Description
上記構成によれば、より効果的に、その溶着部に破断が生じやすい部分の肉厚を厚くすることができる。
上記構成によれば、より一層、溶着部の破断による袋部の破れが生じ難くなる。そして、これにより、その空気袋の耐久性を向上させることができる。
上記構成によれば、溶着型に押し退けられることにより袋部の内側となる位置に移動するシート材の肉が減少する。更に、これにより、両シート材の間に形成される溶着ビード部について、その袋部の内側への突出量が小さくなる。その結果、その溶着ビード部の基端部に応力が集中し難くなる。そして、これにより、溶着部の破断が生じ難くなることで、その空気袋の耐久性を向上させることができる。
上記課題を解決する空気袋は、前記第1溶着部の外表面に突出する突起部を備えることが好ましい。
上記構成によれば、各シート材の重なり方向両側において、その溶着ビード部の基端部を起点とした溶着部の破断が生じ難くなる。そして、これにより、空気袋の耐久性を向上させることができる。
上記構成によれば、耐久性能の向上により高い信頼性を確保することができる。
図1及び図2に示すように、車両用のシート1は、シートクッション2と、このシートクッション2の後端部に設けられたシートバック3と、を備えている。そして、そのシートバック3の上端には、ヘッドレスト4が設けられている。
次に、本実施形態のシート装置30に用いられる空気袋の構造、及び、その製造方法について説明する。
即ち、厚み方向に重ねられた二枚のシート材41,42に対し、その重なり方向から溶着型60を押し当てることで、これら両シート材41,42の溶着部50が形成される。そして、この溶着部50が環状をなすように、その押し当て面70の平面形状を溶着型60に設定することにより、周縁部が溶着部50に封止された状態で、その空気袋40の袋部45が形成される。
(1)空気袋40は、重ねて配置された二枚のシート材41,42に対して該各シート材41,42の重なり方向から溶着型60を押し当てることにより、その環状に延びる溶着部50に囲まれた袋部45が形成される。また、溶着型60は、シート材42の外表面42sに押し当てられることにより、両シート材41,42の間において袋部45の内側に突出する溶着ビード部80を有した両シート材41,42の溶着部50を形成する。そして、そのシート材42に対する溶着型60の押し当て面70には、溶着ビード部80の形成位置よりも袋部45の外側となる位置において、各シート材41,42の重なり方向及び袋部45の内側となる方向に臨む斜面部75が設けられる。
(3)斜面部75は、溶着型60の押し当て面70と、この押し当て面70に交差する溶着型60の側壁面73とが形成する角部74を面取りすることにより形成されてなる。

Claims (10)
- 重ねて配置された二枚のシート材に対して該各シート材の重なり方向から溶着型を押し当てることにより環状に延びる溶着部に囲まれた袋部を形成する工程を備え、
前記溶着型は、前記シート材に押し当てられることにより前記両シート材の間において前記袋部の内側に突出する溶着ビード部を有した前記溶着部を形成するものであって、
前記シート材に対する前記溶着型の押し当て面には、前記溶着ビード部の形成位置よりも前記袋部の外側となる位置において、前記各シート材の重なり方向及び前記袋部の内側となる方向に臨む斜面部が設けられ、
前記溶着型は、前記押し当て面に形成された凹部を備える空気袋の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の空気袋の製造方法において、
前記斜面部は、凸状の湾曲面形状を有すること、を特徴とする空気袋の製造方法。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の空気袋の製造方法において、
前記斜面部は、前記押し当て面と該押し当て面に交差する前記溶着型の側壁面とが形成する角部を面取りすることにより形成されてなること、を特徴とする空気袋の製造方法。 - 請求項1~請求項3の何れか一項に記載の空気袋の製造方法において、
前記溶着型は、前記押し当て面として、
前記シート材の外表面に押し当てられる第1押し当て面と、
前記第1押し当て面よりも前記溶着型の押し当て方向における後退した位置において前記シート材の外表面に押し当てられる第2押し当て面と、を備え、
前記斜面部は、前記第2押し当て面と該第2押し当て面に交差する前記溶着型の側壁面との境界部に設けられること、を特徴とする空気袋の製造方法。 - 請求項4に記載の空気袋の製造方法において、
前記溶着型は、前記第1押し当て面と前記第2押し当て面との境界部に設けられた第2の斜面部を備えること、を特徴とする空気袋の製造方法。 - 請求項1~請求項5の何れか一項に記載の空気袋の製造方法において、
前記各シート材の重なり方向に該各シート材を挟み込む第1及び第2の前記溶着型を用いて、前記袋部を囲む前記溶着部が形成されること、を特徴とする空気袋の製造方法。 - 互いに溶着された二枚のシート材が形成する環状の溶着部に囲まれた袋部を備え、
前記溶着部は、
前記袋部の外側となる位置に形成された第1溶着部と、
前記袋部の内側に突出する状態で前記両シート材の間に形成された溶着ビード部と、
前記袋部の外側に膨出する状態で前記溶着ビード部と前記第1溶着部との間の位置に形成された第2溶着部と、
前記袋部の外側において前記第2溶着部と該第2溶着部に接続された前記シート材の接続端との境界部を肉埋めすることにより前記各シート材の重なり方向に臨む前記第2溶着部の外表面と前記シート材の外表面とを接続する斜面を形成する肉埋め部と、を備える空気袋であって、
前記第1溶着部の外表面に突出する突起部を備える
空気袋。 - 請求項7に記載の空気袋において、
前記溶着部は、前記第1溶着部と前記第2溶着部との境界部を肉埋めすることにより前記第1溶着部の外表面と前記第2溶着部の外表面とを接続する第2斜面を形成する第2肉埋め部を備えること、を特徴とする空気袋。 - 請求項7又は請求項8に記載の空気袋において、
前記溶着部は、前記各シート材の重なり方向両側に、前記第2溶着部及び前記斜面を備えること、を特徴とする空気袋。 - 請求項7~請求項9の何れか一項に記載の空気袋を備えた車両用シート装置。
