  • a resilient end piece 302 of the conductor protrudes out of the base 300 and is in contact with a corresponding terminal 303 of a laser unit 304, which is plugged onto the base 300. Only in the unfolded state according to FIG. 52b, d can the circuit of supply batteries 305, 306 to the laser unit 304 be closed, since only then does a connecting conductor 307 bear against the conductor track 301. This leads, with appropriate insulation 308, to a free resilient end, which serves as a contact 309.
  • the batteries 305, 306 are accommodated in a holder 310 which can be folded out for the purpose of battery replacement (dot-dash line in FIG. 52b). In the folded position of the battery holder 310 is held on a pin 311 with locking arms.
  • the two batteries 305, 306 are connected in series and one end of the series connection is grounded via the pin 311.
  • the holder 310 serves as a switch: when it is depressed ( Figure 52d), the other end of the battery series contacts the contact 309 and closes the circuit.
  • the power interruption could also take place in the region of the latching arms.
  • the activation could also be done via a separately arranged microswitch.
