图2示出了根据示例性实施例的用于跳过媒体内容的不需要部分的方法200的示例性处理流程图。方法200可以通过包括硬件(例如,决策逻辑、专用逻辑、可编程逻辑、专用集成电路)、软件(诸如在通用计算机系统或专用机器上运行的软件)或两者的组合的处理逻辑来执行。在一个示例性实施例中,处理逻辑是指图1所示的内容跳过系统120的一个或多个元件。

在操作215处,内容跳过系统120从多个用户获取与相同媒体内容的播放相关联的多个用户寻求信息记录。例如,用户寻求信息记录可以存储在内容跳过系统120的数据库中。每个用户寻求信息记录可以具有唯一的ID,并与媒体内容的ID相关联。当从多个用户获得与相同媒体内容相关联的信息记录的集合时,用户寻求信息记录包括多个第一寻求时间标记和多个第二寻求时间标记。图4示出了存储为JavaScript对象标记(JSON)对象的用户寻求信息记录的示例片段400。如图4所示,对于诸如电影或电视节目的每个内容项,可以有一个或多个与之相关联的记录来指示用户寻求开始(第一)和停止(第二)时间标记。

在操作220处,内容跳过系统120基于多个第一寻求时间标记和多个第二寻求时间标记来确定媒体内容的至少一个不需要部分的开始时间和停止时间。内容跳过系统120可以为媒体内容的每个不需要部分确定单独的定时范围。使用机器学习系统确定不需要部分的开始时间和停止时间。同样重要的是,基于多个用户寻求信息记录,针对每个媒体内容训练机器学习系统。该训练基于从两个或多个用户获得的用户寻求信息记录。图5A和图5B分别示出了用于确定不需要的内容部分的开始时间和停止时间的机器学习系统分配记录的示例图形表示500a和500b。
在操作225处,当为所选用户播放媒体内容时,内容跳过系统120为所选用户的用户设备105提供GUI的控制微件。此外,当所选用户激活控制微件时,从开始时间到停止时间跳过不需要的媒体内容部分,这由操作225处确定。该方法可进一步返回到操作215,以对相同或其他选定用户重复操作215至225。值得注意的是,所选用户是多个用户中的一个。
在附加实施例中,多个用户可以寻求与相同媒体内容相关联的信息记录,其还可以包括第三寻求时间标记和第四寻求时间标记。第三寻求时间标记和第四寻求时间标记都是在第二寻求时间标记之后创建的。第三寻求时间标记和第四寻求时间标记共同指示由一个或多个用户手动识别的媒体内容的另一(第二)不需要部分。分别对第三寻求时间标记和第四寻求时间标记执行操作215到225,以便精确地确定媒体内容的第二不需要部分的开始和停止时间,以便用户或用户设备105能够自动将其跳过。

Claims (20)

从所述多个用户获取与所述媒体内容的所述播放相关联的多个用户寻求信息记录,其中所述用户寻求信息记录的每个包括第一寻求时间标记和第二寻求时间标记;
基于多个所述第一寻求时间标记和多个所述第二寻求时间标记,确定所述媒体内容的至少一个不需要部分的开始时间和停止时间;
当为所选用户播放所述媒体内容时,为所述所选用户的用户设备提供图形用户界面的控制微件,其中当所述所选用户激活所述控制微件时,从所述开始时间到所述停止时间跳过所述媒体内容的所述至少一个不需要部分;
在播放所述媒体内容的同时,从所述多个用户中的一个或多个用户接收响应于跳过所述至少一个不需要部分的反馈,所述反馈包括另外的多个用户寻求信息记录,其中所述另外的多个用户寻求信息记录中的每一个包括另外的第一寻求时间标记和另外的第二寻求时间标记;以及
基于所述另外的第一寻求时间标记和所述另外的第二寻求时间标记,校正所述至少一个不需要部分的所述开始时间和所述停止时间。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述所选用户是所述多个用户中的一个。

计算所述第三寻求时间标记和所述第二寻求时间标记之间的时间段;

如果所述第三寻求时间标记和所述第二寻求时间标记之间的所述时间段大于所述预定值,则由机器学习系统基于所述第三寻求时间标记和所述第四寻求时间标记来确定所述媒体内容的第二不需要部分的第二开始时间和第二停止时间,使得所述用户能够跳过所述第三寻求时间标记和所述第四寻求时间标记之间的所述媒体内容。
13.一种用于跳过媒体内容的一个或多个不需要部分的系统,所述系统包括至少一个处理器和存储处理器可执行代码的存储器,其中,所述至少一个处理器被配置为在执行所述处理器可执行代码时实现以下操作:
向多个用户提供所述媒体内容;
使所述用户的每个能够单独地控制所述媒体内容在用户设备上的播放;
从所述多个用户获取与所述媒体内容的所述播放相关联的多个用户寻求信息记录,其中所述用户寻求信息记录的每个包括第一寻求时间标记和第二寻求时间标记;

当为所选用户播放所述媒体内容时,为所述所选用户的用户设备提供图形用户界面的控制微件,其中当所述所选用户激活所述控制微件时,从所述开始时间到所述停止时间跳过所述媒体内容的所述至少一个不需要部分;
在播放所述媒体内容的同时,从所述多个用户中的一个或多个用户接收响应于跳过所述至少一个不需要部分的反馈,所述反馈包括另外的多个用户寻求信息记录,其中所述另外的多个用户寻求信息记录中的每一个包括另外的第一寻求时间标记和另外的第二寻求时间标记;以及
