Abstract
Description
本発明に係るクロロプレン系重合体ラテックス組成物では、前記界面活性剤成分中のノニオン系乳化剤の濃度を固形分換算で20〜100質量%含有することができる。
更に、本発明に係るクロロプレン系重合体ラテックス組成物では、前記ノニオン系乳化剤として、ケン化度70.0〜96.5mol%のポリビニルアルコールを用いることができる。
前記混合ラテックス組成物を硬化させる工程と、
を行う、止水工法、剥落防止工法、表面被覆工法等の土木補修・補強工法を提供する。
先ず、本発明の第1の実施形態に係るクロロプレン系重合体ラテックス組成物(以下、単に「クロロプレンラテックス」という)について説明する。本実施形態のクロロプレンラテックスは、クロロプレン系重合体に対して特定量の界面活性剤を含有している。本実施形態のクロロプレンラテックスには、粘着付与樹脂、pH調整剤、金属酸化物、可塑剤、老化防止剤、増粘剤、還元剤、消泡剤、充填剤などを含有することもできる。
本実施形態のクロロプレンラテックスに用いるクロロプレン系重合体は、2−クロロ−1,3−ブタジエン(以下、「クロロプレン」と略す)の単独重合体又はクロロプレンと共重合可能な単量体1種以上とを共重合して得られる共重合体である。
本実施形態のクロロプレンラテックスは、クロロプレン系重合体100質量部に対して、界面活性剤を固形分で20.5〜100質量部の範囲で含有し、特に、25〜95質量部の範囲にあると好ましい。ここで界面活性剤の含有量が20.5質量部未満であると、後述するイソシアネート基を官能基として有する硬化剤組成物(以下、「イソシアネート化合物」という)と混合されたときに直ちに凝集・ゴムの析出が生じ、均一な硬化物が得られないか、得られる硬化物とコンクリートやモルタル等の硬質な被着体に対する接着強度が不良となることがある。また、界面活性剤を100質量部より多く含有していると、粘度が過剰となり、配合・塗布といった作業に支障がでることがある。
本実施形態のクロロプレンラテックスでは、必要に応じて、界面活性剤中のノニオン系乳化剤の濃度を、固形分で20〜100質量%とすることができる。これにより安定なクロロプレンラテックスを供することができ、該ラテックスは後述するイソシアネート化合物を混合した際に安定的に硬化に資するため、結果として、該硬化物は、コンクリートやモルタル等の硬質な被着体に対して良好な接着強度を発現する。界面活性剤中のノニオン系乳化剤の濃度を20質量%以上とすることで、クロロプレンラテックスの安定性をさらに向上させることができ、後述するイソシアネート化合物の配合量を抑える必要がなくなり、得られる硬化物とコンクリートやモルタル等の硬質な被着体に対する接着強度をさらに高めることができる。
本実施形態のクロロプレンラテックスでは、ノニオン系乳化剤として、その一部又は全量をポリビニルアルコールとすることができる。
本実施形態のクロロプレンラテックスには、前述した各成分の他に、粘着付与樹脂、pH調整剤、金属酸化物、可塑剤、老化防止剤、増粘剤、還元剤、消泡剤、充填剤を含有する事もでき、これらその他の成分を重合後のクロロプレンラテックスに追加で配合する事もできる。
次に、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る接着剤組成物とその硬化物について説明する。本実施形態の接着剤組成物は、前述した第1の実施形態のクロロプレンラテックスに、イソシアネート化合物を混合した混合ラテックス組成物を含有するものであり、硬化物は、この混合ラテックス組成物を塗布・注入し硬化させてなるものである。
前述した混合ラテックス組成物は、その高い接着強度と難燃性を利用して、土木補修・補強工法に用いることができる。土木補修・補強工法としては、例えば、止水工法、剥落防止工法、表面被覆工法、断面修復工法、表面含侵工法、プレバックド工法、ひび割れ注入工法、RC巻き立て工法、鋼板巻き立て工法、炭素繊維補強工法、炭素繊維シート現場接着工法、アラミド繊維シート接着工法、導水工法、鋼板接着工法、縦桁増設工法、裏込め注入工法、埋設ジョイント工法、ポーラスコンクリート舗装、早期交通開放型コンクリート舗装等を上げることが出来る。
内容積3リットルの反応器を用い、窒素気流下で、水100質量部、界面活性剤(1)、亜硫酸ナトリウム0.1質量部を仕込み、溶解後、撹拌しながらクロロプレン100質量部とn−オクチルメルカプタン0.3質量部を加えた。過硫酸カリウムを開始剤として用い、40℃で重合し、重合率が100%に達したところでフェノチアジンの乳濁液を加えて重合を停止した。重合停止後、界面活性剤(2)を添加し、クロロプレンラテックスを得た。添加した界面活性剤(1)(2)の種類、純分の添加量は表1及び表2に示す。

表1及び表2のクロロプレンラテックスについて混合ラテックス組成物及び硬化物を作製し、以下の評価を行った。
[せん断接着試験(1)(乾燥面)]
クロロプレンラテックス100質量部に対してイソシアネート化合物を表3及び表4に記載の種類、量で混合した混合ラテックス組成物を作製した後、150g/m2を刷毛を用いてモルタル試験体に塗布し、塗布していないモルタル試験体と直ちに貼り合わせ、接着層としての硬化物を作製した。貼り合せたモルタル試験体は7日間のセットタイムをとった後に、引張り試験機を用いて、温度23度、湿度50%RH、引張り速度2.5mm/minでせん断接着強度を測定した。測定結果は表3及び表4に示し、接着強度が0.05N/mm2以上であると良好である。

クロロプレン系重合体100質量部に対して界面活性剤成分が20.5質量部未満のクロロプレンラテックスK100質量部に、イソシアネート化合物を表4に記載の種類、量で配合したが、比較例1は混合して直ぐに凝集物が発生し、せん断接着試験は測定できず、比較例2は接着強度が低かった。
クロロプレン系重合体100質量部に対して界面活性剤成分が100質量部を超えるクロロプレンラテックスLを用いた比較例3は、イソシアネート化合物を配合した際の気泡が激しく、混合の作業を行うことができなかった。
表3及び4に示すように、クロロプレン系重合体100質量部に対して界面活性剤成分が15〜100質量部のクロロプレンラテックスA〜Jを用いた実施例1〜15は、モルタル試験体との接着強度が良好であることが分かった。
Claims (14)
- クロロプレン系重合体100質量部に対して、界面活性剤成分を固形分で20.5〜100質量部含有することを特徴とするクロロプレン系重合体ラテックス組成物。
- 前記界面活性剤成分中のノニオン系乳化剤の濃度が固形分で20〜100質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のクロロプレン系重合体ラテックス組成物。
- 前記ノニオン系乳化剤がケン化度70.0〜96.5mol%のポリビニルアルコールであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のクロロプレン系重合体ラテックス組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のクロロプレン系重合体ラテックス組成物100質量部に対して、イソシアネート基を官能基として有する硬化剤組成物10〜200質量部を混合した混合ラテックス組成物。
- 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を含有する接着剤組成物。
- 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物の硬化物。
- 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を含有する土木補修・補強材。
- 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を含有する止水材。
- 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を含有する剥落防止材。
- 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を含有する表面被覆材。
- 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を、被着体に塗布又は注入、又は吹き付けする工程と、
前記混合ラテックス組成物を硬化させる工程と、
を行う土木補修・補強工法。 - 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を、被着体に塗布又は注入、又は吹き付けする工程と、
前記混合ラテックス組成物を硬化させる工程と、
を行う止水工法。 - 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を、被着体に塗布又は注入、又は吹き付けする工程と、
前記混合ラテックス組成物を硬化させる工程と、
を行う剥落防止工法。 - 請求項4に記載の混合ラテックス組成物を、被着体に塗布又は注入、又は吹き付けする工程と、
前記混合ラテックス組成物を硬化させる工程と、
を行う表面被覆工法。
