Abstract
Se describe una clase de compuestos metaloceno que tienen dos anillos ciclopentadienilo en puente con un grupo alquilideno. Estos compuestos metaloceno pueden ser utilizados adecuadamente como componentes del catalizador para la polimerizacion de olefinas. En particular, por la polimerizacion de propileno en presencia de un catalizador basado en estos compuestos metaloceno, los polímeros tienen índices isotácticos muy altos, pesos moleculares elevados y distribuciones de pesos moleculares estrechas que pueden ser obtenidas en altos rendimientos.
