Abstract

 本発明は、簡易な構成で確実に主軸の倒れを検出することなどが可能な主軸倒れ検出装置及びこれを備えた工作機械を提供することを目的とする。そのため、工作機械(21)の門形ブリッジ(24)の各コラム(32A,32B)にそれぞれ、主軸倒れ検出装置(41A,41B)を設ける。各主軸倒れ検出装置は、各コラム(補強材(32b))に上端が取り付けられ、且つ、下端に錘(45)が取り付けられて鉛直に垂れ下がった紐(43)と、紐に取り付けられて各コラムの前面板(32a)までの距離を計測するギャップセンサ(44)と、オイルダンパ(46)とを備えた構成とする。また、工作機械に備えた主軸倒れ修正制御装置では、各ギャップセンサの計測距離の平均値に基づき、各コラムの後面板(32d)に貼り付けた各ペルチェ素子(42A,42B)を制御して各コラムの熱変形を修正することにより、各コラムの熱変形による主軸(28)の倒れを修正する。
