Abstract
"POLìMERO EXPANSìVEL DE OLEFINA EM CONTAS, PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DESTE, E, USO DO MESMO". A invenção está relacionada a polimeros expansíveis de olefinas em forma de partículas, contendo um agente de expansão que possui um ponto de ebulição entre 5<198>C e 150<198>C e que é selecionado de um alcano, um alcanol, uma cetona, e um éter ou éster. As partículas não são formadas em espuma e são proporcionadas com uma densidade em massa de mais de 500 g/l. Após um tempo de armazenagem de uma hora na temperatura ambiente e em uma atmosfera livre, as partícula podem ser formadas em espuma de tal modo que as ditas partículas possuem uma densidade em massa de menos de 200 g/l. As partículas são produzidas impregnando grânulos de poliolefina com o agente formador de espuma em suspensão em um recipiente sob pressão, resfriando a preparação até uma temperatura abaixo de 100<198>C e expandindo e separando as partículas.
