Description
(1) 金属板の少なくとも片面に、硬化剤(B)で硬化されたスルホン酸基を含有するポリエステル樹脂(A1)とカーボンブラック(C)とを含んでなる黒色塗膜(α)が2~10μmの厚みで形成されていることを特徴とする、クロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
(2) 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A1)の水酸基価が2~30mgKOH/gであることを特徴とする、(1)に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
(3) 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A1)に含有されたスルホン酸基が、アルカリ金属によって中和されたスルホン酸金属塩基であることを特徴とする、(1)または(2)に記載のクロメートフリー黒色金属板。

使用した金属板の種類を、表1に示す。めっきを施した金属材の基材には、板厚0.5mmの軟鋼板を使用した。SUS板についてはフェライト系ステンレス鋼板(鋼成分:C;0.008質量%、Si;0.07質量%、Mn;0.15質量%、P;0.011質量%、S;0.009質量%、Al;0.067質量%、Cr;17.3質量%、Mo;1.51質量%、N;0.0051質量%、Ti;0.22質量%、残部Fe及び不可避的不純物)を使用した。金属板は表面をアルカリ脱脂処理、水洗乾燥して使用した。
下地処理層を形成するためのコーティング剤は、有機樹脂(表2)、シランカップリング剤(表3)、ポリフェノール化合物(表4)を表5に示す配合量で配合し、塗料用分散機を用いて攪拌することで調整した。上記(1)で準備した金属板の表面に該コーティング剤を100mg/m2の付着量になるようにロールコーターで塗装し、到達板温度70℃の条件で乾燥させることで、必要に応じて下地処理層を形成させた。
黒色塗膜を形成するための黒色塗料は、有機樹脂(表6)、硬化剤(表7)、カーボンブラック(表8)、シリカ(表9)、潤滑剤(表10)を表11に示す配合量で配合し、塗料用分散機を用いて攪拌することで調整した。(2)で形成した下地処理層(下地処理層がない場合は金属板)の上層に、黒色塗料を所定の膜厚になるようにロールコーターで塗装し、所定の到達板焼付温度で加熱乾燥し、黒色塗膜を形成させた。黒色塗膜中におけるカーボンブラック、シリカ、潤滑剤の粒子径は、塗膜の断面をTEMで観察し、各々任意に20箇所の粒子径を測定し、その平均値から求めた。
上記(1)~(3)で作成した黒色金属板の塗膜構成及び黒色塗膜の膜厚、到達板焼付温度を表11に示す。また、カーボンブラック含有量(X質量%)と黒色塗膜の膜厚(Yμm)からもとめられるX×Yの値も表11に示す。特に断りの無い限り表中の%はすべて質量%を意味する。
上記(4)で得られた黒色塗装金属板(試験板)について、平板部の意匠性、耐湿性、耐食性、加工性(加工部の意匠性、加工密着性)、耐傷付き性、耐薬品性を下記に示す評価方法及び評価基準にて評価した。その評価結果を表12に示す。
試験板の外観を下記の評価基準で評価した。
5:黒色、表面艶ともに均一である。下地も全く透けて見えない。
4:黒色は均一であるが、表面艶がやや不均一である(目を凝らして見て何とか確認できるレベル)。下地は全く透けて見えない。
3:黒色、表面艶ともにやや不均一である(目を凝らして見て何とか確認できるレベル)。下地は全く透けて見えない。
2:黒色、表面艶ともに不均一である(容易に確認できるレベル)。下地は全く透けて見えない。
1:黒色、表面艶ともに不均一である(容易に確認できるレベル)。下地がやや透けて見える。
試験板を温度40℃、湿度90%の条件下に500時間静置した後の外観を下記の評価基準で評価した。
5:外観に変化は全く認められない。
4:表面の艶が極僅かに低下した(試験前の試験板を横に並べて何とか分かるレベル)。
3:表面の艶が僅かに低下した(試験前の試験板を横に並べると容易に分かるレベル)。
2:表面の艶が低下した(試験板のみ見て何とか分かるレベル)。
1:表面の艶が著しく低下した(試験板のみ見て容易に分かるレベル)。
試験板の端面をテープシールした後、JIS Z2371に準拠した塩水噴霧試験(SST)を72時間行い、錆発生状況を観察し、下記の評価基準で評価した。
5:錆発生なし。
4:錆発生面積が1%未満。
3:錆発生面積が1%以上、3%未満。
2:錆発生面積が3%以上、5%未満。
1:錆発生面積が5%以上。
試験板に180°折り曲げ加工を施し、折り曲げ部外側の外観を下記の評価基準で評価した。折り曲げ加工は20℃雰囲気中で、0.5mmのスペーサーを間に挟んで実施した(一般に1T曲げと呼ばれる)。
5:塗膜に亀裂等の不具合がなく、均一な黒色外観である。色落ちも認められない。
4:塗膜に極僅かの亀裂が認められため、やや色落ちが認められるが、ほぼ均一な黒色外観である。(試験前の試験板を横に並べて何とか分かるレベル)。
3:塗膜に僅かの亀裂が認められため、やや色落ちが認められるが、ほぼ均一な黒色外観である。(試験前の試験板を横に並べると容易に分かるレベル)。
2:塗膜に亀裂が認められ、色落ちが認められる(試験板のみ見て何とか分かるレベル)。
1:塗膜に亀裂が認められ、色落ちが著しい(試験板のみ見て容易に分かるレベル)。
試験板に180°折り曲げ加工を施した後、折り曲げ加工部外側のテープ剥離試験を実施した。テープ剥離部の外観を下記の評価基準で評価した。なお、折り曲げ加工は20℃雰囲気中で、0.5mmのスペーサーを間に挟んで実施した(一般に1T曲げと呼ばれる)。
5:塗膜に剥離は認められない。
4:極一部の塗膜に剥離が認められる(ルーペで観察して何とか分かる程度)。
3:一部の塗膜に剥離が認められる(ルーペで観察して分かる程度)。
2:部分的な塗膜に剥離が認められる(目視で容易に分かる程度)。
1:ほとんどの塗膜に剥離が認められる(目視で容易に分かる程度)。
試験板に45°の角度で鉛筆芯で5回線を引き、2回以上傷が入らない鉛筆硬度で評価した。鉛筆は三菱鉛筆社製のユニ鉛筆を使用し、20℃、4.903N(500gf)の荷重条件にて試験し、下記の評価基準で評価した。
5:鉛筆硬度が3H以上
4:鉛筆硬度が2H
3:鉛筆硬度がH
2:鉛筆硬度がF
1:鉛筆硬度がHB以下
試験板をラビングテスターに設置後、エタノールを含浸させた脱脂綿を49.03kPa(0.5kgf/cm2)の荷重で10往復擦った後の皮膜状態を下記の評価基準で評価した。
5:擦り面に全く跡が付かない。
4:擦り面に極僅かに跡が付く(目を凝らして何とか擦り跡が判別できるレベル)。
3:擦り面に僅かに跡が付く(目を凝らすと容易に擦り跡が判別できるレベル)。
2:擦り面に明確な跡が付く(瞬時に擦り跡が判別できるレベル)。
1:擦り面で塗膜が溶解し、下地が露出する。
Claims (20)
- 金属板の少なくとも片面に、硬化剤(B)で硬化されたスルホン酸基を含有するポリエステル樹脂(A1)とカーボンブラック(C)とを含んでなる黒色塗膜(α)が2~10μmの厚みで形成されていることを特徴とする、クロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A1)の水酸基価が2~30mgKOH/gであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A1)に含有されたスルホン酸基が、アルカリ金属によって中和されたスルホン酸金属塩基であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のクロメートフリー黒色金属板。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A1)のガラス転移温度が5~50℃であることを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A1)のガラス転移温度が5~25℃であることを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A1)の数平均分子量が8000~25000であることを特徴とする、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A1)骨格中にウレタン結合を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)が、アクリル樹脂(A2)を更に含有することを特徴とする、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)が、カルボキシル基を含有するポリウレタン樹脂(A3)を更に含有することを特徴とする、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記ポリウレタン樹脂(A3)がウレア基を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記硬化剤(B)が、メラミン樹脂(B1)を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記カーボンブラック(C)の前記黒色塗膜(α)中の含有量をX質量%、前記黒色塗膜(α)の厚みをYμmとしたとき、X×Y≧20、且つ、X≦15を満足することを特徴とする、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)中に前記カーボンブラック(C)が数平均粒子径20~300nmの粒子で分散されていることを特徴とする、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)が、シリカ(D)を更に含有することを特徴とする、請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)中に前記シリカ(D)が数平均粒子径5~50nmの粒子で分散されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)が、潤滑剤(E)を更に含有することを特徴とする、請求項1~15のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記潤滑剤(E)がポリエチレン樹脂粒子であることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)中に前記ポリエチレン樹脂粒子が数平均粒子径0.5~2μmの粒子で分散されていることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)の下層に下地処理層(β)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1~18のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
- 前記黒色塗膜(α)がスルホン酸基を含有するポリエステル樹脂(A1)と硬化剤(B)とカーボンブラック(C)とを含む水系黒色塗料を塗布、加熱乾燥することで形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1~19のいずれか1項に記載のクロメートフリー黒色塗装金属板。
