Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.式: 〔式中、RL基は、15より大きい分子量を有する〕 の配列を含む安定なフリーラジカルの存在下にラジカル経路により重合可能な少 なくとも1種の単量体を重合又は共重合する方法。 2.RLが30より大きい分子量を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の 方法。 3.RLが40〜450の範囲の分子量を有することを特徴とする、請求項2に 記載の方法。 4.式(1)の炭素原子と窒素原子の残りの原子価が一価の基に結合しているこ とを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 5.RLがホスホリル基を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか一 項に記載の方法。 6.RLが、式: 〔式中、同一でも異なっていてもよいR1及びR2は、ハロゲン、又は、アルキル 、シクロアルキル、アルコキシ、アリールオキシ、アリール、アラルキルオキシ 、ペルフルオロアルキル若しくはアラルキル基から選択される〕 によって表し得ることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。 7.R1及びR2が1〜20個の炭素原子を含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記 載の方法。 8.RLが、少なくとも1個の芳香環を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から4 のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 9.RLがフェニル基であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。 10.安定なフリーラジカルが、N−t−ブチル−1−ジエチルホスホノ−2, 2−ジメチルプロピルニトロキシドであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の 方法。 11.安定なフリーラジカルが、N−t−ブチル−1−フェニル−2−メチルプ ロピルニトロキシドであることを特 徴とする、請求項9に記載の方法。 12.安定なフリーラジカルが、重合可能単量体と安定なフリーラジカルの総量 の0.005〜5重量%の割合で存在することを特徴とする、請求項1から11 のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 13.フリーラジカル開始剤が存在することを特徴とする、請求項1から11の いずれか一項に記載の方法。 14.フリーラジカル開始剤が、重合可能単量体の質量に対して50〜50,0 00ppmの割合で存在することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の方法。 15.10,000より大きい重量平均分子量を有する重合体又は共重合体を得 ることを特徴とする、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 16.100,000〜400,000の範囲の重量平均分子量を有する重合体 又は共重合体を得ることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の方法。 17.単量体から重合体又は共重合体への重合率が50%を超えることを特徴と する、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 18.少なくとも1種の重合可能単量体がビニル芳香族で あることを特徴とする、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 19.少なくとも1種のビニル芳香族単量体がスチレンであることを特徴とする 、請求項18に記載の方法。 20.温度が90〜120℃の範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項1から19 のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 21.温度が100〜120℃の範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項20に記 載の方法。 22.温度が120〜200℃であることを特徴とする、請求項1から19のい ずれか一項に記載の方法。
