Abstract
Description
Claims (11)
- 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,상호 대향하는 제1 및 제2 절연 기판,상기 제1 및 제2 절연 기판 사이에 배치된 액정층,상기 제1 절연 기판상에 배치된 보조층,상기 보조층의 상부에 배치된 평탄화 절연막,상기 평탄화 절연막과 상기 제2 절연 기판 사이에서 상기 액정층을 밀봉하기 위해 설치된 밀봉재, 및상기 밀봉재의 하부에 배치되고 적어도 1개의 슬릿을 포함하는 보조층을 포함하되, 상기 슬릿에 의해 노출된 제1 절연 기판의 표면과 평탄화 절연막의 일부가 직접 밀착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보조층은 적어도 1개의 슬릿의 양측에 배치된 적어도 2개의 돌출부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보조층은 도전층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 도전층은 액정 표시 장치의 신호 배선의 일부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 도전층은 알루미늄 합금층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보조층은 알루미늄 합금층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 평탄화 절연막은 아크릴계 수지막을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 복수의 액정 셀을 갖는 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,상호 대향하는 제1 및 제2 절연 기판,상기 제1 및 제2 절연 기판 사이에 배치된 액정층,상기 제1 절연 기판상에 배치된 배선층,상기 제1 절연 기판의 단부 상에 배치되고 동시에 배선층과 전기적으로 접속된 콘택트 패드,상기 제2 절연 기판상에 배치된 액정 셀의 공통 전극과,상기 제1 및 제2 절연 기판의 단부 사이에 배치되고, 상기 공통 전극과 상기 콘택트 패드를 전기적으로 접속하기 위한 도전재, 및상기 배선층 및 상기 콘택트 패드 상에서 도전재와 콘택트 패드와의 접촉 부분을 보호하며, 또 콘택트 패드의 일부를 피복하는 층간 절연막을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 도전재는 도전성 재료가 혼입된 수지를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 도전재는 그 표면에 도전 물질이 코팅된 복수의 구상(球狀)의 입자를 포함하고, 상기 층간 절연막은 각 입자를 수용하며, 동시에 상기 콘택트 패드와 접촉하기 위한 콘택트 홀을 가지며,또한 상기 제1 및 상기 제2 절연 기판 사이에 있어서의 각 입자가 설치된 공간에는 충전된 수지를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 콘택트 홀을 포함하는 층간 절연막상에 배치되고, 각 입자와 배선층을 전기적으로 접속할 수 있는 투명 도전막을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
