- All four sealing systems (6, 7, 10 and 3.1) together completely cover the air gaps 9.1, 9.2 and 11 present in an automatic door and hardly let any noise generated outside the cabin penetrate into it when the door is closed.
- the post seal 7 closes the post air gap from the door sill 5 up to below the fighter seal 10 and this in turn covers the entire fighter air gap 9.2.
- the principle of the labyrinth seal for the threshold seal 6 is preferred to a contact seal because dirt and foreign bodies of all kinds can be expected in this area.
- the effect of the threshold seal 6 can be further increased if, in addition to the doubling according to FIG. 7, the guide sliders 6.2 are extended and / or provided in a larger number.
