Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'inhiber ou de limiter la décomposition d'un système catalyseur d'oligomérisation oléfinique contenant des halogénures lors de la récupération d'un produit d'oligomérisation. Ledit procédé consiste à désactiver un système catalyseur d'oligomérisation oléfinique présent dans un courant d'effluent de réacteur d'oligomérisation oléfinique par contact avec un alcool dans des états qui minimisent le potentiel de décomposition du système catalyseur désactivé. Ces états comprennent notamment la minimisation de la teneur en eau de l'agent désactivant et la concentration dudit agent.
