Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sensor network using sensing data, and more particularly to a data flow control command generation device, a sensor management device, a data flow control command generation program, and a control command data stream.
- M2M Machine to Machine
- M2M cloud Such an M2M technology realized on a cloud computing environment is called an M2M cloud.
- This provides basic functions required for M2M, such as services such as data collection and storage, processing, and analysis as applications on the cloud, making them available from anywhere. Reliability and completeness can be improved by collective management of data.
- the user has an advantage that the collected data and computer resources can be used as much as necessary. Therefore, it is possible to analyze big data and obtain added value without building a system individually, and applications in a wide range of fields are expected.
- Patent Document 1 a technique called a sensor network has been studied. This is because sensor devices with sensing and communication functions (hereinafter also simply referred to as “sensors”) are installed in various locations and industrial facilities, and networking them to collect, manage, and seamlessly sense data. It can be used.
- sensors sensor devices with sensing and communication functions
- sensors are installed to collect data that the owners themselves need. Therefore, it is often not used except when the owner collects data (the sensor itself is not operating, or sensing data is not used even if the sensor is operating). For this reason, the distribution of sensing data is low, and no matter how meaningful the data is for a third party, the sensor owner himself has only analyzed and used it. As a result, redundant investment of equipment and network congestion due to communication with sensors installed by each person have been invited.
- IoT Internet of Things
- sensing data collected in large quantities all over the world according to their own purposes by forming a sensor network as described above.
- Applicants are further studying the development of sensor networks. For example, processing data on an application server capable of processing big data to create and provide added value, or activating trading of sensing data to bring about an economic effect.
- the owner of the sensor can obtain a price by allowing the data user to temporarily use the sensor or providing sensing data.
- necessary data can be obtained at low cost because investment for installing the sensor is unnecessary.
- the sensor network related to the examination by the applicants is that the data acquired by the machines (mounted on the sensor devices) installed at various locations can be centrally managed and used. It can be said that it is a form that specifically realizes the M2M cloud. If a sensor network based on the M2M cloud is realized, data with various data types, acquisition positions, time, and the like can be grasped and used from anywhere. Therefore, a wide range of applications are expected from industrial fields such as manufacturing sites and logistics, to life fields such as security, medical care and education, and social infrastructure fields such as smart grids and traffic control systems.
- IoT also forms a system for optimizing resources such as time, space, people, things, information, energy, etc. with various granularities. Optimizing means transferring resources from a less necessary part to a higher part or using them in a highly valuable form, such as transferring resources, setting usage rights, paying consideration, etc. Trading takes place. - a sensor network based on the M2M cloud As described above, if a sensor network based on the M2M cloud is realized, a variety of data can be grasped and used in an appropriate form from anywhere, and thus a wide range of applications are expected.
- traffic control systems there are a wide variety of related sensor devices such as vehicles, traffic lights, and cameras installed in various places, so there is a demand for smooth traffic by processing sensing data. strong.
- the problem in the conventional traffic control system especially the traffic jam is examined.
- Traffic jams reduce social productivity due to lost time and waste of fuel, and also cause accidents and deterioration of the surrounding environment.
- the biggest cause of traffic congestion is a traffic bottleneck that reduces traffic. Therefore, the control of the red signal / blue signal change timing and lighting time is important for smooth traffic among the control operations performed by the traffic control system. Traffic lights at intersections are particularly important because they are involved in multiple traffic flows.
- each vehicle In general roads, each vehicle has an individual destination, and there are individual differences in the driver's driving skill and awareness of speed compliance, so the speed and direction of travel vary from vehicle to vehicle. As a result, for example, each vehicle stops at an intersection for a right turn or a left turn, changes lanes, or changes the speed, thereby obstructing the passage of the following vehicle and causing the traffic flow to be delayed.
- traffic signals are usually controlled under police control, and on roads with heavy traffic, one that corresponds to the day of the week or the time zone is selected from among control patterns that are predetermined for each traffic light.
- control patterns that are predetermined for each traffic light.
- it is necessary to control the change timing and lighting time of the green light so that as many vehicles as possible (or the number of people on the vehicle) can pass. .
- the signal control pattern can be flexibly changed according to the actual traffic situation, it is considered that it contributes to smooth traffic.
- PTPS public vehicle priority system
- Patent Document 2 describes a technique when a plurality of members form a group with a plurality of vehicles.
- each vehicle acquires the position of its own vehicle by a GPS (Global Positioning System) device provided in the vehicle, and a mobile phone or the like. Use to send to other vehicles.
- GPS Global Positioning System
- the position of the car belonging to the group is displayed on the map of the car navigation device.
- the members of the group are scheduled to run in a row, such as a company or a hobby companion. From the traffic system side, it is considered that traffic jams can be suppressed more than when vehicles are moved apart. In this way, a plurality of vehicles having the same destination (including intermediate destinations on a travel route) or a route and a traveling time zone travel in a platoon is also important for the driver from the viewpoint of traffic. Is also beneficial.
- the positional relationship between vehicles traveling on the road is important. For example, there may be a case where it is necessary to leave a predetermined distance or more with another vehicle, or there is a case where it is desired to travel within a predetermined range with another vehicle. It is also required to enable such traveling.
- the technology of the present embodiment uses a sensor network to assist in forming a positional relationship between vehicles in a traffic control system, and enables smooth running.
- the vehicle positional relationship formation support control in the present embodiment is a vehicle row formation support that enables preferential treatment when passing traffic lights.

- a sensor network is a network of sensor devices that have a sensing function and a communication function, enabling the collection and use of sensing data. It is assumed that sensing data is provided and compensation is obtained. As a result, it is possible to obtain an advantage of profitability for the owner and inexpensive data acquisition for the user.
- the sensor network server 6 is a server device that mediates such transactions, and the sensor device in the present invention is the smartphone 3.
- the sensor network server 6 stores information on the owner and the sensor device in the data provision contract DB 61 according to the registration from the owner.

However, it is also possible to control the lighting state flexibly according to the actual traffic situation, and when the instruction of the row processing application 71 is met, processing to pass through preferentially is executed. In the figure, the convoy 20A is about to pass under the traffic light 9.
- FIG. 2A is a flowchart showing an outline of processing in the smartphone 3 regarding formation of a vehicle row. This flow starts when the engine of the vehicle 2 starts and starts moving.
- step S101 initial processing is performed. Details of the initial processing are shown in the flow of FIG. 2B.
- step S1011 of FIG. 2B the vehicle application 31 of the smartphone 3 is activated. When connected to the cradle 32 installed on the dashboard of the vehicle 2, it may be automatically activated, which is preferable in terms of power supply. A driver (may be a passenger, the same shall apply hereinafter) may be activated from an icon. As described above, since the vehicle application also serves as the car navigation application, the driver proceeds to receive navigation and activates the application.
- step S1012 the vehicle application 31 communicates with a GPS satellite using the GPS function of the smartphone 3, and acquires the current position of the vehicle 2.
- step S1013 the vehicle application 31 accepts a destination input using an input unit from the driver.
- the driver inputs a destination and requests route guidance by car navigation.
- step S1014 the vehicle application 31 creates a movement plan.
- the travel plan created by the car navigation function includes a travel route connecting the current position to the destination and a guideline for arrival time.
- a scheduled time zone is determined for each section obtained by dividing the travel route at an appropriate scale. This is so that a formation can be formed if at least a part of the travel route matches another vehicle.
- the route can be divided freely, for example, a set of intermediate points and scheduled passage times may be generated, or the entire route is divided into multiple sections using intersections as a guide, and the estimated travel time zone for each section is calculated.
- the information (position, destination) created by the above steps is also called a movement plan (S_DATA), and the function for generating a movement plan is also called a movement plan generation means. Further, each function for acquiring information related to the vehicle, such as a GPS function, is collectively referred to as vehicle information acquisition means.
- step S103 formation formation support processing is performed. Details of this processing are shown in the flow of FIG. 2C.
- the vehicle application 31 transmits the movement plan (S_DATA) and the ID information (S_ID) of the smartphone 3 to the M2M cloud server 5. Furthermore, information that “the smartphone 3 is being connected to the cradle 32” may be transmitted. This is because the server can determine whether the smartphone 3 is installed in the vehicle. In addition, even when it is determined that “not desired” for the row running in step S102, the movement plan and the ID information may be transmitted. Such a vehicle does not affect the platooning, but is effective in providing sensing data to the sensor network.
- step S1032 the vehicular application 31 detects that the vehicle has started running using an acceleration sensor or the like.
- step S1033 the vehicle application 31 acquires and transmits the current position and speed of the vehicle 2. This process is not essential, but is preferable in order to accurately issue a formation formation on the server side.
- step S1035 a message prompting the driver to join the platoon is output. Audio output is desirable when driving. A formation is formed when the driver performs a driving operation according to the command of this step. Once in the platoon, follow the vehicle or continue driving according to the navigation. If the vehicle 2 is the first vehicle in the platoon, the following vehicle participates while driving according to the navigation.
- a command is issued to identify the vehicles included in the platoon and form the platoon so that they are not mixed with other vehicles.
- the method of identifying the vehicle is not limited, and for example, a method of identifying and outputting the voice by time such as “Please track the vehicle that passes your right after 5 seconds” may be used.
- it is preferable to convey appearance characteristics such as vehicle type, color, and size.
- the hazard lamps of vehicles already in the formation may be controlled and transmitted in a blinking pattern.
- a dedicated indicator using an LED or the like may be distributed to a vehicle participating in the sensor network and specified by lighting.
- the vehicle side is notified from the vehicle side that the joining of the formation has been completed.
- position information obtained by each vehicle by GPS is compared, and if it is within a certain distance, the subscription may be completed. Since there are individual differences in driving skills, it is preferable to perform follow-up such as recalculating the driving route or notifying the opportunity to join again when joining the formation fails. It is also possible to set an upper limit on the number of vehicles that can participate in the formation. This is because if the formation is too long, the influence on other vehicles will become too great.
- step S104 row running maintenance processing is performed. Details of this processing are shown in the flow of FIG. 2D.
- the change information for example, an instruction for complying with traffic laws and a driving instruction for accepting a new vehicle can be considered.
- a command by a normal car navigation function for example, a driving change instruction in accordance with traffic jams or traffic regulations is simultaneously performed.
- the preferential treatment in the traffic light as in the present invention is in the middle of maintaining the platooning.
- the vehicle application 31 detects whether or not there is a formation departure trigger.
- the detachment trigger is an event indicating the detachment from the vehicle or from the outside.
- an event from within the vehicle includes an explicit or implicit leave request from the driver.
- the explicit request is a case where the driver makes an intention to leave by voice or the passenger makes a leave operation on the touch panel.
- the implied request is when the destination of the car navigation application is changed or when a driving operation that deviates from the instructed route is performed.
- the event from the outside includes command information when a common route is deviated or when it is determined that it is not suitable as a member of the formation for some reason.
- step S106 Details of step S106 are shown in the flow of FIG. 2E.
- the vehicle application 31 outputs information for transition.
- An instruction method similar to that for normal navigation may be used.
- the driver performs a driving operation for leaving the formation.
- the driver continues traveling alone.
- the platooning is resumed after stopping once for a break or the like.
- the vehicle application 31 appropriately guides the driver in accordance with a command from the server side in cooperation with the car navigation application, thereby burdening the driver more than normal driving. Encourage members to join and leave without hanging.
- the M2M cloud server 5 stores information (S_ID, S_DATA) from the smartphone received via the network 4 in a database (according to current position and movement plan DB 301 in FIG. 3).
- a database accordinging to current position and movement plan DB 301 in FIG. 3.
- the data having the S_ID obtained from the sensor network server 6 that is, the data permitted to be used in the procession processing application 71
- the database is registered or updated as needed by the M2M cloud server 5 based on the communication result with the smartphone 3 installed in the vehicle 2 (corresponding to S1041 in FIG. 2D).
- the server side acquires information (S_ID, S_DATA) transmitted from the smartphone 3 and stores it in the DB 301. Thereby, the formation running generation process is started.
- the server side extracts the formation travel data including the formation of the formation travel group candidate, the formation travel section, and the formation travel time zone.
- the server side extracts the formation travel data including the formation of the formation travel group candidate, the formation travel section, and the formation travel time zone.
- a vehicle group in which at least a part of the travel route overlaps the same time zone is selected, and platoon travel data consisting of a platoon travel section and a set of time zones is extracted. is there.
- the process from generation to disappearance of the process control object is managed for each process data. For example, the convoy travel data k shown in the center of FIG.
- the convoy travel data is information that identifies the extracted vehicle (S_ID), information that identifies a section (section information on the map), and data that is identified by a time zone, and a convoy that travels together for a certain period of time.
- Candidate for When extracting a vehicle group it is preferable to select a vehicle using a travel section (also travel direction) and a time zone as keys. In order to form as many formations as possible, it is better to subdivide the travel route within a range that is not too complicated. Alternatively, in the grouping of vehicles, first, a route section in which a convoy travels may be determined, and vehicles passing through the same time zone may be picked up.
- the process P302 generates a convoy travel control object (1 to N) for each convoy travel data (1 to N) by multi-thread processing of the application server 7. Accordingly, there are as many convoy travel control objects as there are convoys that can be formed in the traffic control system 1. When arriving at the destination and completing the platooning, the platooning control object that controlled the platoon will also disappear.
- the main processes of the convoy travel control object are processes P303 and P304.
- P303 a command (NAVI_MSG in FIG. 1) for platooning control is transmitted to the vehicles (2a to 2n) participating in the platoon.
- the vehicle that has received the command information is driven as shown in the flow of FIG. 2C and FIG.
- P304 a command for requesting a signal operation is transmitted to the signal management device 8.
- This command includes the position information of the target traffic light and the time (PLACE, TIME) for turning on the green light.
- the signal management device transmits a lighting instruction and lighting time of a green signal to the traffic light 9 (SIG_CTRL, TIME).
- SIG_CTRL, TIME traffic light 9
- P303 and P304 work together to pass through the formation preferentially.
- the convoy travel control object obtains information necessary for P303 and P304 with reference to the DB 302 that stores road network data and communication data with the signal management device.
- an upper limit (N3) is set for the number of cars that can participate in the platoon, and the influence on vehicles that do not participate in the sensor network is suppressed.
- N3 an upper limit
- the number of vehicles in the platoon satisfies the preferential conditions, it is also preferable from the viewpoint of maintaining traffic order that a vehicle that does not satisfy the predetermined safety standards is not given the right to pass traffic lights. For example, when the average speed of the platoon exceeds the legal speed, or when a vehicle participating in road shouldering or width adjustment participates.
- E0 indicates that a vehicle group is extracted by the convoy processing application 71 and a convoy travel control object is generated. As a result, the leading vehicle of the platooning is designated, and the leading vehicle enters a single traveling state (S1). Note that the designated leading vehicle need not be particularly aware of it.
- E1 indicates that command information for encouraging participation in the platoon is transmitted to other vehicles included in the group. Thereby, although the formation is formed with a plurality of vehicles, it will be in the state where the conditions which receive preferential treatment with a traffic light are not satisfied (S2). At this time, the number is N2 or more and less than N1. For the candidate vehicles that have not yet participated, the merge command by the event E1 is continuously issued.
- the convoy travel control object may transmit information on convoy participation vehicles and the like to affiliated operators in order to provide a transportation system or economic advantage.
- E2 indicates that the number of vehicles constituting the platoon is N1 or more satisfying the preferential conditions, and the average traveling speed is appropriate. The reason why the average traveling speed is considered here is to promote safe driving as described above.
- the preferential running is executed, and there is a state where there is a joining vehicle to the platoon (S3).
- the convoy travel control object instructs the signal management machine 8 to preferentially pass the convoy (P304 in FIG. 3).
- E3 indicates that the average traveling speed is inappropriate.
- the vehicle is in a convoy travel state in which no preferential treatment is available (S6).
- E4 indicates that the number of vehicles constituting the platoon has reached the upper limit (N3). Thereby, it will be in the state which has continued the preferential driving
- the convoy travel control object does not generate the event E1, but only gives instructions to the traffic light and normal navigation.
- E5 indicates that some of the vehicles constituting the platoon have left. However, if the number of vehicles is still N2 or more, the vehicle remains in the S3 state where it can receive preferential treatment.
- E6 is a case where the number of vehicles no longer satisfies the preferential conditions due to the departure of the vehicle (becomes less than N2), and transitions to the S2 state.
- E7 indicates that the number of vehicles has become a number that cannot maintain the formation (two or less in this embodiment) due to the departure of the vehicle. This event occurs during platooning such as S2, S3, S4. As a result, the formation becomes extinct (S5). E8 indicates that all vehicles have arrived at the destination during platooning. This also causes the formation to disappear (S5). After the formation disappears due to E7 or E8, the formation travel control object disappears. Alternatively, the object may be used as it is, and the leading vehicle for the next platooning may be designated (event E9). In this case, the process proceeds to S1 again.
- the vehicle group forming the convoy 20A to receive preferential treatment proceeds in the direction of the first intersection 501a.
- the signal management device 8 turns the traffic light in the intersection blue.
- the convoy 20A can enter and pass through the intersection without stopping.
- the first intersection 501a and the second intersection 501b may be blue at the same time.
- appropriate control can also be performed by lighting a green light in accordance with the entry timing of the leading vehicle to each intersection. When this control method is used, it is only necessary to change the second intersection 501b to a green signal when the leading vehicle enters the dew removal section 502 and maintain the green signal until the formation passes.
- command information may be sent to vehicles other than the platoon and traffic control may be performed to reduce the number of vehicles traveling in front of the platoon and make it easier to pass on the road.
- the traffic light is controlled so that no other vehicle enters the dew repayment section 502 or the first or second intersection.
- Such processing may be, for example, when there is a large traffic suppression effect due to priority passing because there are many vehicles in the convoy 20A, or vehicles may not pass through at one intersection.
- you may perform this additional measure as a bonus with respect to a vehicle with high social importance, or a person who provides high-value sensing data.
- the application server 7 receives information regarding the current position and the destination from the communication device (also referred to as vehicle information transmission means) of the smartphone 3. Then, the procession processing application 71 creates a movement plan using the computation resources and stores it in the DB 301. After that, as in the above embodiment, the command information is transmitted from the row running control object to each vehicle.
- the communication device also referred to as vehicle information transmission means
- formation formation support is performed as vehicle positional relationship formation support.
- navigation is performed so as to form other positional relationships as command information.
- a target vehicle is placed at a predetermined distance or more from another specific vehicle.
- a vehicle running behind a bus that is a public transport is forced to stop or change lanes when the bus stops at a stop. This delays arrival at the destination, causing stress to the driver and causing traffic stagnation. Therefore, in the command information from the server side, navigation such as “does not enter within 200 m behind the bus on the same lane” is performed. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of the above problems. In this case, it is not always necessary to acquire movement plan information related to vehicles such as buses other than the vehicle to be navigated by communication with the bus or the like. For example, it is possible to generate command information for a navigation target vehicle by referring to a database related to the operation of public vehicles.
- the vehicle group is guided to form a convoy, and is given preferential treatment at the traffic light, and the navigation optimized at any time based on the road network data is performed. In this way, unlike the prior art that has been patterned, the traffic lights are flexibly controlled in accordance with the traffic situation, so that a relatively large number of vehicles can run smoothly.
- the advantages of the sensor network can be enjoyed as they are. That is, effective use of sensors and simple data acquisition. Furthermore, the car navigation application is combined with a function used by many vehicles to perform the platooning process, thereby increasing the amount of sensing data to be traded and increasing the economic activity. Sensor network operators and data users can collect and use highly reliable sensing data. In particular, reliability can be improved by averaging processing and majority logic processing based on data of a plurality of vehicles participating in the group. In addition to the position information and speed information, image information and the like may be obtained to perform sensor fusion processing.
- a sensor for detecting a scratch on a road surface of a road or an illegally parked vehicle can be detected, which is useful for an application that provides such a service.
- obtaining movement plan information for each vehicle can be said to be effective for an application for predicting future traffic jams.
- the owner of the sensor device vehicle or smartphone
- the data sales opportunities increase.
- the vehicle in the present invention is not necessarily a four-wheeled vehicle.
- a group of only two-wheeled vehicles or a group of four-wheeled vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles may be used.
- Bicycles can also be included depending on the speed.
- Emodiment 3 In the present embodiment, a method for performing appropriate data flow control in order to efficiently use information of an object (Thing) connected to a network and constituting an IoT will be described.
- various sensors are assumed as “things”, and information having new value is generated from the obtained sensing data.
- the framework of this embodiment can be applied not only to data distribution on the condition of a usage fee, but also to wider sensing data usage.
- the sensor network server performs data flow control, but the application destination of the present invention is not limited to this.
- each sensor network adapter functions autonomously, and can also use information in cooperation with each other.
- FIG. 6A is a diagram for explaining an example of system components and data flow in the present embodiment.
- main components there are sensors (631A, 631B), a sensor network adapter 63, a sensor network server 6, an application server 7, and a network 4 such as the Internet.
- the sensors (631A, 631B) are devices that detect some physical quantity or its change and record or output it as sensing data.
- the sensor network adapter 63 is physically or electrically connected to the sensor and acquires sensing data. Further, predetermined processing is performed on the sensing data by an information processing device such as a CPU. Moreover, it has a communication function with the outside and can communicate with the application server 7 via the network 4 and with the sensor network server 6.
- a smartphone can be assumed as the sensor network adapter 63, and a position sensor (GPS) and an acceleration sensor can be assumed as the sensors 631A and 631B, respectively.

- the detection process is performed by a method according to the type of sensor or adapter. For example, in a sensor that continuously acquires statistics, the adapter periodically monitors the statistics, and determines that an event has occurred when the value reaches a threshold value or more. Examples include a case where a value equal to or higher than a threshold value is detected in speed detection by a speed sensor used in a vehicle or the like, and a water level detection by a liquid level sensor, or a case where a change in a pixel value exceeding a certain value is detected in an image sensor.
- a change in statistics may be interpreted to determine a state change.
- the “dangerous driving state” is determined when the value detected by the speed sensor exceeds the legal speed, or “water leakage” is determined when the liquid level sensor is greater than or equal to a predetermined level.
- image processing such as person recognition may be performed based on a change in pixel value obtained by the image sensor, and the detection result may be obtained by using information indicating that a person exists or a specified person name.
- the sensor is a switch, it is detected whether it is in an ON / OFF state.
- step S703 the sensor network adapter searches for metadata of an application that matches the metadata of the sensor 631A recorded in the sensor side metadata DB 661. That is, the data flow control command refers to command information for distributing sensing data from an appropriate provider to an appropriate user according to the result of the matching process.
- the former designation method may be the same as the sensor-side event information. In the latter designation method, an IP address or the like can be used as described above.
- the sensor side metadata DB 661 all metadata is registered for each sensor address.
- An example of the data structure is shown in FIG. 12A.

- An example of the data structure is shown in FIG. 12B.
- the DB includes information related to sensing data required by the application and information of the application itself.
- the sensor-side event notification received by the sensor network server 6 is analyzed to acquire a sensor address, and the sensor-side metadata DB 661 is searched using it as a key. Thereby, the information as shown in FIG. 12A is obtained.

Specifically, the sensor and sensing data information is matched with “1. Necessary sensor attribute information” to “5. Necessary sensing data management attribute” in FIG. To do. Even if it does not completely match the requirements on the application side, an error tolerance may be provided so that data is transmitted within a predetermined range.
