I.　引言

II.　系統概述

III.　觀眾計量及參與

最初，該方法200以操作205開始，其中該電視接收器101接收視聽內容及與該內容相關聯之資料。該資料(其可係後設資料)可由該電視接收器使用以結合該視聽內容建構用於顯示之一矩陣碼。在操作210中，該接收器可獲得時間資料。通常，此時間資料係待顯示該視聽內容或接收其時之時間(假設在與接收該內容實質上相同的時間顯示該內容)。
在操作215中，該電視接收器可自在操作205中接收之資料及在操作210中擷取之該時間資料產生一矩陣碼。因此，該矩陣碼通常包含該時間資料，但在一些實施例中可省略該矩陣碼。該矩陣碼亦可包含識別該視聽內容及/或一觀看者/使用者/接收者之資料(諸如一接收者號碼或訂戶號碼)。在一些實施例中，也可包含識別該觀看者/接收者位於其中之一區域之地理資料。若省略資料，則可跳過操作210。
在操作220中，該電視接收器接收待顯示該矩陣碼之一指示符。因此，在操作225中，該接收器輸出該矩陣碼及視聽內容。通常，該矩陣碼及內容一起被輸出，但在一些實施例中該矩陣碼及內容可連續輸出用於顯示。亦應瞭解，操作205至225可重複多次使得可產生且在適當時間輸出多個矩陣碼(每一者具有不同時間資料)。因此，當繼續顯示該視聽內容時，同樣可顯示一系列矩陣碼，該等矩陣碼之每一者與整個內容之一區段相關。
在操作230中，該讀取器裝置103可自相關聯顯示器102獲取該矩陣碼。可解譯該矩陣碼且由該讀取器裝置處理該矩陣碼中之資料，之後在操作235中可將儲存在該矩陣碼中之資料之至少一部分傳輸至該監視方104。(因為該矩陣碼中之該資料之部分通常係一網站位址或建立至該監視方104之一傳輸鏈路之其他方式，所以該矩陣碼資料之此部分可省略且不傳輸至該監視方)。在操作235中傳輸之該資料通常(但不必要)包含該時間資料。傳輸的資料亦可包含地理資料、識別內容之資料、識別一使用者或接收者之資料及類似項。此外，若此資訊不包含在該矩陣碼中，該讀取器裝置103可將此資訊增加至該傳輸資料。
在操作240中，該監視方104可接收來自該接收裝置103之資料。接著，在操作245中，該監視方可處理該資料且相應登記該觀看者之參與/投票/偏好/輸入。
IV.　重播監視
如上文闡述，實施例可接收與視聽內容之接收相關聯或作為其之部分之一矩陣碼。在一些情況中，該視聽內容可經儲存用於稍後觀看或互動。當儲存內容時，同樣可儲存相關聯矩陣碼(或用於產生一矩陣碼之資料)。
在播放所儲存的視聽內容時，更新該相關聯矩陣碼中之時間資料可係有用的。舉例而言，判定一使用者投票或以其它方式參與一互動觀眾計量工作階段之日期是否超過參與截止日期可係有用的。此可藉由用播放所儲存的內容之時間/日期來更新與該矩陣碼相關聯(或收錄在該矩陣碼中)之該時間資料來完成。因此，經由該讀取器裝置103發送至該監視方之該資訊可反應播放日期，而不是記錄或接收日期。此允許該監視方以其所要之任何方式使用該時間資料。作為一實例，若該時間資料比一截止日期或時間更晚，則可忽略與該時間資料一起傳輸之觀眾參與資訊。作為另一選項，可加權觀眾參與資訊，使得可由該監視方104較多或較少考慮在一特定時間獲取之資訊(如由該時間資料指示)。作為又另一實例，類似於用於判定電視節目之觀眾規模及組成之NIELSEN觀眾測量系統，該觀眾參與資訊可係觀看何種視聽內容且該視聽內容由誰觀看之一指示。藉由包含該矩陣碼中之時間資料(且因此最終將此時間資料傳輸至該監視方)，可判定在儲存視聽內容之後多長時間觀看該內容。
其他實施例可使用時間資料以開啟或關閉用於觀看者之機會之窗且藉由轉播顯示在顯示器上之一矩陣碼而允許觀看者參與此等窗。作為一實例，一項目可在比一實況直播之持續時間更長之一特定時期內廉價銷售。若一觀看者獲取在該內容之重播期間且在該時期內展示之該矩陣碼，則其可有資格享受該折扣。此資格可透過該矩陣碼中之該時間資料來追蹤。類似方法可用於競賽、獲獎資格等等。
在替代實施例中，該電視接收器101可省略來自其產生用於顯示之任何矩陣碼之時間資料。代替地，該接收器101可包含指示一段特定視聽內容已重播多少次之一計數器。獲取該矩陣碼且將該矩陣碼傳輸至一監視方之一使用者因此可指示已觀看該內容之次數。此在判定一觀看者之愛好及/或偏好中可係有用的。在判定一使用者回應於一矩陣碼啟用之要約花費多久(例如，多少次重播)中亦可係有用的。一些實施例可在一單一矩陣碼中包含時間資訊與用於視聽內容之一計數器兩者。
一般而言，接著，在播放所儲存的視聽內容時修改一矩陣碼可係有用的。圖3描繪用於此修改之一取樣方法。該方法300以操作305開始，其中由該電視接收器101接收一重播命令。通常，由一使用者啟始此一命令。接著，在操作310中，該電視接收器101再試當前時間及/或日期資訊。
在操作315中，該電視接收器101判定一矩陣碼是否存在於儲存之該視聽內容中。即，該接收器判定該矩陣碼是否是視訊信號之一部分或是否重疊在一視訊信號上。若該矩陣碼不是該視訊信號之一部分，則該電視接收器可執行操作320且自後設資料或連同該視聽內容儲存或相關聯的其他資料產生一矩陣碼，該矩陣碼具有時間及/或重播計數器資料。操作320之後，該過程繼續操作340，如下文描述。
若該矩陣碼包含在該視聽內容中，則執行操作325。在操作325中，該電視接收器判定是否可修改該矩陣碼。舉例而言，若可自該視訊剝離該矩陣碼或可產生放置在該矩陣碼之全部或部分頂部上之一重疊物(若需要)，則可修改該矩陣碼。若不可修改該矩陣碼，則在操作330中顯示原始未經修改矩陣碼連同該視聽內容。
若可修改該矩陣碼，則在操作335中可利用時間及/或重播計數器資料來更新該矩陣碼。接著，在操作340中，顯示更新的碼連同該視聽內容。
操作330或340之後，該過程在結束狀態345中結束。
含有時間及/或重播資料之該矩陣碼可由一讀取器裝置103獲取且適當時在操作330或340期間如上文描述傳輸至一監視方。
V.　結論
雖然已參考特定實體結構、方法或操作及資料結構描述前述內容，但應瞭解此等之任一者之代替存在且在本發明之範圍內。作為一實例，可使用一線性條碼取代一矩陣碼。作為另一實例，關於多個獲取矩陣碼之資料可由該讀取器裝置103儲存且以一叢發方式(而不是連續)傳輸且獲取。因此，在隨附申請專利範圍中傳輸合適保護範圍。

Claims (18)

  1. 一種用於觀眾計量之方法，該方法包括：在一電子裝置處接收視聽內容；在該電子裝置處接收關於該視聽內容之資料；判定顯示該內容之一時間；藉由該電子裝置自關於該視聽內容之該資料及包含顯示該內容之該時間之資料產生一矩陣碼；及顯示重疊在該視聽內容上之該矩陣碼。
  2. 如請求項1之方法，其中該時間係接收該視聽內容之一時間。
  3. 如請求項1之方法，其中該時間進一步包含該視聽內容被傳輸至該電子裝置之一時間。

  7. 一種用於追蹤視聽內容觀看習慣之方法，該方法包括：在一電子裝置處接收該視聽內容；在該電子裝置處接收關於該視聽內容之資料；在該電子裝置處數位化儲存該視聽內容；在該電子裝置處接收用以播放該儲存的視聽內容之一 命令；回應於該命令，判定該內容將由該電子裝置顯示之一時間；藉由該電子裝置產生含有一資料組之一矩陣碼，該資料組包含關於該視聽內容之該資料及該時間；及將該矩陣碼輸出至用於顯示之一顯示裝置；其中由一監視方使用該矩陣碼及該資料組之至少一者以判定重播該視聽內容之時間。
  8. 如請求項7之方法，其進一步包括：自該監視方接收用以顯示該矩陣碼之一遠端命令；及回應於該遠端命令，實行將該矩陣碼輸出至用於顯示之一顯示裝置之操作。
  9. 一種用於追蹤內容觀看之方法，該方法包括：橫跨一第一網路將內容傳輸至一接收器；橫跨一第二網路接收與該內容相關聯之一矩陣碼；處理該矩陣碼以獲得與該內容相關聯之一時間及一識別符；使用該時間及識別符以追蹤該內容之觀看；及藉由該接收器產生併入觀看該內容之一時間之一額外矩陣碼。

  16. 如請求項15之方法，其進一步包含以下操作：彙總該投票與自複數個矩陣碼提取之複數個投票；及基於該投票及該複數個投票判定一獲勝者。
  17. 如請求項9之方法，其進一步包含以下操作：使該時間與一要約相關聯；及傳輸該要約至該接收器。
  18. 如請求項9之方法，其中該資料建構係自一智慧型電話接收之一資料傳輸。
