Description
図1は、六角形形状を形成するシード領域とブランケット領域とを含む一組の核燃料集合体2を備える炉心1を示す。核燃料集合体自身は、平面視正六角形形状を有する。炉心1は、従来のVVER−1000軽水炉の炉心と同様の幾何学的構成及び寸法を有しており、原子炉に上述の核燃料集合体を装着して163本の核燃料集合体2を有する炉心を形成することができる。炉心1とVVER−1000原子炉の炉心との違いは、以下に詳述される核燃料集合体2の構成及び構造にある。本明細書における炉心1と核燃料集合体2は、従来のVVER−1000軽水炉において使用できるように開発されているが、本発明の範囲から外れることなく、同様の炉心及び核燃料集合を、他の標準に従った原子炉や特別に設計された原子炉において使用できるように製造することも可能である。
圧縮バネ20は、下部プレート23に支持され、外管19は、(中央管18と同様に)対応する下部プレート23の開口部を自由に通過する。チャネル12が 動かないように固定されているので、上部プレート21に加えられる全荷重は、チャネル12を介して支持グリッド11に直接伝達される。
縦長のアングル部材41を有し、このアングル部材41には、スペーサグリッド42が抵抗スポット溶接で溶接されている。各スペーサグリッド42は、リムに取り付けられた一組のセル(例えば、228個のセル)を、外側及び内側の六角形に形成するハニカム形状のグリッドである。このスペーサグリッド42によって、燃料棒39間の必要とされる間隔及び燃料棒39とスペースグリッドセルとの接触部分の必要とされる長さが与えられ、放射能や熱によって燃料棒39が長さ方向に伸張した場合に、当該燃料棒39は、当該スペースグリッドセル内でスライドすることができる。スペーサグリッド42は、また、燃料棒が燃料棒束内の内部応力を減少させるための最低限のすべり力、及び、運転中の摩擦による損耗を避けるのに必要な締まりを与える。スペーサグリッド42は、その中央部に、シードサブアッセンブリのチャネル12を収容する開口部を備える。

− 同一の接続寸法;
− テール部、ヘッド部、及びフレーム構造について標準的な核燃料集合体の対応する部分と互換性のある設計をすること;
− シードサブアッセンブリ設計が標準的な制御機構及び荷重処理装置と互換性があること。
− 特定の核燃料組成及び可燃吸収剤を有する組成を用いることにより、特定の燃焼レベルが実現される;
− シードに装荷される核燃料の特定の部分及びブランケット燃料組成を用いることにより、核燃料集合体の標準的な出力が実現される;
− シード棒の様々な列に装荷される核燃料の特定の部分及びブランケットに装荷される核燃料の組成によって、出力の不均一さに関する要件が満たされる;
− 標準的な核燃料集合体の一般的な範囲内での反応度効果は、核燃料組成の特定の特性を用いることによって維持される;
− 出力レベルの規制及び標準的な制御システムを用いて出力を減少させることは、集合体と互換性のあるシードサブアッセンブリの外管に制御棒を導入する標準的なチャネルを用いることによって実現される。

- 原子炉において用いられる核燃料集合体であって、
シードフレーム及びこのシードフレームに支持された複数のシード燃料要素を有するシードサブアッセンブリと、
ブランケットフレーム及びこのブランケットフレームに支持された複数のブランケット燃料要素を有するブランケットサブアッセンブリと、
解放位置と固定位置との間を選択的に移動可能であり、前記シードフレーム及び前記ブランケットフレームを解放可能に共に固定する固定機構と、
を備え、
前記固定機構が前記解放位置にあるときに、前記シードサブアッセンブリが前記ブランケットフレームから取り外し可能であり、
前記固定機構は、前記固定位置にあるときに、前記シードフレーム及び前記ブランケットフレームを共に固定し、
前記核燃料集合体が原子炉の内部に配置されていない状態で、前記固定機構が前記固定位置にある、

- シードサブアッセンブリと、前記シードサブアッセンブリを囲むブランケットサブアッセンブリと、上部タイプレート(前記ヘッド)と、下部タイプレート(前記テール部)と、フレーム構造と、を備える平面視正六角形の形状を有する軽水炉用の核燃料集合体であって、前記シードサブアッセンブリが燃料要素の束を含み、前記燃料要素は、濃縮ウラン又は原子炉級プルトニウムを含むカーネルをそれぞれ有し、前記カーネルは、ジルコニウム合金からなる被覆材によって囲まれるとともに、らせん状のスペーサリブを形成する三葉の断面を有し、前記シードサブアッセンブリの前記下部タイプレート(前記テール部)は、シードサブアッセンブリの燃料要素を保持するサポートグリッドを備え、前記核燃料集合体は、さらに、平面視正六角形の形状を有する前記シードサブアッセンブリの前記下部タイプレート(前記テール部)へ接続され、燃料棒束の周囲に収納されたチャネルと、燃料要素を収容する前記チャネルの前記上部部材に接続され、前記燃料要素を軸方向へ自由移動可能に収容するガイドグリッドと、ガイドチャネルを形成し、制御部材を収容する中央管と、吸収棒及び制御棒を挿入するためのガイドチャネルを形成し、前記上部タイプレート(前記ヘッド部)に軸方向に弾性変位可能に収容される前記サポートグリッドへ接続された外管と、を備え、前記ブランケットサブアッセンブリは、スペーサグリッドが取り付けられた6つの縦長のアングル部材を有するとともに、前記シードサブアッセンブリの前記チャネルを収容する開口部を有する中央部にするフレーム構造と、前記フレーム構造内に配置され、濃縮ウラン添加物を有するトリウムを含む燃料要素の束と、を有し、前記軽水炉の前記サポート管に接続可能な前記ブランケットサブアッセンブリの前記下部タイプレート(前記テール部)には、前記ブランケットサブアッセンブリの燃料要素が取り付けられ、前記ブランケットサブアッセンブリの前記下部タイプレート(前記テール部)及び前記シードサブアッセンブリの下部タイプレート(前記テール部)が固定機構によって取り付けられて核燃料集合体の前記下部タイプレート(前記テール部)を形成する、核燃料集合体。
