水深1mmの濡れた路面において、主溝の深さが50%摩耗したタイヤを装着した車輌が停止状態から20m進むまでの時間を測定し、その逆数を算出した。比較例1の結果を100とする指数で評価し、数値が大きいほど到着時間が短く、トラクション性に優れることを示す。
20000km走行後の偏摩耗状態(ヒールアンドトウ摩耗量、ショルダー摩耗量及びセンター摩耗量)を測定し、その逆数を算出した。比較例1の結果を100とする指数で評価し、数値が大きいほど耐偏摩耗性に優れることを示す。

Claims (6)
- トレッド面に、タイヤ周方向に連続して延びる6〜8本の主溝と、その主溝によって区分された複数の陸部とが設けられた空気入りタイヤにおいて、
ショルダー陸部、ショルダー主溝、外側メディエイト陸部、メディエイト主溝、内側メディエイト陸部、センター主溝及びセンター陸部が、この順でタイヤ幅方向の外側から内側に向かって設けられ、2〜4本設けられた前記センター主溝同士の間に1〜3本の前記センター陸部が配置され、
前記内側メディエイト陸部及び前記センター陸部が、それぞれ横溝によって複数のブロックに区分され、その横溝は、溝幅が相対的に大きく且つ前記主溝に開口する一対の幅広部と、溝幅が相対的に小さく且つ一対の前記幅広部を連結する幅狭部とを有し、
前記内側メディエイト陸部に設けられた前記横溝の溝底に、前記幅広部で開口して前記幅狭部で閉塞した片側クローズドサイプが形成され、前記センター陸部に設けられた前記横溝の溝底に、前記幅広部及び前記幅狭部で開口した両側オープンサイプが形成されていることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記内側メディエイト陸部及び前記センター陸部に設けられた前記横溝が、それぞれ前記幅狭部の両端で屈曲したクランク状に形成されている請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記横溝の深さは、前記幅広部が開口する前記主溝の深さの10〜60%であり、
前記横溝の溝底を基準とした前記片側クローズドサイプと前記両側オープンサイプの深さが、それぞれ前記主溝の深さから前記横溝の深さを差し引いて得られる深さの40〜90%である請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記幅狭部における前記両側オープンサイプの深さが、前記幅広部における前記両側オープンサイプの深さよりも小さく設定されている請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記外側メディエイト陸部が横溝によって複数のブロックに区分され、その横溝の溝底に波形サイプが形成されている請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ショルダー陸部に、タイヤ幅方向に延びてタイヤ周方向に一定間隔で配置された複数の浅溝が形成され、前記浅溝の深さが前記ショルダー主溝の深さの10%以下である請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
