Claims (44)
- 다중-입력 다중-출력(MIMO) 통신시스템에서 송신기로부터 수신기 유닛으로 데이터를 전송하기 위한 방법으로서,수신기 유닛에서,다수의 수신 안테나를 통해 다수의 신호를 수신하는 단계를 포함하는데, 상기 수신 안테나로부터 수신된 신호는 상기 송신기 유닛으로부터 전송된 하나 이상의 신호의 결합을 포함하며,데이터 전송을 위하여 사용된 다수의 전송채널의 특성을 나타내는 채널 상태정보(CSI)를 유도하기 위하여 상기 수신된 정보를 처리하는 단계, 및상기 CSI를 다시 상기 송신기 유닛으로 전송하는 단계를 포함하며;상기 송신기 유닛에서,상기 수신기 유닛으로부터 상기 CSI를 수신하는 단계, 및상기 수신된 CSI에 기초하여 상기 수신기 유닛에 전송하기 위한 데이터를 처리하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 보고된 CIS는 상기 다수의 전송 채널의 각각에 대한 신호 대 잡음비 더하기 간섭(SNR) 추정치를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 송신기 유닛에서의 처리 단계는 전송채널에 대한 SNR 추정치에 기초하여 각각의 전송채널에 대한 데이터를 코딩하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.

- 다중입력 다중출력(MIMO) 통신시스템으로서,수신기 유닛은,다수의 수신 안테나를 통해 다수의 신호를 수신하고 수신된 신호를 처리하여 수신된 변조심볼을 제공하도록 구성된 다수의 프런트-엔드 프로세서,상기 프런트-엔드 프로세서에 접속되며, 상기 수신된 변조심볼을 수신 및 처리하여 데이터 전송을 위하여 사용되는 다수의 전송채널의 특성을 나타내는 채널상태 정보(CSI)를 유도하도록 구성된 적어도 하나의 수신 MIMO 프로세서, 및상기 수신 MIMO 프로세서에 접속되며, 상기 송신기 유닛에 다시 전송하기 위한 상기 CSI를 처리하도록 구성된 전송 데이터 프로세서를 포함하며;송신기 유닛은,상기 수신기 유닛으로부터 하나 이상의 신호를 수신 및 처리하여 상기 전송된 CSI를 복원하도록 구성된 적어도 하나의 복조기, 및상기 복원된 CSI에 기초하여 상기 수신기 유닛에 전송하기 위한 데이터를 처리하도록 구성된 전송 데이터 프로세서를 포함하는 다중입력 다중출력(MIMO) 통신시스템
- 다중-입력 다중-출력(MIMO) 통신시스템에서 사용하는 수신기 유닛으로서,다수의 수신 안테나를 통해 다수의 전송된 신호를 수신하고 상기 수신된 신호를 처리하여 수신된 변조심볼을 제공하도록 구성된 다수의 프런트-엔드 프로세서와;상기 다수의 프런트-엔드 프로세서에 접속되며, 제 1 매트릭스에 따라 상기 수신된 변조심볼을 필터링하여 필터링된 변조심볼을 제공하도록 구성된 필터를 포함하는데, 상기 제 1 매트릭스는 데이터 전송을 위하여 사용되는 다수의 전송 안테나 및 다수의 수신 안테나사이의 채널특성의 추정치를 나타내며;상기 필터에 접속되며, 제 2 매트릭스와 상기 필터링된 변조심볼을 곱하여 전송된 변조심볼의 추정치를 제공하도록 구성된 곱셈기와;상기 곱셈기에 접속되며, 상기 데이터 전송을 위하여 사용된 다수의 전송채널의 특성을 추정하여 상기 추정된 채널 특성을 나타내는 채널상태 정보(CSI)를 제공하도록 구성된 채널 품질 추정기와;상기 수신기 유닛으로부터 전송하기 위한 상기 CSI를 수신하여 처리하도록 구성된 전송 데이터 프로세서를 포함하는 수신기 유닛.
- 제 40항에 있어서, 상기 변조 심볼 추정치에 기초하여 채널 계수 매트릭스를 유도하도록 구성된 제 2 추정기를 포함하며, 상기 제 1 매트릭스는 채널 계수 매트릭스에 기초하여 유도되는 수신기 유닛.
- 제 40항에 있어서, 상기 전송채널 특성의 상기 추정치는 신호대 잡음비 더하기 간섭(SNR) 추정치를 포함하는 수신기 유닛.
- 제 40항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 복조 엘리먼트를 포함하며, 상기 각각의 복조 엘리먼트는 특정 복조방식에 따라 변조심볼 추정치의 각 스트림을 수신 및 복조하여 복조된 심볼의 스트림을 제공하도록 구성된 수신기 유닛.
- 제 43항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 디코더를 포함하며, 상기 각각의 디코더는 특정 디코딩 방식에 따라 복조된 심볼의 스트림을 수신 및 디코딩하여 디코딩된 데이터를 제공하는 수신기 유닛.
