Description
図1から図3は、本発明に係る投竿の一実施形態を示す図であり、図1は全体構成を示す図、図2は穂先竿杆の部分を示す図、そして、図3は穂先竿杆の主要部の構成を拡大して示す図である。
以下、穂先竿杆10の構成について、図2及び図3を参照して説明する。
上記した穂先竿杆10は、常法に従い、マンドレル50にプリプレグシートを巻回し、これを熱硬化し、マンドレルを脱芯することで製造される。本発明では、このような製造方法を実施するに際して、マンドレル50の先端に小径部51を形成しておき、この部分に穂先竿杆10を成形するプリプレグシート15よりも高比重となる金属製の管状体(高比重材20)を嵌入し、その上から管状体よりも低比重となるプリプレグシート15を巻回する。この場合、金属製の管状体は、小径部51に嵌入されると、その外周面は、マンドレル50の外周面と面一になるように形成されている。そのため、外周に、強化繊維が軸長方向に配向したプリプレグシートを巻回した際に強化繊維が折れ曲がることなく(応力集中が防止される)、安定した状態で繊維強化樹脂層を形成することができる。
また、本発明に係る投竿は、仕掛けを遠投するものに限らず、仕掛けを投擲して釣糸にテンションを与えて魚の当たりを待つ各種の釣竿に適用される。

Claims (8)
- 繊維強化樹脂材によって管状に形成された穂先竿杆を有する投竿において、
前記穂先竿杆の先端領域に、前記穂先竿杆を構成する材料に対して比重が3〜6倍の高比重材を配設し、
前記高比重材は、前記穂先竿杆の先端領域の内周面に取着され、穂先竿杆全長の5〜25%の範囲の長さの金属製の管状体であり、
前記繊維強化樹脂材の内周面には、前記穂先竿杆の内周面に配設される前記管状体の後端に当て付いてこの管状体の軸方向の移動を規制する移動規制部が設けられることを特徴とする投竿。 - 前記管状体の肉厚は、前記穂先竿杆の肉厚の2倍以下に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の投竿。
- 前記移動規制部は、前記管状体の後端部を内側に受け入れる環状凹部として形成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の投竿。
- 前記管状体の後端は先細りのテーパ面として形成されており、前記移動規制部は、テーパ面を面受けすることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の投竿。
- 先端に小径部が形成された断面円形のマンドレルの前記小径部に金属製の管状体を嵌入する工程と、
前記管状体が嵌入されたマンドレルに対し、前記管状体よりも低比重となる複数枚のプリプレグシートを巻回する工程と、
前記プリプレグシートが巻回されたマンドレルを加熱して前記プリプレグシートの合成樹脂を硬化した後、マンドレルを脱芯する工程と、
を有し、
前記マンドレルの外周面は、前記小径部への移行部がテーパ状に形成され、
前記プリプレグシートが巻回されたマンドレルを加熱する工程で前記プリプレグシートの合成樹脂がテーパ状の前記移行部を通じて前記管状体の後端と前記マンドレルとの間に流れ込むことにより、前記管状体の後端に当て付いてこの管状体の軸方向の移動を規制する移動規制部が前記プリプレグシートの内周面に形成されることを特徴とする投竿の穂先竿杆の製造方法。 - 前記マンドレルの小径部に管状体を嵌入した後、前記管状体の表面にガラス繊維を有するプリプレグシートを巻回して熱硬化させることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の投竿の穂先竿杆の製造方法。
- 前記マンドレルの前記小径部に嵌入される管状体は、その内径が小径部の外径よりも大きく形成され、
前記プリプレグシートが巻回されたマンドレルを加熱する工程で前記プリプレグシートの合成樹脂がテーパ状の前記移行部を通じて、前記管状体と小径部との間の環状隙間内に流れ込むことにより、前記移動規制部が前記管状体の後端部を内側に受け入れる環状凹部として形成されることを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載の投竿の穂先竿杆の製造方法。 - 繊維強化樹脂材によって、全長に亘って管状に形成された穂先竿杆を有する投竿において、
前記管状の穂先竿杆の先端縁から基端側に向けて所定の長さ領域の内周面に、前記穂先竿杆を構成する材料に対して比重が3〜6倍の高比重の金属製の管状体を取着したことを特徴とする投竿。
