Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con derivados de N-hidroxisulfonamida que dona nitroxilo (HNO) bajo condiciones fisiológicas y son utilies en el tratamiento y/o prevención del inicio y/o desarrollo de enferemedades o condiciones que son responsivas a 'la terapia de nitroxilo, incluyendo isuficiencia cardíaca y lesión por isquemia/repercusión. Derivados de N-hidroxilsulfonamida nuevos liberan NHO en un índice controlado bajo condiciones fisiologicas, y el índice de liberación de HNO es modulado variando la naturaleza y ubicación de grupos funcionales en los derivados de N-hidroxisulfonamida.
