Description

下方ハウジング部分は、ばねハウジング上を軸線方向に押され、取り付け部、スピンドルの駆動装置および流体のための貯蔵容器を覆う。スライダの位置は下方ハウジング部分の凹部を通して見ることができ、たとえば下方ハウジング部分にあるスケール上で読み取ることができる。
スライダの位置は、霧化すべき流体のどのくらいの割合が貯蔵容器から既に吸い出されているか、ならびに、どのくらいをまだ利用できるかを示す。スピンドル上のスライダは、必要に応じて、リセット用突起によってリセットすることができる。
寸法的に安定した外側の部分と液体を取り出したときに折り畳むことができる内側部分とを備えた適当な容器が米国特許第5316135号に開示されている。この米国特許の全内容をここに援用する。
アトマイザの構成要素は、この作用にふさわしい材料で作る。アトマイザのハウジング、そして、機能的に許す限り、他の部分はプラスチックで、たとえば射出成形によって作ると好ましい。医薬の目的のために、生理学的に許容可能な材料が使われる。
溶液は薬学的に受け入れ可能な補形薬を含んでいてもよい。
− この装置は、いかなる補助力(ばねによって生成される)もなしに作動し、弁部材に加わる流体の流れ抵抗あるいはシリンダ壁面に対する摩擦の結果として閉まる弁を包含する。
− 弁が、一般に3MPa(30バール)よりかなり上の圧力に対して緊密である。
− 弁部材は一体片として作られ、製造、組み立てが簡単である。
− 弁は、弁部材が密封面に到着するために移動する距離が短いために、かなり急速に閉じる。
− 弁は高い密閉作用を有する。
− 短軸方向に回転対称である弁部材を案内する結果として、密封面が作り出され、これは非常に多い回数の中空ピストンの移動サイクルを通じて高圧に対して気密である。
− アトマイザは、ばねを片寄せ、霧化プロセスを開始させるのに技術的に未熟な人によっても安全かつ容易に操作することができる。
− アトマイザはスプレー用のガスなしで作動し、したがって、環境に優しい。
− 流体貯蔵容器を、加圧しないか、実質的に加圧しない。
− 阻止部材の動きが、単純な方法によって、ばねに片寄せる回転運動に自動的に連結される。
− 好ましい実施の形態において、アトマイザは低摩耗性の純粋に機械的な構成要素からなり、長期間にわたって信頼性をもって動作する。
− 従動部分のための定まった当接により、流体の計量は非常に正確である。
− アトマイザを、安価に製作し、簡単に組み立てることができる。
− アトマイザが正しく使われているとき、カウンタにはアクセスできず、偶発的に故障することがあり得ない。
− カウンタは貯蔵容器から流体を何回も放出させることができ、1つのアトマイザで異なった数の貯蔵容器を使用できる。
− カウンタはアトマイザに組み込まれ、なんら追加のスペースも必要としない。
− 物質がカウンタから霧化すべき物質に通過することができない。
ポンプ装置のいろいろな実施の形態を既に一般的な用語で説明してきたが、これらの説明を、以下、図面を参照した更なる説明で補うことにする。
図1aは、流体に高圧を発生させるための本発明による装置の第1の実施の形態の縦断面斜視図を示す。同軸のボア(7)を持つ中空ピストン(2)と、弁の部分的に開いた位置における弁部材(3)が、シリンダ(1)内にある。高圧室(4)が、弁部材(3)の底とシリンダ端部との間にある。高圧室は、別の構成要素(図示せず)によって閉じられている。中空ピストンをシリンダ内で変位させることができる装置(図示せず)が、中空ピストン上でシリンダの外側に取付けられている。
組み立て中、弁部材(3)は中空ピストン(2)の端部上に置かれ、フック(10)が溝の中に摺動する。次に、弁部材と一緒に中空ピストンをシリンダ内に押し込む。
流体を取り入れるために、中空ピストンはシリンダから部分的に持ち上げられる。このとき、弁は自動的に開く。流体は、中空ピストンのボア(7)を通って、そして、弁部材を過ぎて高圧室(4)内に流れる。流体を追い出すために、中空ピストン(2)をシリンダ(1)に押し込み、このとき弁がほぼ瞬時に自動的に閉まり、高圧が流体に生じる。
図2bは、中空ピストン(11)の形成出口端部(12)をもった中空ピストン(11)の縦断面図を示す。変位体(26)を中空ピストン内に固定して設置するのがよい。
図3bは、形成端部(19)を持つ中空ピストン(17)の斜めに見た縦断面図を示す。中空ピストンの出口端部のところには広くなった部分(20)があり、ここにおいて、弁部材(18)は軸線方向に移動できる方法で案内され、取付けられている。広くなった部分(20)の入口端部は面取りしてあってもよいし、あるいは、平らであってもよい。
図4bは、内曲がりのリップを形成する形成出口端部(24)を持つ中空ピストン(22)および周方向のくびれ(25)の縦断面斜視図を示す。変位体として作用する厚肉管(26)を中空ピストン(22)内に押し込み、そこに固着してもよい。
図4dは、本発明に関連する装置の第2の例の変形例を縦断面斜視図で示す。選択的には、変位体(26)を有する中空ピストン(28)がシリンダ(1)内にあり、弁は閉じた位置にある。弁部材(29)の直径は中空ピストンの内径撚りも小さい。
図4fは、弁部材(29)を斜視図で示す。この場合、弁部材は凹部のない真っ直ぐなシリンダである。
図面に示した実施の形態はさらに変更可能である。構成要素は図面に示す方法以外の方法で一緒に使用してもよい。
図1aに示す医薬アトマイザの弁領域は、1.6mmの内径と5mmの外径を持つポリブチレン−テレフタレートで作ったシリンダからなる。高圧室は、ノズル・キャリヤ・プレートで閉じてある。このプレートにおいて、ノズル直径は20μmであり、ノズル・チャネルは長さ2mmである。
図3aに対応する化粧用アトマイザの弁領域は、2.5mm内径と8mm外径を持つポリエーテルエーテル−ケトン(polyetherether-ketone)のシリンダからなる。高圧室は、ノズル・キャリヤ・プレートで閉じられている。このプレートには、2mm長のノズル・チャネルを持つ直径25μmのノズルがある。
2.48mm外径を持ち、0.5mm直径のボアを有する強化プラスチックの中空ピストンをシリンダに押し込む。中空ピストンはシリンダ内へ45mm押し込むことができ、そのストロークは24mmである。中空ピストンは、その出口端部で5.0mmの長さにわたって1.85mmの内径まで穿孔してある。中空ピストンにおける穿孔形成した室のベースは面取りしてある。中空ピストンの出口端部は熱的に変形させる。
投与体積は約116mm3である。流体の圧力は約3MPa(30バール)である。
このアトマイザはヘアスプレーを霧化するのに使用される。

- 流体を加圧するための小型化された構造の装置であって、
該装置は、シリンダ(1)内で移動できるピストン(2、11、17、22、28、33)と、前記シリンダ内でピストンの前方に位置した高圧室(4)と、弁部材(3、13、18、23、29、37)とを備え、
前記ピストン(2)は円筒形の中空ピストンであり、
前記弁部材(3)は、円筒形の弁部材であり、前記弁部材の外周面を延びる一又は二以上のチャネルを有し、
前記円筒形の弁部材は、いかなる補助的な力もなしに開放位置と閉鎖位置との間を移動可能であり、
前記円筒形の弁部材は、前記中空ピストンによって案内され、前記中空ピストンに抗して軸線方向に移動でき、
前記円筒形の弁部材の軸線方向の移動を制限する止め手段が、前記中空ピストンに設けられ、
密封面が、前記弁部材の入口端部に設けられている、
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記中空ピストン(2)の出口端部のところの前記止め手段は、周方向の溝、又は、周方向の外向きのロート形の縁を有して形成されたテーパとして形成され、前記中空ピストンの出口端部のところでの外径は、前記溝のベース直径、又は、前記テーパの外径より大きく、かつ、前記シリンダの直径よりも小さく、或いは、
平らな表面をもつ前記中空ピストンの出口端部に設けられた直径方向内方に延びるいくつかの部分と、段部とが前記止め手段として作用する、
