Description
本出願は、「PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING ISOCYANATES AND ISOCYANATE DERIVATIVES」という名称を有する2017年10月5日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/568,511号及び「ISOCYANATES,DERIVATIVES,AND PROCESSES」という名称を有する2018年4月24日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/661,951号の利益を主張する。これらの出願の内容全体は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
好ましい実施形態は、エポキシド及び一酸化炭素試薬からイソシアネート及びイソシアネート誘導体を製造する方法を対象とする。ベータラクトン中間体は、一酸化炭素を用いるエポキシドのカルボニル化から製造され得る。エポキシド供給源及び一酸化炭素供給源は、バイオベースの炭素含有量を有し得る。ある特定の実施形態では、エポキシド供給源及び一酸化炭素供給源は、高いバイオベースの炭素含有量を有することが好ましい。ある特定の好ましい実施形態では、ベータラクトン中間体の少なくとも一部分は、少なくとも10%のバイオベースの炭素含有量を有する一酸化炭素を用いた少なくとも10%のバイオベースの炭素含有量を有するエポキシドのカルボニル化により製造される。一部の実施形態では、エポキシドはエチレンオキシドである。
Claims (2)
- イソシアネート生成物を製造する方法であって、
a.一酸化炭素試薬を用いてエポキシド試薬をカルボニル化してベータラクトン中間体を製造するステップであって、前記エポキシド試薬及び/又は前記一酸化炭素試薬が、少なくとも10%のバイオベースの炭素を含むステップ;
b.前記ベータラクトン中間体をアンモニアと合わせてアミド開環中間体を製造するステップ;及び
c.ハロゲン試薬の存在下でアミド開環中間体を苛性塩基試薬と接触させて前記イソシアネート生成物を製造するステップ
を含む、方法。 - 前記イソシアネート生成物をアルコールと接触させてカルバメートイソシアネート誘導体を製造すること、前記イソシアネート生成物を水と接触させてアミンイソシアネート誘導体を製造すること、又は前記イソシアネート生成物を第一級アミンと接触させて尿素イソシアネート誘導体を製造することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
