Patente de Invenção:<B>"SAL DE POLIFOSFATO DE UM COMPOSTO DE 1,3,5-TRIAZINA COM UM ALTO GRAU DE CONDENSAçãO, UM PROCESSO PARA A SUA PREPARAçãO E USO COMO RETARDADOR DE CHAMA EM COMPOSIçõES DE POLìMEROS"<D>. Sal de um composto de 1,3,5-triazina com ácido polifosfórico, com uma estrutura virtualmente linear, com o grau médio numérico de condensação n sendo maior do que 20, o teor do composto de 1,3,5-triazina sendo maior do que 1,1 mol por mol de átomo de fósforo e o pH de uma pasta fluida a 10% em água sendo maior do que 4,5. Além disso, um processo para a preparação do sal de polifosfato de um composto de 1,3,5-triazina com um grau médio numérico de condensação n que é maior do que 20, por conversão de um composto de 1,3,5-triazina com o ácido ortofosfórico, à temperatura ambiente, no fosfato do composto de 1,3,5-triazina, após o que este sal é convertido, em temperatura elevada, em um polifosfato do composto de 1,3,5-triazina, e adicionalmente composições de polímeros retardadoras de chama compreendendo o sal de polifosfato de um composto de 1,3,5-triazina com um grau médio numérico de condensação n maior do que 20.
