinal axis of the main web 111 centrally through the transverse web 112.
- the insulating material 205 inside the housing can be seen particularly clearly.
- the insulating material forms a bottom plate 212 and a cover plate 214 arranged parallel thereto, through which the actuating opening 210 is guided in the center. Between the bottom plate 212 and the cover plate 214, the switching mechanism 100 is arranged.
- the bottom plate 212 is formed separately from the side part formed of insulating material and the cover plate 214 and is used in the assembly, for example, at the end with the rear derailleur 100.
- integrally formed supports 207 which serve to support the cross bar 112.
- an actuation of the switching mechanism 100 by the actuating opening 210 a transverse movement is induced, which causes a self-cleaning of the contact surface between the contact spring 110 and the mating contact 130 by scrubbing in the contact area 115.
- the actuating opening 210 is funnel-shaped in the region of the cover plate 214, so that a centering of a centrally arranged contact pin of a coaxial plug during insertion takes place.
- Fig. 4 shows a longitudinal section through the microswitch Fig. 2 along the line BB.
- the arrangement and fixation of the switching mechanism 100 in the part of the housing 200 formed from insulating material 205 can be seen particularly well.
- the right angle bent attachment end 114 of the contact spring 110 is guided out of the housing 200 to the outside, while the main web 111 is completely surrounded in a first region of insulating material 205 and is suitably mounted in a front region to perform a bending movement.
- Fig. 4 shows a longitudinal section through the microswitch Fig. 2 along the line BB.
- the mating contact 130 is located higher than the contact spring 110 in the microswitch, so that the contact spring 110 comes to lie with its contact end 113 under the mating contact 130 and in an unactuated state, the signal path between contact spring 110 and mating contact 130 with a biasing force closes.
- an internal antenna of the mobile telephone is ideally connected to a mating contact 130, while a transmitting / receiving unit is connected to the attachment end 114 of the contact spring.
Abstract
