Description
Claims (3)
- 複数の出力信号線に対して、順に画素トランジスタを導通させる電位であるアクティブ電位を印加し、且つ、前記複数の出力信号線に順方向にアクティブ電位が印加される順方向走査と前記複数の出力信号線に逆方向にアクティブ電位が印加される逆方向走査とが切り替え可能な駆動回路を備え、
前記駆動回路は、
前記複数の出力信号線を構成し、連続して並び、互いに異なる画素行の画素トランジスタに接続されている3つの出力信号線である第1出力信号線、第2出力信号線及び第3出力信号線と、
クロック信号である第1クロック信号が印加される第1クロック信号線と、
前記第1クロック信号とはアクティブ電位が時間的に重ならないクロック信号である第2クロック信号が印加される第2クロック信号線と、
前記第1及び第2クロック信号とはアクティブ電位が時間的に重ならないクロック信号である第3クロック信号が印加される第3クロック信号線と、
前記第1、第2、及び第3クロック信号とはアクティブ電位が時間的に重ならないクロック信号である第4クロック信号が印加される第4クロック信号線と、
前記第1クロック信号線を通して前記第1クロック信号が印加されることにより、前記第1出力信号線にアクティブ電位を出力する第1回路ブロックと、
前記第2クロック信号線を通して前記第2クロック信号が印加されることにより、前記第2出力信号線にアクティブ電位を出力する第2回路ブロックと、
前記第3クロック信号線を通して前記第3クロック信号が印加されることにより、前記第3出力信号線にアクティブ電位を出力する第3回路ブロックと、を含み、
前記第2回路ブロックは、
前記第2出力信号線がソース及びドレインのいずれか一方に接続され、前記第2クロック信号線が前記ソース及びドレインのいずれか他方に接続されたトランジスタであり、前記第2クロック信号がアクティブ電位となったときにこのアクティブ電位を前記ソース及びドレインの前記一方を通して前記第2出力信号線に出力する第1トランジスタと、
前記第4クロック信号がアクティブ電位である場合に、前記第1トランジスタのゲートを非アクティブ電位とする第2トランジスタと、を備え、
前記第2トランジスタのソース及びドレインのいずれか一方が非アクティブ電位に接続され、前記第2トランジスタのソース及びドレインのいずれか他方が前記第1トランジスタのゲートに接続され、前記第2トランジスタのゲートに前記第4クロック信号線が接続され、
前記第1出力信号線、前記第2出力信号線及び前記第3出力信号線にこの順序でアクティブ電位が出力される前記順方向走査時には、前記第1〜第4クロック信号線には、前記第1クロック信号線、前記第2クロック信号線、前記第3クロック信号線、及び前記第4クロック信号線の順にアクティブ電位が加えられ、
前記第3出力信号線、前記第2出力信号線及び前記第1出力信号線にこの順序でアクティブ電位が出力される前記逆方向走査時には、前記第1〜第4クロック信号線には、前記第4クロック信号線、前記第3クロック信号線、前記第2クロック信号線、及び前記第1クロック信号線の順にアクティブ電位が加えられ、
前記駆動回路が形成されている基板を平面視したときに、前記第1回路ブロックと前記第3回路ブロックは、前記第2回路ブロックとは表示領域を介して反対側に配置され、
前記第1トランジスタのゲートには、前記第1出力信号線及び前記第3出力信号線がそれぞれ整流装置を介して接続されている、ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の表示装置であって、
前記第1トランジスタのゲートと前記第2トランジスタのソース及びドレインのいずれかの間には、ゲートが前記アクティブ電位より絶対値が小さい中間電圧に固定された耐電圧用の第3トランジスタを備える、ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置であって、
前記第2回路ブロックは、
前記第2出力信号線がアクティブ電位を出力しない期間に前記第2出力信号線へ前記非アクティブ電位を出力する第4トランジスタと、
前記第4トランジスタのゲートと前記第4クロック信号線との間に配置され、前記アクティブ電位より絶対値が小さい中間電圧にゲートが固定された降圧用の第5トランジスタと、をさらに備える、ことを特徴とする表示装置。
