単体リチウム粉末と、当該単体リチウム粉末の表面を被覆するポリマーとにより形成されるコアシェル被覆構造であり、
前記ポリマーはジメチルカーボネート、ジエチルカーボネート、エチルメチルカーボネート及びメチルプロピルカーボネートのうち1又は複数に可溶であり、前記ポリマーはN,N−ジメチルホルムアミド、N,N−ジメチルアセトアミド、N−メチルピロリドン、テトラヒドロフラン、アセトン又はメタノールと反応することができず、前記ポリマーは0乃至150℃の温度下で安定に存在し、前記ポリマーの重量平均分子量は500〜500,000である、

前記リチウムイオン電池負極添加剤は、単体リチウム粉末と、当該単体リチウム粉末の表面を被覆するポリマーとにより形成されるコアシェル被覆構造であり、
