Claims (19)
- 電池特性情報を表示するための再使用可能電池インジケータであって、
電池の感知されたアナログ特性をデジタル情報に変換するように構成される電圧センサ、及び、前記電圧センサに通信可能に接続される通信回路を含む、プリント回路基板と、
前記通信回路に作用的に結合されるアンテナと、
コネクタとリテーナとを有する接続機構であって、前記コネクタと前記リテーナとが前記電圧センサに電気的に接続され、前記コネクタと前記リテーナとの両方が前記再使用可能電池インジケータの第1端に位置し、前記コネクタが第1の電池端子に接続されるときに前記電圧センサと前記第1の電池端子との間に電気的接続部がもたらされるために前記コネクタが前記電池の第1端で前記第1の電池端子に取り外し可能に接続されるようになっており、前記電圧センサと前記電池の缶との間の電気的接続部がもたらされるために前記リテーナが前記電圧センサを前記電池の第1端で電池の缶に取り外し可能に固定するようになっている、接続機構と、を備え、
前記プリント回路基板は、前記コネクタと前記リテーナとの間に配置されるとともに、前記接続機構が前記電池の前記第1端で前記第1の電池端子及び前記缶に結合されるときに前記電圧センサと前記第1の電池端子との間及び前記電圧センサと前記缶との間に電気回路が完成される、再使用可能電池インジケータ。 - 前記コネクタが電池の負電極に接続されるように構成され、前記リテーナが前記電池の正電極に接続されるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記コネクタは、成形バネ、ケルビン接続部、分割ワイヤ、板バネ、及び、これらの組合せのうちの1つである、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記電圧センサに電気的に接続される又は前記電圧センサに組み込まれる電圧ブースタを更に備える、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記コネクタが少なくとも1つの金属と少なくとも1つの絶縁体とを備える、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記通信回路は、無線周波数識別回路、ブルートゥース(登録商標)回路、ブルートゥース(登録商標)低エネルギー回路、Wi-Fi回路、Zigbee(登録商標)回路、LORA回路、及び、Z波回路のうちの少なくとも1つを備える、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記電圧センサは、1.8ボルト未満の開回路電圧を読み取ることができる、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記コネクタは、前記電池のエンドキャップまたはピップと係合するように構成されたコネクタタブを含み、前記リテーナは、前記電池の缶と係合するように構成されたリテーナタブを含む、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- ハウジングを更に備え、前記電圧センサ及び前記通信回路が前記ハウジング内に装着され、前記ハウジングは、並んで配置される2つの円筒状の電池の間に嵌合するように寸法付けられて形成される、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記ハウジングが三角柱の形状を成す断面を有する、請求項9に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記ハウジングが凹状である1つの側面を有し、又は、前記ハウジングが凹状である2つの側面を有する、請求項9に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記ハウジングが約102mm3~約165mm3の間の有効空隙容積を有する、請求項9に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記電圧センサは、円筒状の電池セルの一端に適合するようにディスク形状を成して配置される、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 前記通信回路は、薄型ディスクBLE、UHF、又は、RFモジュールを備える、請求項1に記載の再使用可能電池インジケータ。
- 遠隔電池表示システムであって、前記システムは、
第1端と第2端とを含み、缶を有する電池と、
請求項1に記載の前記再使用可能電池インジケータと、を備え、
前記電圧センサが前記電池の特性を感知するように、前記コネクタは前記電池の前記第1端で第1の電池端子に電気的に取り付けられ、前記リテーナは前記電池の前記第1端で前記缶に電気的に取り付けられている、遠隔電池表示システム。 - 前記通信回路に通信可能に接続されるコンピューティングデバイスを更に備え、前記コンピューティングデバイスが前記アンテナを介して前記通信回路から情報を受信する、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記コンピューティングデバイスがプロセッサとメモリとを含み、前記メモリがソフトウェアルーチンを記憶し、前記ソフトウェアルーチンにより、前記プロセッサは、前記再使用可能電池インジケータからの無線通信信号を検出し、前記再使用可能電池インジケータを介して電池回路を遠隔制御して電池特性データを決定するとともに、前記電池特性データをユーザインタフェースに送信する、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記電池特性データは、電気容量、電圧、インピーダンス、温度、電流、劣化、充電/放電サイクル数、及び、クーロン数のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記ソフトウェアルーチンは、前記プロセッサにより実行されるときに、前記プロセッサに、電池タイプ、前記電池の物理的位置、及び、前記電池が給電している電気機器のうちの少なくとも1つを決定させる、請求項17に記載のシステム。
