Description
図1から図7は、本発明の一実施例に係る車両用内燃機関の吸気装置を示す図である。図1から図7において、上下前後左右方向は、車両の進行する方向を前、後退する方向を後とした場合に、車両の幅方向が左右方向、車両の高さ方向が上下方向である。
図1において、車両1は、フレーム部2と、ボディ部3とを備えている。フレーム部2は、一対のサイドメンバ5、6、前側クロスメンバ7(図4参照)および後側クロスメンバ8を備えている。一対のサイドメンバ5、6は、車両1の幅方向(以下、単に車幅方向という)に離隔しており、前後方向に延びている。
Claims (3)
- 気筒が車両の前後方向に沿って配列されるようにエンジンルームに設置されたエンジン本体と、
前記エンジン本体の車両幅方向側部に取付けられ、後部に空気入口部が設置される吸気マニホールドと、
前記吸気マニホールドの前方に設置され、後部に空気出口部が設置されるインタクーラと、
前記吸気マニホールドの前記空気入口部と前記インタクーラの前記空気出口部とを連絡するインタクーラ配管とを備えた車両用内燃機関の吸気装置であって、
前記吸気マニホールドは、前記気筒のそれぞれに空気を供給する複数の分岐管と、前記気筒の配列方向に沿って延び、前記分岐管に空気を導入するように前記分岐管の上流端が連結されるサージタンクと、前記サージタンクの後部に連結され、前記サージタンクに空気を導入する前記空気入口部を有する入口管とを備えており、
前記空気入口部が上向きに開口されており、
前記インタクーラ配管は、前記空気出口部から前記吸気マニホールドに向かって延びる上流側管部と、前記上流側管部の下流端と前記空気入口部とを連絡する下流側管部とを備えており、
前記下流側管部は、前記空気入口部側に設置される第1の下流側管部と、前記第1の下流側管部と前記上流側管部との間に設置され、前記第1の下流側管部よりも剛性の大きい第2の下流側管部とを含んで構成されており、
前記第2の下流側管部が、前記吸気マニホールドの上方に配置され、かつ前記サージタンクと前記分岐管とに固定されていることを特徴とする車両用内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 前記入口管に空気を導入するように前記空気入口部に取付けられたスロットルボディを有し、
前記第2の下流側管部は、前記第2の下流側管部の下流側の管路中心軸が前記スロットルボディの上方に位置するように設置されており、
前記第1の下流側管部は、前記第2の下流側管部から下向きに湾曲するようにして前記スロットルボディに接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 前記エンジン本体の上部に、前記インタクーラに空気を導入するエアクリーナが配置されており、
前記エアクリーナが、前記第2の下流側管部の上部に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の車両用内燃機関の吸気装置。
