Abstract
(a) 초산, (b) 이리듐 촉매, (c) 요오도화 메틸, (d) 일정 농도이상의 물 및 (e) 메틸 아세테이트를 함유하는 액체 반응 조성물중에 메탄올 또는 그의 반응성 유도체를 일산화탄소와 접촉시킴으로써 메탄올 또는 그의 반응성 유도체를 카르보닐화시켜 초산을 제조하는 방법이 촉진제로서 루테늄과 오스뮴중 하나 이상의 것을 사용함으로써 개선되었다.

Claims (16)
- 카르보닐화 반응기내에서 액체 반응 조성물중에 메탄올 또는 그의 반응성 유도체를 일산화탄소와 접촉시키는 것으로 구성된 메탄올 또는 그의 반응성 유도체의 카르보닐화에 의한 초산의 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 액체 반응 조성물이 (a) 초산, (b) 이리듐 촉매, (c) 요오도화 메틸, (d) 일정 농도이상의 물, (e) 메틸 아세테이트 및 (f) 촉진제로서 루테늄과 오스뮴중 하나 이상의 것을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 초산의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반응기의 일산화탄소 부분압이 15bar 미만인 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 촉진제 대 이리듐의 몰비가 0.1:1 내지 15:1인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 촉진제가 루테늄인 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 액체 반응 조성물이 100 내지 6000중량ppm의 이리듐을 함유하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 촉진제 대 이리듐의 몰비가 0.1:1 내지 15:1인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 촉진제가 루테늄인 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 액체 반응 조성물이 0.1 내지 15중량%의 물을 함유하는 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 액체 반응 조성물이 1 내지 20중량%의 요오드화 메틸을 함유하는 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 액체 반응 조성물이 1 내지 70중량%의 메틸 아세테이트를 함유하는 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 액체 반응 조성물이 100 내지 6000ppm의 이리둠, 0.1 내지 15중량%의 물, 1 내지 20중량%의 요오드화 메틸 및 1 내지 70중량%의 메틸 아세테이트를 함유하는 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 촉진제 대 이리듐의 몰비가 0.1:1 내지 15:1인 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 촉진제가 루테늄인 방법.
- 일정농도이상의 물의 존재하에 메탄올 또는 그의 반응성 유도체를 카르보닐화시킴으로써 초산을 제조할 수 있는 (a) 이리듐 촉매, (b) 요오드화 메틸 및 (c) 루테늄과 오스뮴중 하나 이상의 촉진제를 함유하는 촉매계.
- 제14항에 있어서, 촉진제 대 이리듐의 몰비가 0.1:1 내지 15:1인 촉매계.
