Claims (14)
- 서로 대향하여 배치된 제1 및 제2 기판 사이에 액정을 봉입하여 이루어지고,상기 제1 기판에는 화소마다 형성된 복수의 화소 전극과, 배선과, 상기 액정의 배향을 제어하는 제1 배향분할수단이 배치되며,상기 제2 기판에는 상기 액정의 배향을 제어하는 제2 배향분할수단이 설치된 대향 전극이 형성되는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 제1 배향분할수단은, 상기 제2 배향분할수단과 중첩하지 않는 위치에서, 상기 제2 배향분할수단과 평면적으로 평행하게 배치되고,상기 배선이 상기 제1 배향분할수단에 중첩하여 배치되며,상기 제1 및 제2 기판의 상기 화소 전극과 상기 대향 전극 상에 러빙 처리를 하지 않은 수직 배향막이 형성되어 있고,상기 액정의 배향 방향이, 1 화소 내에서 3개 이상의 영역으로 분할되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 서로 대향하여 배치된 제1 및 제2 기판 사이에 액정을 봉입하여 이루어지고,상기 제1 기판에는 화소마다 형성된 복수의 화소 전극과, 배선과, 상기 액정의 배향을 제어하는 제1 배향분할수단이 배치되며,상기 제2 기판에는 상기 액정의 배향을 제어하는 제2 배향분할수단이 설치된 대향 전극이 형성되는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 제1 배향분할수단은, 상기 제2 배향분할수단과 중첩하지 않는 위치에서, 상기 제2 배향분할수단과 평면적으로 평행하게 배치되고,상기 배선이 상기 제2 배향분할수단에 중첩하여 배치되며,상기 제1 기판의 화소 전극과 상기 제2 기판의 대향 전극 상에 러빙 처리를 하지 않은 수직 배향막이 형성되어 있고,상기 액정의 배향 방향이, 1 화소 내에서 3개 이상의 영역으로 분할되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 제1 기판에는, 게이트 신호선 및 드레인 신호선이 더 배치되고, 상기 게이트 신호선 및 드레인 신호선에 접속된 스위칭 소자를 가지며, 상기 화소 전극은 상기 스위칭 소자에 접속되어 있고,상기 배선은 상기 제1 기판에 배치된 드레인 신호선인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 제1 기판에는, 게이트 신호선 및 드레인 신호선이 더 배치되고, 상기 게이트 신호선 및 드레인 신호선에 접속된 스위칭 소자를 가지며, 상기 화소 전극은 상기 스위칭 소자에 접속되어 있고,상기 배선은 상기 제1 기판에 배치된 게이트 신호선인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 제1 기판에는, 상기 화소 전극과 상기 대향 전극이 형성하는 액정용량과 병렬로 접속된 보조용량을 형성하는 보조용량전극선이 배치되고,상기 배선은 상기 보조용량전극선인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 제2 배향분할수단은 배향제어경사부인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 제2 배향분할수단은 배향제어창인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 제1 배향분할수단은 배향제어경사부인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 제1 배향분할수단은 배향제어창인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 배선이 상기 배향분할수단에 중첩하고 있는 영역에 있어서, 상기 화소 전극이 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 서로 대향하여 배치된 제1 및 제2 기판 사이에 음의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 봉입하여 이루어지고,상기 제1 기판에는 화소마다 형성된 복수의 화소 전극과, 차광성의 배선이 배치되며,상기 제2 기판에는 대향 전극이 형성되고,상기 제1 및 제2 기판의 상기 화소 전극 및 상기 대향 전극 위에는 러빙 처리를 하지 않은 수직 배향막이 형성된 노멀리 블랙 방식의 액정표시장치에 있어서,하나의 화소 내에서 복수의 다른 방향으로 가늘고 긴 형상으로 연장되어 있고, 액정의 배향방향을 복수로 분할하는 배향제어창을 가지며,상기 배선은 상기 배향제어창의 일부에만 중첩하여 배치됨과 동시에, 그 중첩영역 내에서는 종점을 가지는 일 없이 연속하여 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 배선이 상기 배향제어창에 중첩하는 부분에 있어서, 상기 배선의 폭이 상기 배향제어창의 폭과 다르게 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제11항 또는 제12항에 있어서,상기 배향제어창은 상기 제2 기판에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제11항 또는 제12항에 있어서,상기 배향제어창은 상기 제1 기판에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
