Definitions

  • the invention relates to a vehicle seat of a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger or truck, which is equipped with a device for carrying out massage functions.
  • Vehicle seats of motor vehicles have at least one seat cushion and one seat back, which are equipped with a predetermined seat contour by means of cushion elements and respective suspensions.
  • the construction of such vehicle seats conventionally consists of a respective spring base, which is covered with cushion pads and then with a corresponding seat cover. Through the upholstery and the fastening seams of the seat cover, an attempt is made to provide the driver of the motor vehicle with a seat contour that causes as little fatigue as possible even when sitting for long periods of time and is adapted as well as possible to the respective anatomy of the driver.
  • pneumatic elements in the seat of vehicle seats in particular vehicle seats of trucks, which can be pressurized via a control device such that various massage functions can be implemented via the pneumatic elements.
  • a periodically changing seat contour can be generated in a manner similar to the pearl seat massage pads of vehicle seats in such a way that signs of fatigue due to long-term sitting in the vehicle seat can be prevented.
  • the disadvantage here is that either the pneumatic elements produce only a slight effect, since they are regularly connected to each other pneumatically and therefore pressure-related and / or the massage effect is relatively weak, because with more or less large-scale pressure generation below the upholstery of vehicle seats and because of the usually tightly tensioned covers above this cushion cover effective transmission of pressures to the driver's body is avoided.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat with a contour adjustment and a massage function which is structurally as simple as possible to implement and which permits variable adjustment of the seat that is as effective and variable as possible with regard to the desired seat contour.
  • This object is achieved by a vehicle seat with the features according to claim 1.
  • the vehicle seat according to the invention has a seat cushion and a seat back, each of which is provided with a plurality of pressurizable elements for influencing the seat contour, and a controller for targeted pressurization of the elements, wherein different massage effects can be achieved by means of the controller.
  • the vehicle seat according to the invention is characterized in that the elements which can be pressurized are small, cushion-like elements in relation to the surface of the seat contour, which elements can each be controlled separately via lines for the essentially point-like change of the seat contour. This can on the one hand Effective massage function can be realized by means of the elements that can be pressurized, since essentially point-like pressure generation enables targeted changes in the seat contour.

  • the massage function can be added to existing seats by taking up little additional space.
  • the only point-like pressure generation of individual or a combination of several pressurizable elements is surprisingly sufficient for a targeted change in the seat contour and effective, that is to say effective implementation of massage functions.
  • the selective pressure increase within the backrest and seat of the vehicle due to the seat contour consisting of lamination and / or upholstery as well as cover can be used to make a targeted and effective change in the seat contour.

  • the vehicle seat can thus be adapted specifically to different users of the vehicle, that is to say corresponding to the respective orthopedic and / or comfort-related conditions.
  • the seat contour can be called up again and again or is taken up again automatically after one or more massage actions have been carried out. This is advantageously done by pressurizing the individual elements, each of which has only a small volume and therefore has short response times.
  • the contour adjustment according to the invention with a combined massage function takes up little space and can be inserted in a simple manner between the individual elements of a vehicle seat, in particular the spring base, upholstery and the cover of the seat.
  • the elements that can be pressurized are arranged between an upholstery and a cover of the vehicle seat.
  • the effectiveness of the essentially punctiform pressure generation by the elements that can be pressurized can thus be increased further.
  • essentially point-shaped is understood to mean a region which is relatively small in relation to the total area of the seat or the backrest of the vehicle seat, in particular an region of the order of 5 to 10 cm 2 , which can be actuated separately by means of a single element which can be pressurized.
  • the number and arrangement of the respective elements is preferably essentially distributed over the entire surface of the seat contour, but can also be limited to individual specific areas.
  • the pressurizable elements are fixed on a flat support insert and are arranged below a liner covering the vehicle seat covered by the cover of the seat. This simplifies the assembly of the seat according to the invention, since the individual elements and their connecting lines are fixed on a support surface in such a way that slipping or shifting during manufacture of the vehicle seat is avoided.
  • the position of the respective printing elements is thus precisely defined, so that, in particular, targeted massages from individual areas in the area of the seat contour are possible.
  • the shape of the elements that can be pressurized is such that essentially punctiform pressure areas can be generated within the seat contour. This prevents the entire area of the seat cushion or the backrest from being moved equally, or at least a large part thereof, by actuating a single element.
  • the punctiform pressurization has the particular advantage that the variability in realizing a pre-setting of the seat contour is increased as well as the variety of massage functions that can be realized by the seat.
  • One form of the elements that can be pressurized which is essentially adapted to a punctiform generation of pressure areas, is, for example, an oval or circular shape with side seams, so that when the element is subjected to pressure, essentially only an expansion takes place in the direction transverse to the surface of the seat contour.
  • An alternative example of a shape of a pressure element, so that punctiform pressure generation is possible is the provision of bellows-like side areas which are connected by flat, opposite side walls. Again, essentially going towards that A pressure is generated on the surface of the seat surface and backrest surface without a relevant enlargement of the element towards the sides and thus a flat - not punctiform - pressure generation.
  • any other form of pressurizable element can alternatively be used as long as, according to this aspect of the invention, an essentially punctiform, that is to say targeted and effective, pressurization with regard to the massage effect and the setting of desired seat contours can be achieved.
  • the elements that can be pressurized can be actuated via respective separate lines, the lines being arranged and fixed in the surface of a carrier insert and bundled together in the direction of the control element.
  • This arrangement simplifies the assembly of the pressure elements and their lines during the manufacture of the vehicle seat, since a simple flat support insert has to be inserted and fixed in the layers of the seat.
  • the connecting lines of the control device or the pressure generating device are thereby as short as possible, and the corresponding response times when pressurized are correspondingly short.

  • one or more of the pressurizable elements can be pressurized pneumatically or electropneumatically.
  • Pressurization with a fluid can be provided, but the use of air is advantageous with regard to leakage problems.
  • the control is adapted to carry out a plurality of preset and individually adjustable massage functions.
  • the massage functions are implemented by a combined, periodically changing and / or individual actuation of the respective pressure elements in the areas of the seat contour.
  • this makes it possible to implement known types of massage, such as a reflex zone massage with targeted massage of individual areas of the body.
  • a plurality of preselected settings of a seat contour can be stored by means of the control.
  • a specific adaptation of the seat contour that is essential for longer driving is stored in each case. Similar to preset seating positions (seat height, backrest incline, distance to the pedals, etc.), the respective seat contour can thus advantageously be specifically adapted and also saved in this adaptation. All the driver has to do is select the presetting that is optimized for his physique, and this is implemented by the control system using the pressurizable elements.
