Abstract
본 발명의 목적은 디지털 오디오 신호 및 음악/악기 신호와 같은 실시간 디지털 신호를 입력 또는 출력하기 위한 장비에서 단자수를 감소시키는 것이다. 제1 변환기 및 제2 변환기는 디지털 오디어 인터페이스의 신호 포맷과 IEEE-1394의 신호 포맷간의 상호 변환 기능을 구비하고 있다. 예를 들면, 제1 CD 플레이어로부터 제1 변환기로 출력된 디지털 오디오 인터페이스의 신호를 전송하여, 이 신호를 여기서 IEEE-1394 등시성 전송 포맷으로 변환하고 이를 제2 변환기로 전송하는 것이 가능하며, 그리고 패킷을 디지털 오디오 인터페이스로 복원하여 디지털 오디오 신호를 MD 레코더에 기록하는 것이 가능하다. 미디 신호 포맷과 IEEE-1394 신호 포맷간 상호 변환 기능을 갖는 변환기가 제공될 때, 복수의 미디 악기간에 양방향 데이터 통신을 수행하는 것이 또한 가능하다.

Claims (10)
- 디지털 데이터를 일방향으로 전송하기 위한 인터페이스의 포맷이 양방향으로 디지털 데이터를 전송하기 위한 인터페이스의 등시성(isochronous)전송 포맷 또는 비동기 전송 포맷으로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 디지털 데이터는 음악/악기 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 음악/악기 신호는 오디오/비디오 장비용의 비동기 전송 포맷으로 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 일방향으로 디지털 데이터를 전송하기 위한 인터페이스 또는 상기 인터페이스가 구비된 장치에 접속된 또 다른 인터페이스에 의해 전송된 제어 신호는 양방향으로 디지털 데이터를 전송하기 위한 인터페이스의 비동기 전송 포맷으로 변환되어, 등시성 전송 포맷의 디지털 데이터와 함께 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 디지털 데이터는 디지털 오디어 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 동시성 전송 포맷의 패킷에 속하는 헤더는 복수 형태의 디지털 형태에 공통이 되게 만들어 진 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 헤더에는 복수 형태의 디지털 데이터에 대해 등시성 전송 사이클과 함께 비동기 적으로 전송하는 모드로부터 상기 등시성 전송 사이클에 동기하여 전소하는 모드를 식별하는 식별 코드가 갖추어 진 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 형태의 디지털 데이터를 식별하는 식별 코드는 동시성 전송 포맷의 데이터에 부가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 일방향으로 디지털 데이터를 전송하기 위한 인터페이스의 동기 신호를 비트 압축함으로써, 양방향으로 디지털 데이터를 전송하기 위한 인터페이스의 등시성 전송의 헤더에 상기 신호를 취하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 일방향으로 디지털 데이터를 전송하기 위한 인터페이스의 등기성 전송 포맷 내의 데이터 블록의 크기는 일방향으로 디지털 데이터를 전송하기 위한 인터페이스의 샘플링 주파수에 무관하게 공통으로 되게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
