Description
Claims (2)
- 車両の燃料タンクに接続されて前記燃料タンクで発生した蒸発燃料を吸着及び脱離可能な吸着体が収容される主キャニスタと、
前記主キャニスタに接続されて前記主キャニスタから排出された破過ガスに含まれる蒸発燃料を吸着及び脱離可能な他の吸着体が収容される副キャニスタと、
前記主キャニスタと前記副キャニスタとを接続する接続管と、を含む蒸発燃料処理装置であって、
前記接続管は、エンジンの排気システムの近傍に配置される第1部分と、前記第1部分の他の部分であって前記エンジンの前記排気システムから離間して配置されると共に、前記第1部分よりも車両上下方向下側に位置する第2部分と、を含み、
前記接続管の前記第2部分は、前記第1部分と前記副キャニスタとの間の部分であって、前記第1部分よりも車両上下方向下側に位置し、且つ、前記副キャニスタとの第2接続端よりも車両上下方向下側に位置する第2ベーパ溜まり部を含むこと、
を特徴とする蒸発燃料処理装置。 - 請求項1に記載の蒸発燃料処理装置であって、
前記接続管の前記第2部分は、前記第1部分と前記主キャニスタとの間の部分であって、前記第1部分よりも車両上下方向下側に位置し、且つ、前記主キャニスタとの第1接続端と同一高さ又は前記主キャニスタとの前記第1接続端よりも車両上下方向下側に位置する第1ベーパ溜まり部を含むこと、
を特徴とする蒸発燃料処理装置。
