Abstract
Description
本発明者らは、硫黄系(スルフィド)化合物をリチウム二次電池の正極の活物質として用いるために、電子移動反応を繰り返し高速に行うことができる物質の探索、およびその反応条件を鋭意検討した結果、下記のレドックス活性可逆電極を発明するに至った。
[図2]図2は、実施例2の正極材料のCV特性を示すグラフである。
[図3]図3は、実施例4の正極材料のCV特性を示すグラフである。
[図4]図4は、実施例5の正極材料のCV特性を示すグラフである。
[図5]図5は、実施例8の正極材料のCV特性を示すグラフである。
以下、本発明を実施例により説明するが、本発明はそれら実施例により限定されるものではない。
Claims (13)
- 少なくとも一つ以上の芳香族環およびジスルフィド結合を一つ以上含む環を持ち、ジスルフィド含有環の辺にその芳香環の辺を含むレドックス活性硫黄含有物質であって、そのジスルフィド含有環が開かずに環あたり一つ以上の電子を可逆的に授受することができる性質を持つ硫黄含有物質を含むレドックス活性膜を導電性基体の表面に備えるレドックス活性可逆電極。
- 前記硫黄含有物質のジスルフィド含有環では、その硫黄部位のレドックス反応によりその環は開閉せず、一つの環当たりプラス一価、および/あるいはプラス二価、および/あるいはマイマス一価に荷電する請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記硫黄含有物質のレドックス反応が起こる電位は、リチウム金属電極を対照電極とした電位でプラス2.0から4.5ボルトに在る請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記レドックス活性膜が、電子伝導性高分子、炭素系導電性粒子、金属酸化物、金属錯体、および/または金属の微粒子をさらに含む請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記電子伝導性高分子が、ポリチオフェン化合物、もしくはポリピロール化合物、もしくはポリアニリン化合物を包含する請求項7に記載の電極。
- 前記金属酸化物が、前記硫黄含有物質をその層間に固定できる層間化合物を包含する請求項7に記載の電極。
- 前記金属酸化物が、コバルト酸リチウム(LiCoO2)、ニッケル酸リチウム(LiNiO2)、およびマンガン酸リチウム(LiMn2O4)からなる群の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種のレドックス活性化合物を含む請求項7に記載の電極。
- 前記金属錯体が、リン酸鉄リチウム(オリビン酸リチウム塩)を包含する請求項7に記載の電極。
- 正極と、リチウム系負極と、該正極と負極との間に配置された電解質層を備え、該正極が、請求項1に記載のレドックス活性可逆電極により構成されるリチウム二次電池。
- 正極と、非リチウム系レドックス活性負極と、該正極と負極との間に配置された電解質層を備え、該正極が、請求項1に記載のレドックス活性可逆電極により構成される二次電池。
