Description
Claims (5)
- マトリクス状に画素が配置された表示領域において、一方向に並ぶ画素の各画素トランジスタのゲートに共通に接続されるように延び、複数並置された走査信号線と、
前記表示領域を前記一方向に横切るように延びる複数の電極であり、前記画素トランジスタに接続された画素電極と共に組み合わせて電界を形成することにより、液晶組成物の配向を制御し、タッチ駆動パルスが印加されることでタッチ駆動電極として動作する共通電極と、
前記表示領域を横切るように、前記一方向とは異なる方向に延び、パネル上の接触位置を検出する複数の電極である検出電極と、
前記表示領域の前記一方向に対向する辺のそれぞれの外側に配置され、前記走査信号線に順次走査信号電位を印加する表示駆動回路と、
前記表示領域の前記対向する辺のそれぞれの外側で、前記表示駆動回路より更に外側に配置され、前記共通電極のうち前記タッチ駆動電極として動作する共通電極を選択する選択信号を出力するタッチ選択回路と、
前記表示領域の前記対向する辺のそれぞれの外側で、前記表示駆動回路より内側に配置され、前記複数の駆動電極に対し、前記液晶組成物の前記配向を制御するための共通電位と、表示面へのタッチを検出するタッチ駆動パルスとで、いずれを印加するかを切り替え、第1スイッチ素子と第2スイッチ素子とを有するスイッチ回路と、
前記第2スイッチ素子に前記共通電位を供給する共通電位線と、
前記第2スイッチ素子に前記タッチ駆動パルスを供給するタッチ駆動パルス線と、
前記スイッチ回路が前記タッチ駆動パルスを出力する期間を示すタッチ駆動期間信号を前記第1スイッチ素子に供給するタッチ駆動期間信号線と、
前記スイッチ回路が前記共通電位を出力する期間を示す共通電位期間信号を前記第1スイッチ素子に供給する共通電位期間信号線と、を備え、
前記第1スイッチ素子は、前記選択信号でオン状態となり、前記タッチ駆動期間信号と前記共通電位期間信号とを前記第2スイッチ素子に出力し、
前記第2スイッチ素子は、前記タッチ駆動期間信号と前記共通電位期間信号とにより、前記タッチ駆動パルス又は前記共通電位を前記共通電極に出力すること、
を特徴とするタッチパネル付液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のタッチパネル付液晶表示装置であって、
前記タッチパネル駆動回路及び前記表示駆動回路は、nチャネル又はpチャネルのいずれか一方である単チャネルのトランジスタのみで構成されている、ことを特徴とするタッチパネル付液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のタッチパネル付液晶表示装置であって、
前記タッチパネル駆動回路は、2相クロックを使用して動作する、ことを特徴とするタッチパネル付液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル付液晶表示装置であって、
前記表示駆動回路は、前記それぞれの外側に配置された前記表示駆動回路の一方は、前記走査信号線のうち、偶数番目の走査信号線にのみ走査信号電位を印加し、他方は、前記走査信号線のうち、奇数番目の走査信号線にのみ走査信号電位を印加する、ことを特徴とするタッチパネル付液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネル付液晶表示装置であって、
前記表示領域は矩形であり、
前記矩形の表示領域の一辺の外側で、駆動用集積回路が配置される駆動用集積回路配置領域と、を備え、
前記駆動用集積回路から前記一辺と交差しないように前記表示領域の外側に延びる配線は、前記表示領域から遠い側から順に、タッチ駆動パルス用のクロック信号線、表示パネル駆動用のクロック信号線、前記タッチ駆動期間信号線及び前記共通電位期間信号線からなるスイッチ信号線、で並んでいる、ことを特徴とするタッチパネル付液晶表示装置。
