Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 복수의 발광 소자가 배열되어 이루어지는 발광 소자 어레이와,상기 발광 소자 어레이를 공통적으로 둘러싸는 격벽을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 격벽은 그 형상이 상기 각 발광 소자의 형상에 따르도록 하여 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 발광 소자는 액체 프로세스에 의해 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 발광 소자는 복수개의 화소 전극과 상기 복수개의 화소 전극 각각에 대향 배치되는 공통 전극 사이에 적어도 발광층을 포함하는 기능층을 형성함으로써 형성되고,상기 발광층은 유기 재료로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 각 발광 소자는 지그재그 형상으로 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 기능층의 전기 저항값은, 상기 복수의 화소 전극 사이에 배치된 상기 기능층의 전기 저항값이 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 사이에 삽입되는 영역에 배치된 상기 기능층의 전기 저항값에 비하여 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 기능층은 유기 도전성층을 구비하고,상기 복수의 화소 전극 사이에 배치된 상기 유기 도전성층의 전기 저항값은, 상기 복수의 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 사이에 삽입되는 영역에 배치된 상기 유기 도전성층의 전기 저항값에 비하여 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 유기 도전성층은 폴리에틸렌디옥시티오펜을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 유기 도전성층은 폴리아닐린을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 발광 소자 어레이는 감광체 위에 선택적으로 광을 조사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 복수의 화소 전극을 형성하는 공정과,상기 복수의 화소 전극 전체를 공통적으로 둘러싸는 격벽을 형성하는 공정과,상기 격벽에 의해 둘러싸인 영역에 기능층을 형성하는 공정을 구비하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 기능층은 액적 토출법에 의해 형성되도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 11 항 또는 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 기능층에 선택적으로 광을 조사하는 공정을 더 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극과 화소 전극 사이의 영역에 배치된 상기 기능층에 선택적으로 광을 조사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 광은 자외광인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 광을 조사한 후에, 상기 기능층에 열처리를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치의 제조 방법.
