Description
本発明は、下記一般式(1)で示されるアルコキシアントラセン化合物である。
本発明の一般式(1)で示されるアルコキシアントラセン化合物はラジカル重合反応においてラジカル重合増感剤として作用する。当該ラジカル重合増感剤とラジカル重合開始剤及びラジカル重合性化合物とを混合することにより、エネルギー線重合性組成物とすることができる。当該エネルギー線重合性組成物は、中心波長が395nmの紫外LED光を照射することにより、容易に光重合させることができる。
本発明のエネルギー線重合性組成物の重合はフィルム状で行うこともできるし、塊状に重合させることもできる。フィルム状に重合させる場合は、当該エネルギー線重合性組成物を液状にし、例えばポリエステルフィルムまたはタックフィルムなどの基材上に、例えばバーコーターなどを用いてエネルギー線重合性組成物を塗布し、波長が375nmから420nmの光を含むエネルギー線を照射して硬化させることにより行う。
フィルム状に重合させる場合に用いられる基材としてはフィルム、紙、アルミ箔、金属等が主に用いられるが特に限定されない。基材としてのフィルムに用いられる素材としてはポリエステル、トリアセチルセルロース(TAC)、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA)等が用いられる。当該基材フィルムの膜厚は通常100μm未満の膜厚のものを使用する。エネルギー線重合性組成物を塗布して得られる塗膜の膜厚を調整するために使用するバーコーターは特に指定しないが、膜厚が1μm以上100μm未満に調整できるバーコーターを使用する。一方、スピンコーティング法やスクリーン印刷法により、さらに薄い膜厚あるいは厚い膜厚にして塗布することもできる。
また、フィルム状に重合させるときは、酸素存在下では酸素阻害のためフィルム表面のべたつきがなかなか取れず、ラジカル重合開始剤の大量添加が必要となる。よって酸素非存在下で重合させることが望ましい。そのような重合方法としては、窒素ガス、ヘリウムガス等の不活性ガス雰囲気で行うことが挙げられる。また、タックフィルムまたはポリエチレンフィルム等で塗布した組成物を覆った後に、ラジカル重合させる方法も有効である。
このようにして調製したエネルギー線重合性組成物からなる塗膜に、波長が375nmから420nmまでの範囲の光を含むエネルギー線を1〜2000mW/cm2程度の強さで光照射することにより、光重合物を得ることができる。用いる照射源としては395nmの光を中心波長とする紫外LED、385nm光を中心波長とする紫外LED及び375nmの光を中心波長とする紫外LEDが好ましいが、波長が375nmから420nmの間に発光スペクトルをもつランプであれば使用可能であり、フュージョン社製のD−バルブ、V−バルブ等の無電極ランプや、キセノンランプ、ブラックライト、超高圧水銀ランプ、メタルハライドランプ及びガリウムドープドランプ等も使用可能である。また、太陽光によっても硬化させることもできる。
本発明のエネルギー線重合性組成物が光重合したかどうかを判定する方法としては、タック・フリー・テスト(指触テスト)を用いた。すなわち、エネルギー線重合性組成物に光を照射すると、重合により硬化して組成物のタック(べたつき)がなくなるため、光を照射してからタック(べたつき)がなくなるまでの時間(タックフリータイム)を測定することにより、光硬化時間を測定した。
ラジカル重合性化合物として、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート100重量部、ラジカル重合開始剤として、2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−フェニルプロパン−1−オン0.7重量部、及び9,10−ジブトキシアントラセンをラジカル重合増感剤として、ラジカル重合開始剤に対し、所定重量部添加してエネルギー線重合性組成物を調製した。次に、ポリエステルフィルム(東レ製ルミラー、膜厚100μm、ルミラーは東レ株式会社の登録商標)上に調製したエネルギー線重合性組成物を膜厚が15μmとなるようにバーコーターを使用して塗布した。塗布後、この塗布膜をタックフィルムで覆い、ついで空気雰囲気下、紫外LED(PhoseonTechnology社製RX−Firefly、中心波長395nm、照射強度1.0W/cm2)を用いて一定時間光照射し光重合により硬化させた。硬化に要した時間をタックフリータイムとした。9,10−ジブトキシアントラセン添加量とタックフリータイムの結果を表1にまとめた。
ラジカル重合性化合物として、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート100重量部、ラジカル重合開始剤として、1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン1.0重量部を使用する以外は実施例1と同様の方法により、エネルギー線重合性組成物を調製した。次に、ポリエステルフィルム(東レ製ルミラー膜厚100μm、ルミラーは東レ株式会社の登録商標)上に調製した組成物を膜厚が12μmとなるようにバーコーターを使用して塗布した。塗布後、この塗布膜をタックフィルムで覆い、ついで空気雰囲気下、紫外LED(PhoseonTechnology社製RX−Firefly、中心波長395nm、照射強度1.0W/cm2)を用いて一定時間光照射し硬化させた。硬化に要した時間をタックフリータイムとした。9,10−ジブトキシアントラセンの添加量とタックフリータイムの結果を表2にまとめた。
ラジカル重合性化合物として、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート100重量部、ラジカル重合開始剤として、2−メチル−1−(4−メチルチオフェニル)−2−モルフォリノプロパン−1−オン0.1重量部を使用する以外は実施例1と同様の方法により、エネルギー線重合性組成物を調製した。次に、ポリエステルフィルム(東レ製ルミラー膜厚100μm、ルミラーは東レ株式会社の登録商標)上に調製した組成物を膜厚が20μmとなるようにバーコーターを使用して塗布した。塗布後、この塗布膜をタックフィルムで覆い、ついで空気雰囲気下、紫外LED(PhoseonTechnology社製RX−Firefly、中心波長395nm、照射強度1.0W/cm2)を一定時間光照射し硬化させた。硬化に要した時間をタックフリータイムとした。9,10−ジブトキシアントラセンの添加量とタックフリータイムの結果を表3にまとめた。
9,10−ジブトキシアントラセンを9−エトキシアントラセンに代えたこと以外は、実施例1と全く同様にしてエネルギー線重合性組成物を調製し、塗布後同様の条件で紫外LED光を照射した。タックフリータイムを求めた。9−エトキシアントラセンの添加量とタックフリータイムの結果を表4にまとめた。
実施例1と同様にしてエネルギー線重合性組成物を調製し、紫外LED(PhoseonTechnology社製RX−Firefly、中心波長395nm、照射強度1.0W/cm2)を用いて1分照射した。得られた光重合物のUVスペクトルの透過率を測定した。その結果を図1に示す。
ラジカル重合増感剤として、9,10−ジブトキシアントラセンの代わりにイソプロピルチオキサントンを用いること以外は実施例1と同様にしてエネルギー線重合性組成物を調製し、紫外LED(PhoseonTechnology社製RX−Firefly、中心波長395nm、照射強度1.0W/cm2)を用いて1分照射した。得られた硬化物のUVスペクトルの透過率を測定した。その結果を図1に示す。
Claims (6)
- 一般式(1)で表されるアルコキシアントラセン化合物を含有するラジカル重合増感剤、α−アミノアルキルフェノン系ラジカル重合開始剤及びラジカル重合性化合物として多官能アクリレート化合物を含有するエネルギー線重合性組成物。
- 一般式(2)で表されるアルコキシアントラセン化合物を含有するラジカル重合増感剤、α−アミノアルキルフェノン系ラジカル重合開始剤及びラジカル重合性化合物として多官能アクリレート化合物を含有するエネルギー線重合性組成物。
- 一般式(3)で表されるアルコキシアントラセン化合物を含有するラジカル重合増感剤、α−アミノアルキルフェノン系ラジカル重合開始剤及びラジカル重合性化合物として多官能アクリレート化合物を含有するエネルギー線重合性組成物。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のエネルギー線重合性組成物を、波長が375nmから420nmの光を含むエネルギー線を照射することにより重合させる光重合方法。
- 波長が375nmから420nmの光を含むエネルギー線の照射源が、中心波長が395nmの紫外LEDであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の光重合方法。
- 請求項4又は請求項5に記載の光重合方法により得られる光重合物。
