resumo patente de invenção: "método para produção de materiais cerâmicos leves". a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de materiais cerâmicos, em que uma composição bruta cerâmica é misturada com 0,5 a 90% em peso de partículas poliméricas esféricas com um diâmetro no intervalo de 5 µm a 3 mm, com base na soma de composição bruta cerâmica e partículas polimérica, e em que esta mistura é, em seguida, opcionalmente seca e opcionalmente termicamente tratada, bem como refere-se ao uso do referido material cerâmico como material de isolamento térmico, como forro de trabalho ou isolamento interno em altos-fornos ou reatores, na construção de reator como material de suporte para catalisadores, para a construção de vagonetes de fornos túnel, como telhas, como azulejos, como cerâmicas para cozinha ou para a produção de joias.
