Pour obtenir le mouillage préalable de la portée de fils (3) avec de l'eau (10, 14) ou analogue avant son introduction dans le bain (20, 25) d'encollage et l'exprimage des fils après le mouillage préalable mais avant l'encollage, sans avoir recours en principe à des éléments supplémentaires, le mécanisme d'alimentation (1) est conçu de manière polyvalente à la fois en tant que moyen de mouillage préalable et mécanisme d'exprimage (16) de l'agent mouillant.
