Definitions
- the present invention relates to a multilayer structure having a layer made of a resin composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a thermoplastic elastomer, and its use.
- EVOH ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer
- a crystal melting point is 150 to 230 ° C. with respect to 100 parts by weight of a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having an ethylene content of 20 to 50 mol% and a saponification degree of a vinyl acetate part of 90 mol% or more.
- Patent Documents 2 and 3 describe a delamination container using EVOH.
- the delamination container is a type of food and beverage packaging material that can suppress air from entering the container due to the inner layer of the multilayer container peeling and shrinking as the contents decrease. It is.
- Patent Document 2 includes a main body portion that stores contents, and a mouth portion that discharges the contents from the main body portion, and the main body portion and the mouth portion include an outer layer and an inner layer, A laminated peeling container in which the inner layer peels and shrinks from the outer layer as the number of objects decreases, and the inner layer includes a layer having a standard peel strength of 7 to 12 g / 15 mm as an outermost layer. Has been.
- Patent Document 3 is a laminated peeling container that includes an outer layer and an inner layer, and the inner layer peels and shrinks from the outer layer as the content decreases, and the inner layer is made of EVOH resin as the innermost layer.
- a delamination container with an inner EVOH layer is described. According to this, when the innermost layer of the inner layer is an EVOH layer made of EVOH resin, the citrus scent emitted by the citrus seasoning is hardly reduced.
- Patent Document 1 has a description that the impact resistance is improved, there is no description about transparency and flexibility, and there is no description about using the resin composition described in Patent Document 1 as a delamination container. Moreover, although patent document 2 and 3 have description of the lamination peeling container, the peelability was not necessarily enough.
- the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and has excellent gas barrier properties, transparency and flexibility, and has a peelability between a layer composed of a resin composition and a layer composed of a polyolefin having no polar functional group.
- the object is to provide a multilayer structure which is good.
- the present invention provides a multilayer structure shown below and a delamination container comprising the same.
- thermoplastic elastomer (B) is at least one selected from the group consisting of polyester-based thermoplastic elastomers, polystyrene-based thermoplastic elastomers, polyurethane-based thermoplastic elastomers, polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomers, and polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomers.
- the multilayer structure of the present invention includes an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) (hereinafter sometimes abbreviated as “EVOH (A)”) and a thermoplastic elastomer (B). (It may be abbreviated as “the present resin composition”.), And a mass ratio (A / B) of EVOH (A) to thermoplastic elastomer (B) is 65/35. And one side of the layer made of the resin composition is directly adjacent to the layer made of polyolefin (C1) having no polar functional group.
- A ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer
- B thermoplastic elastomer
- This resin composition contains EVOH (A) and a thermoplastic elastomer (B), and the mass ratio (A / B) of EVOH (A) to the thermoplastic elastomer (B) is 65/35 to 95 / 5.
- the mass ratio (A / B) is 65/35 or more, preferably 70/30 or more, and more preferably 75/25.
- the mass ratio (A / B) is less than 65/35, sufficient gas barrier properties and transparency tend not to be obtained.
- the mass ratio (A / B) is less than 65/35, gas barrier properties, transparency and releasability tend to be insufficient.
- mass ratio (A / B) is 95/5 or less, 90/10 or less are preferable and 85/15 or less are more preferable.
- mass ratio (A / B) exceeds 95/5, sufficient flexibility tends not to be obtained.
- the mass ratio (A / B) exceeds 95/5, the flexibility decreases, so there is a pinhole in the resin composition during use. It tends to occur and tends to be unable to maintain stable gas barrier properties.
- the EVOH (A) contained in the present resin composition is not particularly limited, and can be usually obtained by saponifying an ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer. Copolymerization of ethylene and vinyl ester and saponification of ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer can be performed by known methods.
- the vinyl ester is typically vinyl acetate, but other vinyl esters such as fatty acid vinyl esters (vinyl formate, vinyl propionate, vinyl valerate, vinyl caprate, vinyl laurate, vinyl stearate, vinyl pivalate and Versatic vinyl acid etc.) may also be used.
- EVOH (A) can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
- the saponification degree of EVOH (A) is preferably 90 mol% or more, more preferably 95 mol% or more, and further preferably 99 mol% or more.
- the saponification degree of EVOH (A) may be 100 mol% or less or 99.99 mol% or less.
- EVOH (A) having a saponification degree in the above range is preferable because gas barrier properties are improved.
- the saponification degree can be measured by the method described in JIS K 6726 (1994).
- the ethylene unit content of EVOH (A) is preferably 20 mol% or more, more preferably 23 mol% or more, and further preferably 25 mol% or more. An ethylene unit content of 20 mol% or more is preferable because flexibility and melt moldability are improved.
- the ethylene unit content of EVOH (A) is preferably 65 mol% or less, more preferably 55 mol% or less, and even more preferably 50 mol% or less. An ethylene unit content of 65 mol% or less is preferable because gas barrier properties and peelability are improved.
- EVOH (A) may be copolymerized with other monomers in addition to ethylene, vinyl ester and saponified product thereof as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired.
- monomers include ⁇ -olefins such as propylene, 1-butene, 1-hexene, 4-methyl-1-pentene; acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, crotonic acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, itaconic acid Unsaturated acids such as, or anhydrides, salts, mono- or dialkyl esters thereof; Nitriles such as acrylonitrile and methacrylonitrile; Acrylamide, methacrylamide, N- (2-dimethylaminoethyl) methacrylamide, N, N- Amides such as butoxymethylacrylamide or quaternized products thereof; olefin sulfonic acids such as vinyl sulfonic acid, allyl sulfonic acid and methallyl sulfonic acid or salts thereof; vinyl trim
- the content of the other monomer units with respect to all the structural units of EVOH (A) is preferably 30 mol% or less, more preferably 20 mol% or less. 10 mol% or less is more preferable and 5 mol% or less is especially preferable. Moreover, when EVOH (A) has the unit derived from said other monomer, the lower limit may be 0.05 mol% or 0.10 mol%.
- thermoplastic elastomer (B) The thermoplastic elastomer (B) contained in the resin composition is not particularly limited, and polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer, polystyrene-based thermoplastic elastomer, polyurethane-based thermoplastic elastomer, polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomer, polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomer, etc. Can be used. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
- thermoplastic elastomer (B) is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of polyester-based thermoplastic elastomers, polystyrene-based thermoplastic elastomers, and polyurethane-based thermoplastic elastomers. More preferably, it is at least one selected from the group consisting of polyester-based thermoplastic elastomers and polystyrene-based thermoplastic elastomers, and more preferably polyester-based thermoplastic elastomers.
- the thermoplastic elastomer (B) contained in the resin composition is preferably a modified thermoplastic elastomer.
- the modified thermoplastic elastomer is preferably modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, and as the unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, maleic acid, fumaric acid, itaconic acid, maleic anhydride, itaconic anhydride, Examples include maleic acid monomethyl ester, maleic acid monoethyl ester, maleic acid diethyl ester, and fumaric acid monomethyl ester. Among these, a maleic anhydride-modified thermoplastic elastomer is more preferable.
- compatibility with EVOH (A) is enhanced, and gas barrier properties, transparency, flexibility, and peelability are further improved, which is preferable.
- the polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer is a multi-block copolymer comprising polyester as a hard segment in a molecule and polyether or polyester having a low glass transition temperature (Tg) as a soft segment.
- TPEE can be divided into the following types according to the difference in molecular structure, and polyester / polyether type TPEE and polyester / polyester type TPEE dominate.
