광파이버용 모재의 제조방법

제1도는 본 발명의 일실시 태양에 있어서의 2개의 버어너구조 및 화염에 의한 가열영역의 설명도.
제2도는 본 발명의 실시예(● 표) 및 비교예(○ 표)에 있어서의 원료투입량(SiO2환산, g/분)과 다공질 유리모재에의 유리미립자 부착효율(수율, %)의 관계를 도시한 그래프.
제3도 및 제4도는 다공질 유리모재의 반경방향에 있어서의 부피밀도분포(g/cm3)를 나타내고, 제3도는 본 발명에 의한 실시예의 그래프, 제4도는 종래법에 의한 비교예의 그래프.

Claims (4)

  1. 기체의 유리원료를 연소버어너로부터 분출시켜서, 화염가수분해 하고, 이것에 의해서 생성하는 입자유리를 회전하는 출발재에 퇴적시켜, 다공질 유리모재를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 중심부 버어너에 흐르게하는 유리원료로서는 SicL4를 사용하고, 연소버어너를 2개이상 사용할 경우에, 중심으로부터 2개째이후의 버어너에 흐르게하는 유리원료로서, SiCl4보다도 반응열이 높은 Si의 수소화합물을 사용해서, 다공질 유리모재를 제조하는 것을 특징으로하는 광파이버용 모재의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, SiCl4보다도 반응열이 높은 Si의 수소화합물로서, SiHCl3, SiH2Cl2또는 SiH4를 사용하는 것을 특징으로하는 광파이버용 모재의 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, SiCl4보다도 반응열이 높은 Si의 수소화합물로서, SiCl4, SiHCl3, SiH2Cl2및 SiH4로 이루어진 군중에서 적어도 2개이상의 화합물을 혼합해서 사용하는 것을 특징으로하는 광파이버용 모재의 제조방법.
  4. 제1∼3항의 어느 한항에 있어서, 중심버어너가 주위보다 굴절율이 높은 코어부를 형성하고, 2개째 이후의 버어너가 크래드부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로하는 광파이버용 모재의 제조방법.
