Abstract

Comprimido farmacéutico destinado a la vía oral, para laliberación controlada de clorhidrato de alfuzosina al nivel de los segmentos proximales del tracto gastrointestinal, comprimido caracterizadoporque está constituido por:a) una primera capa 1 que tiene la propiedad de inflarse notable y rápidamente en contacto con los líquidos biológicos acuosos, siendo producida dicha capa por compresión de una mezcla o de un granulado que comprende polímeros hidrófilos que constituyen de 5.0 a 90% y preferentemente de 10 a 85% del peso de la capa, b) una segunda capa 2 adyacente a la primera capa en la cual el clorhidrato de alfuzosina se vehicula, estando formulada esta capa con polímeros hidrófilos y con otras substancias auxiliares, con el objeto de dar a la preparación propiedades de compresibilidad convenientes y de permitir la liberación de clorhidrato de alfuzosina en un intervalo de tiempo predeterminado, c) y eventualmente una tercera capa 3 obtenida por compresión y aplicada sobre la capa 2, generalmente constituida en particular por polímeros hidrófilos, que gelifican y/o se inflan luego pueden eventualmente desgastarse y que tienen función de barrera modulando la liberación del clorhidrato de alfusosina de la capa 2, siendo la capa 3 en principio muy poco permeable al paso de la substancia activa.
