Vcorrodedは、腐食試験中に除去される耐火物の体積であり、
Vinitは、腐食試験前の耐火物の体積(Hg比重びんを用いた)であり、
Vfinalは、腐食試験後の耐火物の体積(Hg比重びんを用いた)である)。
カット=Vcorroded/SAinit
(式中、
Vcorrodedは、前述の式を用いて計算される腐食した体積であり、
カットは、腐食試験中の耐火物の厚さ減少であり、
SAinitは、腐食試験前の耐火物の初期表面積である)。
カットレート=(カット/Ttest)×8760時間/年
(式中、Ttestは、耐食試験の期間である)。
本明細書に記載した概念を、請求項に記載した本発明の範囲を限定しない以下の実施例においてさらに説明していく。この実施例の項の数値は、便宜上、近似または四捨五入してある場合がある。
Claims (10)
- ガラス体を成形するのに用いる耐火物であって、少なくとも85wt%のAl2O3、 6wt%未満のSiO2、およびTi、Mg、Ta、Nbの酸化物またはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む第1のドーパントを含む耐火物。
- ガラス体を成形するのに用いる耐火物であって、少なくとも85wt%のAl2O3 を含み、少なくとも3.55g/ccの密度、および2.69mm/年以下の腐食率である耐火物。
- 少なくとも85wt%のAl2O3と、6wt%未満のSiO2とTi、Mg、Ta、Nbの酸化物またはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む第1のドーパントとを含むガラスオーバーフロートラフを含む耐火物を提供するステップと、Al−Si−Mg酸化物を含むガラス材料を、前記ガラスオーバーフロートラフへ、前記ガラスオーバーフロートラフの縁を超えて流して、ガラス接触領域を画定するステップと、前記ガラス材料を冷却して、ガラス体を成形するステップとを含むガラス体の成形方法。
- 少なくとも85wt%のAl2O3と、6wt%未満のSiO2と、Ti、Mg、Ta、Nbの化合物またはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む第1のドーパントとを含む本体を作製するステップと、前記本体を焼結して耐火物を得るステップとを含む、耐火物を得る方法。
- 前記第1のドーパントが、TiO2、MgO、Ta2O5、Nb2O5またはこれらの任意の組み合わせである請求項1、3、および4のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物または方法。
- 前記第1のドーパントの含量が、少なくとも0.02wt%および5wt%以下である請求項1、3、および4のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物または方法。
- 前記耐火物中の前記Al2O3の少なくとも1%が、反応性Al2O3として提供される請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物または方法。
- 気孔率が、少なくとも0.05vol%および9.0vol%以下である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物または方法。
- 前記耐火物が、Ta 2 O 5 、Nb 2 O 3 、TiO 2 、Fe 2 O 3 、MnO、CuOまたはこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む第2のドーパントをさらに含む請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物または方法。
- 前記耐火物が、少なくとも95wt%のAl2O3であって、前記Al2O3の少なくとも75%が反応性であるAl2O3 、4wt%未満のSiO2、および少なくとも3.60g/ccの密度を有する請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の耐火物または方法。
