Es ist eine große Zahl von Klebstoffzubereitungen auf Basis von natürlichen und synthetischen Produkten
verschiedener Art bekannt. In großer und zunehmender Zahl enthalten die Klebstoffe synthetische Hochpolymere
in Kombination mit Klebharzen, Füllstoffen, Weichmachern, Stabilisatoren, Streckmitteln usw. In
den meisten Fällen unterliegt jedoch jede dieser Arten einer gewissen technischen oder wirtschaftlichen
Begrenzung, da in allen Fällen ein Gleichgewicht zwischen den Eigenschaften, wie der Festigkeit, der
Beständigkeit, den Klebeeigenschaften usw., und den gesamten Klebstoffkosten gefunden werden muß.
Sehr wichtig ist neben der Adhäsion an verschiedenen ' Substraten die Kohäsion der Klebstoffe. Produkte, von
denen man weiß, daß sie Klebstoffen eine hohe Kohäsion verleihen, weisen nichtsdestoweniger Mängel
auf. Die Verwendung von vernetzten Polymerisaten, etwa von gehärteten Epoxyharzen oder von vulkanisierten
Kautschuken, verlangt eine spezielle Behandlung, weshalb diese Art von Produkten oft unerwünscht ist.
Andererseits besitzen unvernetzte Polymerisate oberhalb ihrer Glasübergangstemperatur gewöhnlich eine
geringe Festigkeit und sind unterhalb dieser Temperatur hart und brüchig. Einige Produkte weisen eine
höhere Kohäsion in Verbindung mit Flexibilitätseigenschaften auf, beispielsweise Polychloropren und Polyamide.
Die Kosten dieser Produkte liegen jedoch in unerwünschter Weise über denen von gewöhnlichen
Klebstoffkomponenten.
Der Einbau von Petroleumölen u. dgl. zur Steigerung der Flexibilität und zur Herabsetzung der Herstellungskosten
von Klebstoffen mit einem Gehalt an Polymerisaten, wie natürlicher Katuschuk, war bis jetzt wegen
der raschen Herabsetzung der Kohäsion der Klebstoffe durch solche öle scharf begrenzt. Die Kosten solcher
öle sind jedoch so niedrig, daß ihre Verwendung äußerst anziehend wäre, wenn Klebstoffe gefunden
werden könnten, in die sie in wesentlicher Menge eingebaut werden könnten, ohne daß die Eigenschaften
der entstehenden Klebstoffe nachteilig beeinflußt werden.
Erfindungsgegenstand sind Klebstoffe auf Basis einer Mischung aus synthetischem Kautschuk, Klebharz und
Strecköl. Sie sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie aus
a) 100 Gewichtsteilen eines thermoplastischen elastomeren,
gegebenenfalls teilweise oder vollständig hydrierten Blockmischpolymerisats der allgemeinen
Formel: . D A

in der Ai und A2 nichtelastomere Polymerisatblökke
mit einer Glasübergangstemperatur von mehr als 200C und einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht
von 15 000 bis 100 000 sind und B ein elastomerer Polymerisatblock eines konjugierten
Diens mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht von 25 000 bis 150 000 ist, wobei die Blöcke
Ai und A2 20 bis 80 Gewichtsprozent des Mischpolymerisates darstellen,
b) 50 bis 200 Gewichtsteilen Klebharz,
c) 25 bis 125 Gewichtsteilen Petroleumstrecköl mit einem Aromatengehalt von weniger als 30
Gewichtsprozent, einer Viskosität im Bereich von 35 bis 100 SUS bei 99° C und einem beginnenden
Siedepunkt von mehr als 288° C sowie gegebenenfalls üblichen Stabilisatoren, Antioxydantien und
geringeren Mengen üblicher Elastomeren bestehen.
Unter »elastomer« ist hier ein Polymerisat zu verstehen, daß gemäß »ASTM special technical bulletin
No. 194« wie folgt definiert ist:
»eine Substanz, die sich bei Zimmertemperatur auf mindestens ihre doppelte ursprüngliche Länge
dehnen läßt und nach erfolgter Dehnung und Nachlassen der Dehnungskraft innerhalb kurzer
Zeit auf ungefähr ihre ursprüngliche Länge zurückschnellt«. Hierdurch unterscheidet sich der
elastomere Polymerisatblock von den nichtelastomeren Polymerisatblöcken.
Die Blockmischpolymerisate a) besitzen die besonderen physikalischen Eigenschaften von vulkanisiertem
Kautschuk, obwohl sie keiner Vulkanisationsbehandlung unterworfen werden. Der Vorteil solcher Eigenschaften
ist vielfältig und geht auf die verbesserten Dehnungs- und Belastungseigenschaften der Blockmischpolymerisate
zurück, die charakteristisch für vulkanisierte Kautschuke sind, während gleichzeitig die
Löslichkeitseigenschaften von nichtvulkanisierten Produkten beibehalten werden.
Die endständigen nichtelastomeren Blöcke Ai und A2
werden vorzugsweise aus einem vinylsubstituierten aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoff hergestellt. Das individuelle
Molekulargewicht dieser endständigen nichtelastomeren Blöcke wird auf das durchschnittliche
Molekulargewicht des mittleren elastomeren Blocks abgestimmt. Diese endständigen Blöcke können auch
durch (Misch-)PoIymerisation von Acrylmonomeren hergestellt werden und sollten vorzugsweise eine
Glasübergangstemperatur von mehr als ungefähr 500C besitzen, wobei der Unterschied der Glasübergangstemperatur
zwischen dem Mittelblock und den endständi-
gen Blöcken mehr als ungefähr 100°C beträgt.
Die nichtelastomeren endständigen Blöcke können Homopolymerisate oder Mischpolymeriste von Vinylmonomeren
enthalten, wie etwa Vinylaromaten, Vinylpyridine, Vinylhalogenide und Vinylcarboxylate, wie
auch Acrylmonomere, wie etwa Acrylnitril, Methacrylnitril, Ester von Acrylsäuren usw. Monovinylaromatische
Kohlenwasserstoffe sind unter anderem besonders diejenigen der Benzolreihe, wie Styrol, Vinyltoluol,
Vinylxylol, Äthylvinylbenzol, wie auch dicyclische Monovinylverbindungen, wie etwa Vinylnaphthalin
u. dgl. Weitere nichtelastomere endständige Polymerisatblöcke lassen sich von «-Olefinen, Alkylenoxiden,
Acetalen, Urethanen usw. ableiten.
Die mittleren elastomeren Blöcke werden aus konjugierten Dienen hergestellt, etwa aus Isopren,
Budadien, aus Mischpolymerisaten von Styrol und Butadien, wie auch aus deren Homologen.
Die Blockmischpolymerisate können durch Verwendung eines Initiators auf Lithiumbasis hergestellt
werden, wie etwa metallisches Lithium oder organische Lithiumverbindungen, sei es in polaren oder nichtpolaren
Lösungsmitteln, je nach der Struktur des gewünschten Polymerisatblocks des konjugierten Diens. Für
bestimmte Zwecke ist eine hohe cis-Struktur der mittleren Blöcke erwünscht, insbesondere bei der
Verwendung von Isopren^ Dies wird durch Polymerisation in Gegenwart von nichtpolaren Lösungsmitteln
erreicht. Wird eine stärker verzweigte Struktur erwünscht, dann kann eine mehr oder weniger große
Menge polarer Lösungsmittel, wie etwa Tetrahydrofuran u. dgl., vorhanden sein. Werden die Blockmischpolymerisate
gemäß einem zweistufigen Verfahren hergestellt, dann können Diiithiuminitiatoren verwendet
werden, oder es kann eine Kupplungsreaktion angewandt werden, gemäß der ein Blockmischpolymerisat,
aus beispielsweise Polystyrol und Polybutadien, unter Verwendung einer dichlorierten aromatischen Verbindung,
wie etwa Dichlorbenzol, oder mit einem Divinylaromaten, wie etwa Divinylbenzol, unter Bildung
eines gekuppelten Polymerisates gekuppelt wird, in welchem der mittlere Block ein gekuppelter elastomerer
Block ist.
Die Blockmischpolymerisate lassen sich nach Wunsch auch durch Hydrierung modifizieren, wobei die
Hydrierung partiell oder auch vollständig sein kann. Zur Hydrierung des elastomeren zentralen Dienbloeks
können beispielsweise solche Bedingungen angewandt werden, daß die Polymerisatblöcke aus dem Vinylaromaten
nicht modifiziert werden. Für eine im wesentlichen gleichmäßige Hydrierung entlang der Polymerisatkette
können weiterhin solche Bedingungen angewandt werden, daß sowohl die elastomeren wie auch die
nichtelastomeren Blöcke bis zu praktisch dem gleichen Umfang partiell oder auch vollständig hydriert werden.
Durch die Hydrierung des Blockmischpolymerisates kann dessen Verträglichkeit mit den Streckölen in der
Weise verändert werden, daß der Umfang der in den erfindungsgemäßen Klebstoffen verwendbaren öle
erweitert wird.
Auf Wunsch können die Klebstoffe mit Substanzen wie Antioxydantien und Stabilisatoren modifiziert
werden. Hierzu gehören sowohl Stabilisatoren zum Schutz der mittleren elastomeren Blöcke wie auch der
endständigen nichtelastomeren Blöcke. Kombinationen . von Stabilisatoren sind oft wirksamer, was auf den
unterschiedlichen Abbaumechanismus zurückgeht, dem die einzelnen Blöcke unterliegen. Für diesen Zweck
eignen sich bestimmte sterisch gehinderte Phenole, organometallische Verbindungen, aromatische Amine
und Schwefelverbindungen. Besonders wirksame Substanzen dieser Art sind unter anderem die folgenden:
1. Benzothiazole, wie etwa 2-(Dialkyl-hydroxybenzylthio)-benzothiazol;
2. Ester von Hydroxybenzylalkoholen, wie etwa Benzoate, Phthalate, Stearate, Adipate oder Acrylate
von 3,5-Dialkyl-4-hydroxybenzylalkoholen;
3. Zinn(II)-phenylcatecholate;
4. Zinkdialkyldithiocarbamate;

Die öle müssen hinsichtlich der Verträglichkeit mit den verschiedenen Blöcken des Blockmischpolymerisats sorgfältig ausgewählt werden. Das öl sollte im wesentlichen mit den Homopolymerisaten der konjugierten Diene verträglich, mit den Homopolymerisaten der nichtelastomeren endständigen Blöcke jedoch im wesentlichen nicht verträglich sein. Die Verträglichkeit kann durch den folgenden Versuch bestimmt werden.

Die Verträglichkeit kann durch den folgenden Versuch bestimmt werden.
Das zu untersuchende öl wird in verschiedener Menge (beispielsweise 5, 50, 100%) mit dem betreffenden
Blockmischpolymerisat in einem flüchtigen Lösungsmittel für beide Substanzen, beispielsweise Toluol,
vermischt. Durch gleichmäßige Verteilung der Lösung auf einer Glasoberfläche und Verdampfenlassen des
Lösungsmittels bei Raumtemperatur im Verlaufe von 16
bis 24 Stunden wird ein dünner Film gegossen. Ob sich das öl für eine Verwendung als Strecköl eignet, wird auf
Grund der Zugfestigkeit der ölhaltigen Polymerisatfilme, die in kg/cm2 ausgedrückt und mit Hilfe einer
geeigneten Vorrichtung gemessen wird, sowie durch das Aussehen der Filmoberfläche bestimmt. Eine zu starke
Verträglichkeit mit den endständigen Polymerisatblökken bewirkt eine stärkere Herabsetzung der Zugfestigkeit
als diejenige, die bei einfacher Verdünnung des Polymerisates vorliegt. Eine zu starke Unverträglichkeit
macht sich durch Diffusion des Öles an die Filmoberfläche bemerkbar.

In der Tabelle 1 werden die Eigenschaften von typischen Streckölen angegeben, die für die
erfindungsgemäßen Klebstoffe verwendet werden können.
Bevorzugt werden Petroleumstrecköle mit einem Aromatengehalt von weniger als 15 Gewichtsprozent,
einer Viskosität im Bereich von 40 bis 75 SUS bei 990C
und einem beginnenden Siedepunkt von mehr als 301,50C verwendet.
Durch geeignete Wahl der Mengenanteile der drei grundlegenden Bestandteile und durch Wahl des
Molekulargewichtes des Mischpolymerisates, des Schmelzpunktes und der Art des Klebharzes und der
Verträglichkeit von öl und Harz mit dem Mischpolymerisat lassen sich auch Schmelzkleber oder Klebstofflatices
herstellen.
Aus F i g. 1 und 2 geht die Beziehung der Zubereitungen zu zwei wichtigen Eigenschaften von druckempfindlichen
Klebstoffen hervor, nämlich zu der Bindefestigkeit und dem Klebevermögen. Aus F i g. 1 geht die
Abhängigkeit des Klebevermögens von dem Harz-Öl-Verhältnis und aus F i g. 2 die Abhängigkeit der
Bindefestigkeit von dem Harz-Öl-Verhältnis hervor. In beiden Figuren ist auf der Abszisse die ölmenge in
Teilen je 100 Teile des Blockmischpolymerisates und auf
der Ordinate die Menge des Klebeharzes in Teilen je 100 Teile des Blockmischpolymerisats angegeben. In
F i g. 1 beziehen sich die Zahlen in den Umschließungslinien auf das Hercules-Klebevermögen (Hercules-Tack)
in Gramm für eine Probe eines Durchmesser von 0,15cm. In Fig.2 beziehen sich die Zahlen in den
Umschließungslinien auf die Bindefestigkeit der Überlappungsscherung in kg/2,5 · 2,5 cm Überlappung.
Fig.2 weist ein Maximum der Bindefestigkeit bei ungefähr 75 Teilen öl und 100 Teilen Harz, jeweils auf
100 Teile des Blockmischpolymerisates, auf. Innerhalb der 45 kg entsprechenden Umschließungslinie der
Bindefestigkeit liegt jedoch ein großer Bereich, der mehr als geeignet für alle gewöhnlichen Anwendungen
von druckempfindlichen Klebstoffen ist. Aus F i g. 1 geht hervor, daß ein Klebevermögen von mehr als 1250 bis
1500 g, das mit demjenigen von Proben natürlichen Kautschuks und handelsüblicher druckempfindlicher
■ Cellophanstreifen vergleichbar ist, in einem verlängerten
Bereich erhalten werden kann, der sich von ungefähr 20% öl und 50% Harz bis zu ungefähr 100% öl und
180% Harz erstreckt.
Das Klebevermögen von druckempfindlichen Klebstoffen setzt sich aus verschiedenen weiteren Eigenschaften,
unter anderem aus dem Oberflächenklebevermögen, der Zugfestigkeit, der Viskosität, der Härte usw.
zusammen. Da es sich um eine zeit- und druckabhängige Eigenschaft handelt, muß das Klebevermögen unter
spezifischen Bedingungen gemessen werden, die hier 1 Sekunde und ein Druck von 10 g für eine Messingkontaktoberfläche
mit einem Durchmesser von 0,15 cm sind. Diese Eigenschaft wird gemäß dem in »The
Characterization of Pressure Sensitive Adhesives« von Wetzes, ASTM Bulletin Nr. 221, S.TP 72-76, April
1957, beschriebenen Verfahren gemessen.
Schmelzkleber nach der Erfindung eignen sich ausgezeichnet zum Verkleben von polaren Substraten,
etwa Leder, Polyvinylchlorid, Papier usw.
Klebstofflatizes aus den erfindungsgemäßen Klebstoffen besitzen hinsichtlich ihrer Kleb- und Bindefestigkeit
ebenso gute Eigenschaften wie Polychloroprenlatizes, weisen jedoch einen merklichen Vorteil hinsichtlich
der niedrigen Kosten der Rohprodukte auf, weil erhebliche Mengen von wenig teuren ölen verwendet
werden können; ferner braucht kein Nachhärten stattzufinden.
Zum Herstellen der Klebstofflatizes können Lösungen des Blockmischpolymerisates in Cyclohexan mit
einer wäßrigen Seifenlösung emulgiert werden, woran sich eine Behandlung zur Abtrennung des Lösungsmittels
anschließt und die Bildung des Latex erfolgt. Das Harz läßt sich dem ölgestreckten Blockmischpolymerisat
durch Vermischung des Latex mit einer Harzemulsion oder durch Zufügung des Harzes zu der
ursprünglichen Lösung vor der Emulgierung zusetzen. Eine maximale Festigkeit der mit diesen Klebstofflatizes
hergestellten Verklebungen wird durch Erhitzen der Klebstellen nach Schließen der Klebfuge auf eine
Temperatur in der Größenordnung von 100 bis 175° C während dem Bruchteil einer Sekunde bis zu 15 Minuten
erreicht.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Klebstoffe können zum Verkleben von Papier, Pappe, Holz, Metall-, Polyolefin-,
Polyvinylchloridfilme, Cellophan, Filze, Gewebe, Vliese, Glas usw. verwendet werden. Die Klebstoffe sind von
Nutzen in druckempfindlichen Klebstreifen, wie etwa Abdeckstreifen, in Klebfolien, Grundlacken für andere
Klebstoffe, Flickstreifen, in elektrischen Isolierstreifen, zum Herstellen von Schichtstoffen, in Klebemitteln für
Kleiderunterlagen, Teppichunterlagen usw.
Durch das bekannte Strecken von Klebstoffen auf der Basis von Naturkautschuk mit Petroleumölen wird die
Flexibilität des Klebstoffs erhöht, aber die Bindefestigkeit verringert. Wenn man, wie es ebenfalls bekannt ist,
Klebharze in den Klebstoff einbringt, wird zwar die Klebrigkeit des Klebstoffs erhöht, aber die Bindefestigkeit
des Klebstoffs wird verringert. Es war daher nicht ohne weiteres ersichtlich, daß man die Aufgabe der
Erfindung, nämlich einen ein Petroleumstrecköl und ein Klebharz enthaltenden Klebstoff auf Kautschukbasis
mit hoher Klebrigkeit und hoher Flexibilität, aber gleichzeitig auch hoher Bindefestigkeit herzustellen,
dadurch lösen konnte, daß man Kautschuk besonderer Art, der nicht vulkanisiert zu werden braucht, an Stelle
eines bekannten vulkanisierbaren Kautschuks verwendet.
Blockmischpolymerisate der allgemeinen Formel A — B — A, worin die beiden endständigen Blöcke A aus
Polystyrol und der mittlere Block B aus Polybutadien bestehen, sind aus der GB-PS 8 95 980 und der US-PS
30 78 254 bekannt. Diese Blockmischpolymerisate sind jedoch aufgrund der dort gewählten Verhältnisse und
Molgewichte der Blöcke nur thermoplastische bzw. kautschukartige Massen, die noch einer Reaktion, z. B.
mit Bischlormethyläther, unterworfen werden sollen, um ihre Eigenschaften zu verbessern. Das erfindungsgemäß
zu verwendende neue Blockmischpolymerisat, das dem Klebstoff zugefügt wird, hat die überraschende
Eigenschaft, daß es bei Normaltemperatur eine elastomere Substanz mit Eigenschaften ist, die denjenigen
von vulkanisiertem Naturkautschuk entsprechen. Andererseits ist das Polymerisat bei erhöhter Temperatür
thermoplastisch, also leicht plastifizierbar und weich, und kann gut verarbeitet werden. Bei der Abkühlung auf
Normaltemperatur wird es wieder hart und erhält die elastomeren Eigenschaften zurück. Diese Besonderheit
ist überraschend und auf die bestimmte Zusammensetzung der Komponenten der Blockmischpolymerisate
zurückzuführen, insbesondere auf die Molekulargewichte der einzelnen Blöcke und deren Verhältnis
zueinander, wobei auch die Übergangstemperaturen in

den Glaszustand eine Rolle spielen. Wie gefunden wurde, haben diese besonderen Blockmischpolymerisate
mit Zwittereigenschaften je nach der Temperatur nicht nur eine höhere Klebrigkeit und Bindefestigkeit
als ein entsprechender Klebstoff auf der Basis von Naturkautschuk, sonderen sind auch in der Wärme
schmelzbar und daher besonders zum Herstellen druckempfindlicher Klebstreifen geeignet.

Das öl hatte die in Tabelle I unter Typ A angegebenen Eigenschaften. Das Klebharz war ein
handelsüblicher Glycerinester von polymerisiertem Kolophonium mit einem Erweichungspunkt von HO0C
nach der »Hercules Drop Method« (vgl. Firmenschrift Hercules Powder Company, 1965, »Wood rosins«,
modified rosins and related resins, S. 12 bis 15).
Die Klebstoffzusammensetzung und die Testergebnisse waren wie folgt:
Für einen Vergleich wird eine Kontrollprobe auf Basis von natürlichem Kautschuk (ausgewalzte geräucherte
Felle) aufgeführt.
Erfindungs- Kontrollprobe gemäßer auf Basis Klebstoff natürlicher
Kautschuk
Eine Probe eines Polystyrol-Polyisopren-Polystyrol-Blockmischpolymerisates
wurde in einer Toluollösung mit einem nichtaromatischen Strecköl und einem
Klebharz vermengt. Der druckempfindliche Klebstofffilm, der zur Messung des Klebevermögens diente,
wurde durch Verdampfenlassen über Nacht unter Raumbedingungen einer dünnen Schicht dieser auf Glas
verteilten Lösung hergestellt. Die Bindefestigkeit wurde durch Verdampfenlassen von verschiedenen, nacheinander
aufgebrachten Schichten der Lösung auf zwei Leinenstreifen einer Breite von 2,54 cm gemessen.
Hierzu wurden die Streifen so zusammengelegt, daß eine Überlappungsfläche von 2,54 · 2,54 cm gebildet
wurde. Anschließend wurde über Nacht getrocknet und die Proben für die Untersuchung der Überlappungsscherung
bei einer Geschwindigkeit 0,5 cm/Min, mit einem »Instron-Tester« auseinandergezogen.

Diese Klebstoffe wurden entweder durch Vermischen des Blockmischpolymerisates mit dem öl und dem
Klebharz in Toluollösung und Abtrennen des Lösungsmittels durch Dampfstrippen oder durch Vermischen
der Komponenten bei 1500C hergestellt.
Die Blockmischpolymerisate waren entweder PoIystyrol-Polyisopren-Polystyrol
oder Polystyrol-Polybutadien-Polystyrol. Das Öl entsprach dem Typ A in Tabelle I. Das Klebharz war ein Cumaron-Inden-Harz
mit einem Erweichungspunkt von 94 bis 1070C (Ball and
Shoulered Ring).

Das benutzte Blockmischpolymerisat war ein Polystyrol-Polyisopren-Polystyrol-Polymerisat
mit Molekulargewichten der Blöcke von 72 000 bzw. 91 000 und 77 000. Der Styrolgehalt betrug 62 Gewichtsprozent.
Das öl entsprach dem Typ A entsprechend der obigen Tabelle I. Das Klebharz war das gleiche wie im
Beispiel 1.
Die Probe B, die außerhalb des Bereiches des erfindungsgemäßen Polystyrolgehaltes liegt, ergibt eine
niedrigere Überlappungsscherungsbindefestigkeit.
Beispiel 3 Klebstofflatizes
Durch Vermischung eines Latex aus einem Blockmischpolymerisat und öl mit einer wäßrigen Emulsion
eines Klebharzes wurden Klebstofflatizes hergestellt. Der mit öl verstreckte Blockmischpolymerisatlatex
wurde gebildet durch
(1) gründliches Vermischen einer Lösung des Polymerisates
in Cyclohexan und von öl mit einer 1 °/oigen Lösung einer Seife, die durch Neutralisation von
disproportioniertem Kolophonium mit Kaliumhydroxid bis zu einem pH von 10,5 bis 11,0 hergestellt
worden war,
(2) durch Verdampfen des Cyclohexans und
(3) Zentrifugieren zur Konzentrierung des Latex bis auf ungefähr 65 Gewichtsprozent Feststoffgehalt.
Es wurden Verklebungen durch Beschichten von 2,54 cm breiten Leinenstreifen mit dem Latex, Aneinanderlegen
und Pressen der Streifen in einer auf 1250C
erhitzten Presse hergestellt, so daß die Kontaktfläche 6,45 cm2 betrug. Die Überlappungsscherungsbindefestigkeit
wurden in der Weise bestimmt, daß die verklebten Streifen bis zur Zerstörung mit einer
Geschwindigkeit von 0,5 cm in der Minute mit einem »Instron-Tester« auseinandergezogen wurden, wobei

Ein im wesentlichen gesättigtes hydriertes Blockmischpolymerisat der Struktur Polystyrol-Polybutadien-Polystyrol
vor der Hydrierung (Molgewicht 15 000-75 000-15 000) wurde unter Bildung einer 2O°/oigen Lösung in Toluol gelöst. Es wurden verschiedene
Mengen eines naphthenischen Strecköles und eines polymerisierten Terpen-Klebharzes zugefügt und
die Lösung so lange gerührt, bis sie homogen war. Durch Aufbringen der Lösung auf Glas und Trocknen in
Stickstoff wurden Proben hergestellt. Proben für die Überlappungsscherung wurden durch Überlappen von
2,54 cm breiten Leinenstreifen, die mehrere Male beschichtet und getrocknet sowie bei Zimmertemperatur
leicht gepreßt wurden, hergestellt. Die Proben einer Überlappung von 2,5 · 2,5 cm wurden 24 bis 76 Stunden
bei Raumtemperatur und gewöhnlichem Druck unter Stickstoff getrocknet. Die Untersuchungsergebnisse
sind unten zusammengestellt:

Die obigen Angaben zeigen, daß diese Klebstoffe eine außergewöhnliche Klebe- und Bindefestigkeit besitzen.

Claims (2)
1. Klebstoffe auf Basis einer Mischung aus synthetischem Kautschuk, Klebharz und Strecköl,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie aus
a) 100 Gewichtsteilen eines thermoplastischen elastomeren, gegebenenfalls teilweise oder
vollständig hydrierten Blockmischpolymerisats der allgemeinen Formel:
A1-B-A2
in der Ai und A2 nichtelastomere Polymerisatblöcke
mit einer Glasübergangstemperatur von mehr als 200C und einem durchschnittlichen
Molekulargewicht von 15 000 bis 100 000 sind und B ein elastomerer Polymerisatblock eines
konjugierten Diens mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht von 25 000 bis 150 000
ist, wobei die Blöcke Ai und A2 20 bis 80
Gewichtsprozent des Mischpolymerisates darstellen,
b) 50 bis 200 Gewichtsteilen Klebharz,
c) 25 bis 125 Gewichtsteilen Petroleumstrecköl mit einem Aromatengehalt von weniger als 30
Gewichtsprozent, einer Viskosität im Bereich von 35 bis 100 SUS bei 99° C und einem
beginnenden Siedepunkt von mehr als 288° C, sowie gegebenenfalls üblichen Stabilisatoren,
Antioxydantien und geringeren Mengen üblicher Elastomeren,
bestehen.
2. Verwendung der Klebstoffe nach Anspruch 1 zur Herstellung druckempfindlicher Klebestreifen.
