Description
本発明は、工業用プロセスの弁に関し、より詳細には、閉じられた弁を通しての流体の漏れの検出および診断に関する。
プロセス制御産業では、自動制御弁を広範に用いて、工業用プロセスでのプロセス流体の質量流量および/または速度を制御する。いくつかの場合、特にバッチプロセスでは、弁が閉鎖されたとき、緊密な閉止状態を実現することが必要である。“緊密な閉止”という文言は、弁を通して、ゼロまたはゼロに近い流体が流れる弁位置を指す。詳細には、緊密な閉止状態が存在するのは、弁を通して流体が流れない場合か、流れている流体がプロセスに与える衝撃が無視できるレベルまで、流体の流れが減少している場合かである。
工業用プロセスに配置された閉鎖された弁を通した漏れを検出するための漏れ検出システムが提供される。挿入可能なプレートは、流体の流れとインラインである弁に結合される。センサは、流体の流れに結合する。漏れ検出器は、センサタップに結合されて、弁を通した漏れを検出するように適合される。

Claims (21)
- 工業用プロセスの上流管と下流管との間に配置された閉鎖された弁を通した漏れを検出するための漏れ検出システムであって、
流体の流れとインラインになった管内の弁に結合され、可変流れ領域を有する可変領域チャネルを提供する挿入可能なプレートと、
挿入可能なプレートを通して、管の流体通路空間であるルーメンに延びるセンサタップと、
センサタップに結合されるセンサにより測定された音響シグネチャに基づいて、弁を通した漏れを検出するように適合された漏れ検出器と、
を含むシステム。 - 漏れ検出器が、測定された音響シグネチャと、記憶された基準シグネチャとの間の差に基づいて、漏れを特定するように適合される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 漏れ検出器が、測定された音響シグネチャが、記憶された音響シグネチャと所定の限度以上に異なる場合、制御センタに警報信号を生成するように適合される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 漏れ検出器が、所定のノイズ限度を越えるバックグラウンドプロセスノイズの振幅および/または周波数の変化に基づいて、工業用プロセスの固定機器の問題を検出するように適合される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 漏れ検出器が、記憶された音響シグネチャに対して、測定された音響シグネチャとの間の相違の大きさに基づいて、弁を通した漏れの程度を予測するように適合される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 測定された音響シグネチャが周波数および振幅パターンを含み、漏れ検出器が、周波数および振幅パターンと、記憶された基準パターンとの間の相違に基づいて、弁を通して漏れている流体の漏れ量を推測するように適合される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 漏れ量が、記憶された基準パターンの対応する点に対する周波数および振幅パターンのエンドポイントに基づいて推測される、請求項6記載のシステム。
- 弁が、下流通路に結合された上流通路と、弁を通した流体の流れを選択的に閉鎖するように適合された弁閉鎖要素と、下流通路に近接した弁内に延びる一つ以上のセンサタップと、を有する、工業用プロセスの弁を通した流体の漏れを検出するための音響型漏れ検出システムであって、
一つ以上のセンサタップに結合されるセンサにより測定された弁を通して流れる流体からの音響信号に基づいて、弁を通した漏れを検出するように適合された漏れ検出器と、
下流通路内の弁閉鎖要素に近接して配置され、滞留する流体を弁閉鎖要素から離して流出させることで結果として流体の流れを低くし、漏れ検出器の漏れに関連する周波数に対する感度が高くなるように適合させた可変流れ領域と、
を含むシステム。 - 一つ以上のセンサタップの一つが、可変流れ領域に近接した弁内に延びる、請求項8記載のシステム。
- 漏れ検出器が、
弁を通して流れる流体からの音響信号を検出するように適合された音響トランスミッタと、
音響信号と、記憶された基準信号との間の差に基づいて、弁を通した漏れを検出するように適合された回路と、
を含む、請求項8記載のシステム。 - 漏れ検出器が、
弁を通して流れる流体に関連する差分音響信号を取り込むために十分な帯域幅を有する一つ以上のセンサタップに結合された差圧トランスミッタ
を含む、請求項8記載のシステム。 - 漏れ検出器が、
正しく機能している弁の基準音響パターンを記憶するように適合されたメモリ
をさらに含む、請求項8記載のシステム。 - 漏れ検出器が、
測定された音響信号と、記憶された基準信号との間の相違が、所定の限度を超えた場合、制御センタに診断信号を生成するように適合された回路
をさらに含む、請求項8記載のシステム。 - 漏れ検出器が、測定された音響信号と、記憶された基準信号との間の相違に基づいて、弁を通した漏れ量を推測するように適合される、請求項8記載のシステム。
- 工業用プロセスの上流管と下流管との間に配置された弁アセンブリの閉鎖された弁要素を通した漏れを検出するための漏れ検出システムであって、
閉鎖された弁要素よりも下流の弁アセンブリの上部から弁内に延びるセンサタップに結合し、下流区間の圧力を測定するように適合された第一のセンサと、
閉鎖された弁要素よりも下流の弁アセンブリの底部に配置された流れ絞り要素と、
流体の流れに曝され、閉鎖された弁の方向から、流れ絞り要素の全幅未満で流れ絞り要素内部に延びるクロスボアと、
弁アセンブリの下部に配置されてクロスボアに結合され、下流区間の静圧を測定するように適合された第二のセンサと、
閉鎖された弁要素から下流管に低い流体の流れを通すように、流れ絞り要素に形成される可変流れ領域と、
第一および第二のセンサに結合され、差分シグネチャに基づいて、閉鎖された弁を通した漏れを検出するように適合された漏れ検出器と、
を含む、漏れ検出システム。 - 流れ絞り要素と、第一および第二のセンサとが、流体の流れ方向に対して実質的に直角である軸に沿って、実質的に軸方向に並べられる、請求項15記載の漏れ検出システム。
- 第一のセンサおよび第二のセンサが圧力センサを含む、請求項15記載の漏れ検出システム。
- 第一のセンサおよび第二のセンサが、下流区間内部の周波数域の圧力信号を測定するように適合された圧力センサを含む、請求項15記載の漏れ検出システム。
- 弁アセンブリが、
上流および下流管区間の間に結合され、上流および下流管区間の間の流体通路を画定するハウジングを含み、流体通路をシールして閉鎖するように適合された弁閉鎖要素を含む弁要素と、
弁要素と下流管区間との間で、流体通路に、流体の流れとインラインに結合され、挿入可能なプレートの下部に可変流れ領域を有するプレートであって、可変流れ領域が、閉鎖された弁と下流管との間で、低い流体の流れを通すように適合されるプレートとを含み、
第一および第二のセンサ、流れ絞り要素、およびクロスボアが、プレートに配置される、請求項15記載の漏れ検出システム。 - プレートが、
プレートに配置されて、第一および第二のセンサをそれぞれ保持するように適合された上部および下部圧力タップを備え、
下部圧力タップがプレート内のクロスボアまで伸びる、請求項19記載の漏れ検出器。 - プレートの可変流れ領域が、
