Abstract

Bei bekannten Falzapparaten, die die nach dem ersten Längsfalz geschnittenen Exemplare an einem Sammelzylinder sammeln und anschließend mittels einer Transporteinrichtung an eine zweite Längsfalzvorrichtung weitergeben, werden die gesammelt übereinanderliegenden Exemplare zur Sicherung ihrer Lage zueinander in Höhe des folgenden zweiten Längsfalz perforiert. Hierzu ist dem Sammelzylinder ein Überführzylinder beträchtlichen Durchmessers nachgeordnet, der eine Perforier-Ringnut aufweist, mit der ein Perforiermesser einer an den Überführzylinder angestellten Perforierwalze zusammenwirkt. Trotz des großen Durchmessers der Überführwalze neigt die in der Krümmung desselben vorgenommene Perforierung beim Strecken der Exemplare auf der nachfolgenden Bandleitung zum Auseinandergehen. Perforierwalzen und zweite Längsfalzvorrichtung müssen bei einer Einstellung auf die Exemplarmitte jeweils umständlich einzeln justiert werden.
Durch die Bestückung des Sammelzylinders (10) mit Aushebefingern (14) und die Verlagerung der Perforiermesserwalze (22) und der Perforier- Nutringwalze (23) in das horizontal angeordnete System von Bandführungen (7, 17, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28) kann auf einen Überführzylinder gänzlich verzichtet werden. Die Perforation findet in gestreckter Lage statt; der Perforier-Nutringzylinder hat einen sehr geringen Durchmesser. Durch die Anordnung der Bandführungs- und Antriebswalzen (18, 19, 20, 21) und des Perforierwalzenpaares (22, 23) gemeinsam mit der zweiten Längsfalzvorrichtung (29, 30) in einem senkrecht zum zweiten Längsfalz verfahrbaren Hilfsrahmen (34) ist deren synchrone Verstellbarkeit gegeben.
