광파이버용 프리포옴의 제어방법

제1도는 유리 미립자의 표면온도(℃)와, 그때의 유리원료 SiO2에 고용(固溶)하는 GeO2량의 관계(몰%)를 나타내는 그래프
제4도는 본 명명의 실시예 1에 있어서의 다중관 버어너에의 원료가스의 투입방법을 모식적으로 표서한 도면.
제6도는 본 명명에 있어서의 유리원료 배치가 이루어진 예를 모식적으로 표시한예

Claims (3)

  1. 유리 원료 및 연소가스를 버어너 내에서 혼합연소시켜서, 유리미립자를 적층시키고, 그후 이것을 소결 투명화하여, 광파이버용 프리포옴을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 유리 원료로서 다중관버어너 중심부에 SiCl4를 그 외층에 SiCl4보다도 반응열이 높은 Si의 수소화합물을 흐르게함으로서, 다공질 유리모재 외주부의 부피밀도를 제어하면서, 유리미립자를 적층시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파이버용 프리포옴의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, SiCl4의 외층에 흐르는 Si의 수소화합물을, SiHCl3또는 SiH4로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파이버용 프리포옴의 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 유리원료로서, 버어너 중심부에 SiCl4, 그 외층에 SiHCl3, 또 그 외층에 SiH4를 흘리는 것을 특징으로 하는 광파이버용 프리포옴의 제조방법.
