本願は、「撮像部品を備えたバルーンアテロームカテーテル」と題する2012年9月6日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願第61/697,743号の優先権を主張し、その内容はここに参考として一体のものとして統合される。

Claims (35)
- アテロームカテーテルであって、
細長い可撓性カテーテル本体部と、
カテーテル本体部の遠位端付近にあるカッタと、
軸外のヒンジポイントでカテーテル本体部に連結される細長い遠位先端部と、
カテーテル本体部内に延び、カッタに接続された駆動シャフトと、
カテーテル本体部の遠位端付近にある撮像部品と、
軸外のヒンジポイントに隣接して位置するように細長い可撓性カテーテル本体部の遠位端及び細長い遠位先端部の近位端の両方に取り付けられた膨張可能部品と、
を備え、
駆動シャフトは、カテーテル本体部に対して軸方向に並進移動するように構成され、
膨張可能部品が膨張されてカッタを露出し血管壁に押し付ける状態では、遠位先端部は、ヒンジポイントでカテーテル本体部に対して屈曲している、ことを特徴とするアテロームカテーテル。 - カテーテル本体部内に延び、撮像部品に接続された撮像シャフトをさらに備え、カッタおよび撮像部品は、互いに対して機械的に独立し、駆動シャフトおよび撮像シャフトは、カテーテル本体部の長さに沿って分離されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアテロームカテーテル。
- カテーテル本体部内に延び、撮像部品に接続された撮像シャフトをさらに備え、カッタおよび撮像部品は、遠位端で互いに対して回転可能に分離され、駆動シャフトおよび撮像シャフトは、デバイスの近位端で互いに回転可能に接続されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアテロームカテーテル。
- デバイスは、駆動シャフトおよび撮像シャフトの近位端に同時にトルクを伝えるように構成されたハンドルをさらに備え、
