Abstract
1. Способ подачи медикамента из картриджа, имеющего резервуар, определяющий общий заполненный объем, и плунжер, при этом способ включает в себя:проталкивание плунжера для управляемой подачи из резервуара с медикаментом в соответствии с сохраненным профилем подачи, который включает в себя множество доз, в течение периода времени несколько часов, количества медикамента, составляющего 0,1% или меньше от общего количества заполненного объема резервуара и с точностью одиночной дозы лучше, чем ±20%;при этом точность одой дозы получают после периода подачи меньше, чем восемь часов, в течение которого плунжер проталкивают в соответствии с сохраненным профилем подачи.2. Способ по п.1, в котором точность одиночной дозы лучше, чем ±10%.3. Способ по п.1, в котором период подачи составляет шесть часов или меньше.4. Claims (25)
1. Способ подачи медикамента из картриджа, имеющего резервуар, определяющий общий заполненный объем, и плунжер, при этом способ включает в себя:
проталкивание плунжера для управляемой подачи из резервуара с медикаментом в соответствии с сохраненным профилем подачи, который включает в себя множество доз, в течение периода времени несколько часов, количества медикамента, составляющего 0,1% или меньше от общего количества заполненного объема резервуара и с точностью одиночной дозы лучше, чем ±20%;
при этом точность одой дозы получают после периода подачи меньше, чем восемь часов, в течение которого плунжер проталкивают в соответствии с сохраненным профилем подачи.
2. Способ по п.1, в котором точность одиночной дозы лучше, чем ±10%.
3. Способ по п.1, в котором период подачи составляет шесть часов или меньше.
4. Способ по п.1, в котором медикамент представляет собой инсулин, содержащий больше чем 100 международных единиц активности инсулина на 1,0 куб. см.
5. Способ по п.1, в котором медикамент представляет собой инсулин, содержащий 500 международных единиц активности инсулина на 1,0 куб. см.
6. Способ по п.1, в котором этап выталкивания содержит проталкивание плунжера для управляемой подачи из резервуара с медикаментом количества медикамента, составляющего 0,1% или меньше от общего заполненного объема меньше, чем через две секунды.
7. Способ по п.6, в котором количество составляет 0,23-0,27 мкл.
8. Картридж с медикаментом для инфузионного насоса, включающего в себя толкатель плунжера, при этом картридж содержит цилиндр, определяющий резервуар; и плунжер, расположенный в цилиндре и не имеющий структуры, которая позволила бы толкателю плунжера вытягивать плунжер.
9. Картридж с медикаментом по п.8, в котором осевое движение плунжера сдерживается управляемым трением о цилиндр.
10. Картридж с медикаментом по п.9, в котором управляемое трение составляет от 4,4 до 66 Н.
11. Картридж с медикаментом по п.8, в котором плунжер не включает в себя соединитель, выполненный с возможностью соединения с соответствующим соединителем на толкателе и не включает в себя резьбу, выполненную с возможностью соединения с соответствующей резьбой на толкателе.
12. Способ работы инфузионного устройства, включающего в себя цилиндр, определяющий резервуар с медикаментом, плунжер с, по меньшей мере, одним уплотнителем в цилиндре, причем между цилиндром и плунжером присутствует статическое и динамическое трение, толкатель плунжера и электродвигатель, осуществляющий привод толкателя плунжера путем приложения крутящего момента, при этом способ включает в себя:
осуществление перемещения толкателя относительно плунжера с помощью электродвигателя; и
управление крутящим моментом электродвигателя таким образом, что крутящий момент постоянно находится в пределах диапазона, имеющего нижний предел, который достаточен для преодоления силы отрыва картриджа и движущей силы для перемещения плунжера, и верхний предел, который является достаточно низким, чтобы не привести к утечке за пределы уплотнителя плунжера из-за чрезмерного давления в резервуаре.
13. Способ по п.12, в котором инфузионное устройство включает в себя источник постоянного тока, а электродвигатель включает в себя катушки, при этом этап управления крутящим моментом электродвигателя включает в себя ограничение тока, прикладываемого к катушкам электродвигателя с помощью источника постоянного тока.
14. Способ по п.12, в котором инфузионное устройство включает в себя источник постоянного напряжения, а электродвигатель включает в себя катушки, при этом этап управления крутящим моментом электродвигателя включает в себя ограничение тока, прикладываемого к катушкам электродвигателя с помощью источника постоянного напряжения.
15. Способ по п.14, в котором этап ограничения тока включает в себя управление широтно-импульсной модуляцией для катушек электродвигателя.
16. Способ по п.12, в котором инфузионное устройство включает в себя электронный привод, при этом этап управления крутящим моментом электродвигателя содержит управление крутящим моментом электродвигателя с помощью электронного привода.
17. Способ по п.12, в котором инфузионное устройство включает в себя аккумуляторную батарею, при этом этап привода в движение толкателя включает в себя приложение энергии от аккумуляторной батареи к электродвигателю, а этап управления крутящим моментом электродвигателя включает в себя широтно-импульсную модуляцию энергии, прикладываемой от аккумуляторной батареи к электродвигателю.
18. Способ по п.12, в котором инфузионное устройство включает в себя цифро-аналоговый преобразователь, при этом этап управления крутящим моментом электродвигателя включает в себя управление напряжением на основе цифро-аналогового преобразователя.
19. Способ по п.12, в котором инфузионное устройство включает в себя цифровой потенциометр, при этом этап управления крутящим моментом электродвигателя включает в себя управление напряжением на основе цифрового потенциометра.
20. Способ по п.12, в котором диапазон находится от 1 до 20 мНм.
21. Способ работы инфузионного насоса, предназначенного для применения с узлом инфузионного насоса и включающего в себя толкатель плунжера и картридж с медикаментом, включающий в себя резервуар и плунжер, который имеет сухую сторону и выходной порт, при этом способ включает в себя:
перемещение толкателя плунжера при закрытом выходном порте таким образом, что толкатель плунжера входит в контакт с сухой стороной плунжера; и
в ответ на определение того, что толкатель плунжера вошел в контакт с плунжером, включение обратного направления привода электродвигателя для отвода толкателя плунжера на заданное расстояние от сухой стороны плунжера, как часть процедуры установки в ноль толкателя плунжера.
22. Способ по п.21, в котором этап перемещения толкателя плунжера содержит перемещение толкателя плунжера с первой скоростью и затем со второй более медленной скоростью до тех пор, пока толкатель плунжера не войдет в контакт с плунжером.
23. Способ по п.21, в котором узел инфузионного насоса включает в себя электродвигатель, кодер и контроллер, при этом способ дополнительно содержит следующий этап, на котором определяют, что толкатель плунжера вошел в контакт с плунжером, в ответ на сигнал кодера, который обозначает, что электродвигатель не вращается, в то время как электродвигатель принимает сигнал привода от контроллера узла инфузионного насоса.
24. Способ по п.21, в котором картридж с медикаментом включает в себя резервуар с медикаментом и, по меньшей мере, один из узла инфузионного насоса, причем картридж с медикаментом включает в себя датчик давления, сообщающийся по текучей среде с резервуаром с медикаментом, при этом способ дополнительно содержит этап, на котором определяют, что толкатель плунжера вошел в контакт с плунжером в ответ на сигнал от датчика давления.
