Abstract

Η εφεύρεση σχετίζεται με παράγωγα N-υδροξυσουλφοναμιδίου που δωρίζουν νιτροξύλιο (ΗΝΟ) υπό φυσιολογικές συνθήκες και είναι χρήσιμα στη θεραπευτική αντιμετώπιση ή/και πρόληψη της έναρξης ή/και ανάπτυξης νόσων ή παθήσεων που ανταποκρίνονται στη θεραπεία με νιτροξύλιο, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της καρδιακής ανεπάρκειας ή/και της βλάβης από ισχαιμία/επαναιμάτωση. Τα καινοτόμα παράγωγα N-υδροξυσουλφοναμιδίου, αποδεσμεύουν ΝΗΟ με ελεγχόμενο ρυθμό υπό φυσιολογικές συνθήκες και ο ρυθμός αποδέσμευσης ΗΝΟ ρυθμίζεται διαφοροποιώντας τη φύση και τη θέση των λειτουργικών ομάδων στα παράγωγα N-υδροξυσουλφοναμιδίου.
